Tilting her head slightly, she wondered if maybe he did not want her to help out afterall. Putting a finger to her lips, she eyed the area around her. "So then...would you still like my help?"
Sofia knew that if she ever lost Elizabeth, that she would need all the help she could get to find her. Though, this was not Sofia and Elizabeth in this situation; it was Theo and Alph.

He looked up again from the wooded area as she spoke, shaking his head. "Ah no, I didn't mean it like that. It's just, I don't want to be any trouble. I'd be grateful if you helped, really. I just... I didn't want to bother you if you were busy." He nodded slightly after he'd finished. "I'm sure I'd be able to find him with your help." Not that he wouldn't return to the house regardless, he would never live him behind...right?
He dug one hoof thoughtfully in the ground a moment, before finally smiling and looking up. Well, he'd find him anyway, so it wasn't anything to worry about. "So, if you really don't mind, we could try in that direction first." He lifted a hand to point, venturing a few steps to see if she'd made up her mind before pausing.

"It's honestly no trouble, really," she said quietly as they continued to walk on. It really was no trouble, as she did not have plans, but her tummy was starting to growl. The sun was also starting to rise higher into the sky, and she wished that she had brought some sunscreen. Though it was better to keep her complaints to herself and be more of a help, not a pest.
She stopped walking as Theo spoke to her again, waiting to see what he suggested to do next. As his eyes moved in the direction he was talking about, Sofia found that hers did the same. Nodding, they continued on in that direction.
It was not long before Sofia's belly began to growl again, and louder. She found it to be pretty embarrassing, and as they walked along, she hoped to find some berries. "So um...when do you usually have lunch?"

Walking was something he was more than used to. Not just from being rather... diminutive in size compared to the world, but also due to the fact it was part of his lifestyle. Which did explain why he didn't notice the time passing as the two sort of explored while hunting for the other kunkun. Rather, it was normal to roam about and stop when you really needed to, so he'd failed to notice the approaching time for lunch. Until the other mentioned it drawing his attention out of his hunt.
"Ah... oh um... usually when I get hungry?" It seemed the obvious answer, and now that she mentioned it... "Now is an okay time if you'd like?" He added, wringing his hands a bit under his cloak, a bit embarrassed he'd failed to notice until she mentioned it. "I don't know if it's much, but I did bring a little snack with me." Which included leftovers from breakfast, mainly some of the scrambled eggs tucked away as that had been his favourite. Still, he hoped it might due to some extent?

Sofia watched as Theo pulled the snack from somewhere under his cloak. She eyed it for a bit, wondering if it would be decent to eat. "Well, I don't want to take your food if you're hungry." Though she meant it sincerely, Sofia was also slightly nervous about eating it. Sure she trusted him, but sometimes boys liked gross things.
Not wanting to be rude, she pointed to a shady spot to sit under. They talked as they sat down, and would continue looking for Alph at a later time. He couldn't be too much farther away, could he?
