Lian frowned back at him and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Alright, first thing? I never said anything to disrespect them. Like I said. I dig Xiao. She's all sorts of hardcore awesome, and if not for her, I dunno how well I would've handled being left behind by the jerk." He was still frowning, a rare expression for Lian, but he lifted his chin a notch. "It was a question on why we have them to bond with us. If you wanted to shut me up, you could'a just told me that it was for the dragon or something equally as PC.
"Second of all, you were just teaching me how to disable someone! You said the head hold could kill people. What if I don't want to attack their throat, and just smash them a fist somewere that'll make them go down and puke? Geez!"
His hands flailed into the air, tail fully fluffed in his aggravation. "Do all you adults think I'm some sort of fluff-headed dummy? So I ask questions! Just 'cause I ask HOW something happened or WHAT happens doesn't mean I'm gonna go out and - and - and punch someone in the temple or tell Xiao to go away or something! I said I didn't want to kill anyone, and you said those could possibly kill. So what wrong with not wanting to hit the neck and go for the stomach or something?
"I mean, that doesn't kill unless you're Goku or Vegeta or hit the - the kidneys or something!"
Lian was almost panting by the end of it, and he was quiet for a minute. Then he shook his head and scrubbed at his cheek with the palm of one hand.
"Whatever," He muttered, and crossed his arms again. "So now I can make people choke and cause nerve damage and know not to put people in a hold for more then a few seconds. Is there anything else you'd like to make the idiot learn before I can leave?"

Kuyoja was silent as the child went on his rant, this one needed dicapline in the way he held his feelings as well how he choose his words. He continued to wait for the child to finish before moving, he half turned away from his student.
"A dragon is a wonderful thing, to bond with one is ...something most people would desire." He started his tone was muted, perhaps there was a bit of envy in his words. "One can only hope that you don't take advantage of what you are use to having around." He continued before turning back to face Lian fully.
"As I am the teacher I will choose what I believe is suitable for my student to learn. If I don't believe you are mature enough, old enough, or strong enough to learn some moves that is my decision. You can always request it again to be taught at a later date." he concluded looking down at his student, he was tall for a man perhaps rather imposing if one could consider him dangerous.
"I am here to teach the willing, if you are still interested in learning we may continue, otherwise you are free to leave." He stated letting the child decide weither he was mature enough to continue the class.

Lian burned. His eyes flashed with anger and slowly, slowly, he crossed his arms over his chest; Kuyoja was the recipient of a sharp, unusual glare from the panda.
"You know what," He said, slowly, his voice very, very restrained, "You aren't listening to anything I'm trying to say. So teach me what I need to be taught, I'll do it, and I won't bother to ask anymore questions or try to learn anything other than what you're showing me."

Now Kuyoja would of taken the reply from the panda to be an unwillingness to be open and accept that he was too young or immature to learn some of the moves. It was fairly obvious the man wasn't very great around children despite having one of his own. Moving he went to his clipboard and then wrote a couple of things down.
"I believe we won't learn productively any longer in this class. We have concluded today's lesson." he started as he seemed to be aluding tot he fact with a clouded mind and upset child as it were couldn't learn properly.
" Perhaps we can start a new class at a later date you can choose to pick up where we left off." He continued indicating the Lian was dismissed.

Lians eyes flashed up at him when he was told that the days lesson was over. His hands flexed and he drew himself up. With his chin thrust higher then it had been, his voice tight and just a wee bit upset, he nodded. "Fine," The red panda said shortly. "Maybe."
His mouth opened again to say something but it shut sharply as he double though the action. It was probably a wise decision. Instead, he turned sharply on his heels and stormed out of the training room.
((Thanks so much for the RP and for being so patiant with me! Kuyoja is AWESOME. XD No one's been able to tick Lian off quite like that. It was very, very fun.))
