Fates Warning is an obvious choice. Though their earlier stuff is more Proto-Power Metal, their material after
No Exit is 100% Prog. Another band I didn't hear mentioned is Biomechanical. They're an incredible Prog. band from the United Kingdom, and their vocals are all over the place. From singing, to screaming, to high-pitched power metal-esque style, to grungy style, they are truly an incredible band.
Another insane band is Kekal. They're in Indonesian Prog. band with harsh vocals, and their style is similar to that of Opeth (@ the person who said its a shame Mikael sings in harsh vocals, there is nothing wrong with 'em), and another band people should check out is Ihsahn, the solo project of Emperor's frontman.
