That did it. Raven actually fell over, toppling into the couch in pure shock. Never before had she met someone so disgustingly confident, yet so completely clueless. And worse- apparently, some women actually liked it! But she was certainly not one of them. "What do you do to these women, kidnap them? I can think of no other way that any would tolerate your company, such as it is, for longer than five seconds. The only reason I'm still here is because I have yet to decide what I'm going to do about you, so that you never, ever attempt this again!"

Her voice escalated in pitch and volume as she spoke, so that her last words were in a strangled squeak. Then she shut her eyes, trying to block out his stupidity; it was practically contagious!

"I only tie 'em up if they ask me to." He grinned. "If you're into that... well, we can arrange something." Peri winked and chuckled. "That squeaking is kinda cute, you know..." The fact that Raven was now on the couch with him registered in his brain and he slid over closer to her, putting an arm about her.

That put a few words back into her mouth. If anything was second nature to Raven, it was threats. "If you even try, so help me, I will remove your genitalia and place them in a jar in my laboratory, do you understand!?" When he touched her, she couldn't help but push away again, this time with more force, and perhaps a touch of magic as her hand lit up with a brief shower of gold sparks.

The comment about his manhood ending up in a jar made him laugh. "Ah, but perhaps you should take a look at it first. I think you'll have problems finding a jar large enough." And he was pushed away once again, this time with a bit of a kick to it. "AH! You like it rough! Alright!"

He glanced at her hand and grinned. "Oh, I can light up your whole world for you."

"You'd be surprised," she said through gritted teeth. Her hand felt numb, as it usually did when magic was forced through. Massaging it, she got to her feet again, and glared. "If you want it rough, I can arrange it so that you never move again."

That was perhaps a bit of overconfidence on Raven's part. Her physical skills were severely limited, and her instantaneous use of magic was not her strongest skill. But she would not have herself appear weak in the face of a buffoon.

"Oh really?" His tone was a challenge and he grinned. "Maybe you should surprise me then." He got up, his arms open once again in a welcoming gesture. "C'mon, sweetie. Give in to your true feelings."

Give in to her true feelings? Well, he was asking for it, so why not? Raven smirked, and clicked her fingers. Most instant uses of magic were difficult for her, but there were some she had practiced for emergencies. Like this one- which, if it worked, would immobilize her opponent. She had no desire to be touched by him again.

Assuming the spell worked, she went right on to step two- deciding how to make him regret that she'd ever walked through that door.

Raven cast her spell as Peri was in midstep. And someone unable to move a muscle couldn't stand on one leg very well. The man fell over and a funny sound could be heard, which one could assume was something along the lines of "Owww".

He couldn't move. This... wasn't really what he'd been wanting... And he'd fallen flat on his face. Not going well! She's just one of those girls that likes to play hard to get!

If Raven were someone else, she might have giggled with glee. The tables had truly been turned, and now he would do whatever she wanted. The question was, how to exact her revenge? The possibilities flitted through her mind, but she couldn't pick one.

Finally she bent down to address him. "Tell me, Instructor, how do you feel?"

Peri's eyes rolled upwards to look at Raven. Ah, so it seemed he at least had some movement. "My fashe hursh." He managed to say, muffled by the fact that he was speaking into the floor. So she's going to gloat this over me, eh?

Along with making threats and acting on them, gloating was one of Raven's specialties. "I see. I'm sorry to hear that, Instructor. Am I correct in assuming that you don't like feeling this way?" She spoke as if to a child, carefully enunciating each word. She wanted to be sure her intention got through this time.

Peri glared at the woman as best as one who was face down could glare at someone. Finally, he gave a sigh. "Yeah, yur righ." So what was the point of this again? He wasn't quite sure what this was getting at, but he did not like not being able to move!

He was unhappy. That was good; otherwise this first step of her revenge would be meaningless. "I take it you'd be much happier if I hadn't stopped your movement, am I correct? Don't get me wrong, Instructor- I just want to make sure that I understand you clearly."

Mentally, Raven made a note to thank Peri later- some weeks later, most likely. While the whole experience was rather painful to deal with, his suggestion that she 'give in to her true feelings' was working out rather nicely.

Peri gave another sigh. "Yeah, yeah." He looked up at her. "Le' me up now?" His face was really starting to hurt. A person's nose was not meant to support the weight of their body.

"Patience, Instructor," Raven chided. She was enjoying this- a bit too much, perhaps, as her concentration lapsed and the spell began to fade. "First, I wish to make a point, since I don't trust you to understand unless I state it bluntly. The point, Instructor, is that people don't like being forced to do things. I trust that you will remember this the next time you try to force your libido on a woman. Do I make myself clear?"
