[[That's a really good idea! I'd love to see how that all works out! And Akiko never asks for Yugi's new number because she still thinks Yugi doesn't love her since he let her go so easily.]]

Once they both reached the platform he faced his former hikari and readied his deck. He did not look down toward his friends or Sam. He didn't want to anymore. He just nodded to him in response, not even a smirk crossed his face. This was not the Atem that everyone came to know. This was even darker then when he was one with Yugi. He knew that he did have to give his all in respect, and he was really trying to. But it just seemed very hard to concentrate now on the game. When the start of the duel was announced, he drew his cards and waited for Yugi to make his move. He looked at the cards but couldn't seem to think of any combos. Well, at least he had until his turn to figure out something.

[[I figured their duel is going to be close- not as close as his and Sam's duel since Atem is going to make a lot of stupid mistakes since he isn't concentrated. But still a close match.]]

Joey didn't say anything when she spoke about Atem. Afterall, he was his friend too. However he wasn't going to tell her not to talk that way about him- she was hurt and she should let it out. He looked down when she mentioned him and Kaiba. But he managed to look back at her and force the sorrow from his face, "No more. He's going to marry Ishizu," he said. He couldn't believe he said that, that those words spilled out of his mouth. They were horrible, he couldn't bare to even hear them let alone think them. "And..." he stopped because he didn't want to say that Kaiba didn't want to see him anymore, "nevermind- it doesn't matter." He managed to smile a bit after saying- as if nothing was wrong with the fact. He couldn't believe how strong she was acting though. He still felt like a wreck and here she was holding her head up high. Sure she hated one of his friend's but he thought she would surely be upset by this whole thing. Well, she was angry, but that was about it. "Hey, maybe you'll make it next time. There was a lot on your mind," he said.

Akiko watched as Yugi and Atem faced off. Atem didn't look right, he hasn't so since his and Sam's fight. And both of them certainly didn't sound like her friends. Her head suddenly turned to Joey when she heard what he said, "WHAT?! How.... why?" How could that be true?! And how could Joey just be smiling about it? Those two were inseperitable, and now he's getting married. "But Seto is gay.... this..... doesn't make sense," she said mainly to herself.

Before Ishizu could say any more about the subject, Seto suddenly pulled her with him out the door. That's right- Sam and Atem were supposed to duel one another. She didn't really know that they were arguing, she only knew that they were going and that was about it. She wasn't kept up to date about them so she didn't know how big of a duel this was to them. However, she did know that this was big to Seto since he loathed the Pharoah, especially now that he was dating his sister. She followed him without saying anything. When they got their she would call so her things could be delivered to his mansion. Not that there was much but they were still her things.

((ha this has been a great rp from the beginning. In some of my other rps we cant think of a good plot but it seems we always have a ton going on, it makes it a lot better! mrgreen ))

The duel started and the two exchanged a few moves. Yugi frowned. he already put a good dent in Atem's life points and Atem was walking into the the easiest traps, like hes not focoused. Yugi knew Atem was better then this. Sure he was still putting up a fight but Yugi knew he could do a lot better. Was their fight really that serious that it effected the king of game's dueling?

"What?!" Sam said in shock in unisen with Akiko when Joey said Seto chose to marry Ishizu. Once again Sam couldnt understand her brother. She clenched her teeth angrily. All men with jackasses in her mind right now. "he's probably just confused Joey," she said affimitively. Though she knew that once Seto made a decision he stuck to it. For a few moments she actually wasnt focoused on her hatred for her ex.

Seto entered the stadium with Ishizu. He stopped a few feet away, seeing Sam's duel was finished and she obviously lost. The worst part was that she was sitting next to Joey. He didnt even want to go sit near them with him over there. He couldnt take it. He pretended not to notice them and walked up a few rows, sititng a few rows behind them.

Sam had noticed her brother out of the corner of her eye. She grabbed Joey's hand and held it in her own for support and comfort but still held a cold expression to everyone else. Then he surprisingly sat away from them. "Coward..." She hissed lowly.

[[Same here. I just like knowing that the story is going somewhere- that we have ideas for it. heh, I love our rps <3 ]]

Atem was really struggling to stay concentrated. He had to start geting on the ball or he was going to lose this thing. He finally managed to use some of the strategies he been practicing. He was playing like he usually would- but it didn't last long. He still wasn't thinking straight- he often attacked without thinking about Yugi's traps or even consequence. And yet, he wasn't out completely. His tactics were fierce, which was expected from his deck. Yet he lacked the grace he usually posessed during a duel. Yugi mainly lead the duel and only rarely would Atem hold the lead. He was still too concerned about Sam. Why did she have to be so ******** difficult!? What did he do wrong!?

"Confused about what?" Akiko said disbelieving the way Sam was acting. Her face showed compassion and worry for her friend, while Sam's did not. And that worried Akiko greatly. "Jeez, I mean he couldn't keep his hands off of you and he wants to marry some chick now that she mentions some affair they had?!" Akiko said starting to feel a bit aggrivated about how things were turning out. She knew nothing about Ishizu and although she seemed like a nice lady, Akiko felt like she was ruining everything for Joey and Seto. And something just wasn't right. It was like he was doing the same thing now as he did to her- but Seto didn't care what the press thought so what was it now?

Joey wasn't sure if Sam was right or not. Was he confused? He really didn't think he loved Ishizu, not that much to leave him let alone marry her. But then again, he thought that Seto loved him. Sure they fought about this situation, but yesterday and last night they were fine with each other. No fights, they even had sex with one another. He then looked at Akiko and smiled, "Akiko, it's ok- really." He wasn't sure why he was saying that. Obviously it wasn't ok, but he wanted to think it was. He then looked down to see Sam put her hand on his own. Was she comforting him? He wasn't sure, not with a cold face like the one she wore now. Joey did not see Seto, a good thing to.

"How can you say that?" she said utterly confused. What was happening to all of them?

[[is Seto and Ishizu within hearing range of Joey, Sam, and Akiko? I wasn't sure]]

Ishizu also saw Joey. She automatically looked at Seto to see if he was looking at him too. He wasn't, she just missed him looking at him. It seemed he didn't even see him. No matter, they were walking away from him anyway. Ashame though, Sam was sitting there with him. Sam was sitting? The duel must have ended and she lost. Well, she would get over it, she was a lot less stubborn then Seto [[not anymore XD]]. They sat away from the three to watch the duel.

"How the hell should I know?" Sam said irritatedly. At least she wasnt thinking about Atem, much. She sighed aggrivatedly. She didnt know what was going through her brothers mind. Everything was just falling apart in their relationships. Well at least Joey didnt see Seto come in with Ishizu. She still held onto his hand more for her own comfort. She didnt want to look pathetic but she was dying for some comfort and affection. She felt angry and needy. She couldnt help but look up at Atem and then back at Akiko and Joey. He was doing good and had some great strategies. Damn it she couldnt stand it. She first was attracted to him when seeing him duel. She kept glancing back until she was completely focoused on him. But he wasnt dueling like she loved. His confidence and power when dueling was so hot but now it was different. And that was her fault. Well good, she should want him to fail. She stared at him emotionlessly but she wasnt paying attention to the others anymore.

Yugi was glad when Atem would get the upper hand. He thought he was snapping out of it and focousing back on the game but then he would set a simple trap and Atem would fall for it without a back up plan. It was so unlike him. And now Yugi was getting destracted by all this, making the duel even closer. He looked down, seeing Kaiba sitting a few rows behind Joey with Ishizu. Did they even notice? was Joey ok? He could see that Akiko was really riled up about soemthing. He turned back to the duel. Everything was becoming chaotic.

Seto was only two rows behind and could hear some of what they were saying. He wrapped his arm around Ishizu when he heard all the things Akiko was saying. He just hoped Ishizu wouldnt get upset and leave. Why was everyone trying to make this so difficult for him? It seemed like the perfect choice in his head, but now seeing Joey down there was driving him crazy, and he was smiling? Wasnt he hurt at all? Didnt he care at all? No? He just smiled and said it was ok. Seto glared down at the blond angrilly.

((Sorry that took so long, and it probably sucked, i was being destracted ))

Akiko just looked at them both with puzzlement and dismay. Has everyone gone crazy? She shook her head and turned to look foreward back at the duel. Yugi was winning, but it seemed Atem wasn't really trying. After watching the astronamical duel between him and Sam, it was hard to believe that this was the same guy. Yugi was practically pushing him around at first. It might have knocked some sense into him because he finally started to duel- but he was still off. Even she could tell. She sat there, mainly looking at Yugi, smiling. She felt bad for him though, this was the duel he was really looking forward too and it wasn't played whole heartedly.

It was coming down to the final few plays. Atem's life points were very low and he couldn't figure out his next move. He just looked at his cards, trying to read them. He just kept thinking about Sam, starting to feel a bit bad. Yes, he did say some horrible things to her, but what about all the things she said to him? He thought she loved him, but it was very apparent she didn't. It was starting to show that he was more upset and sickened then angry. But the more he thought about what she said, the more he became angrier again. The last few plays were brilliant- tatics one would expect from the king of games. However, these moves came to late. No matter how well he played now, there was nothing that could bring his life points back up. Atem's lose was inevitable. Strangly enough, it didn't really matter.

Joey squeezed Sam's hand back feeling the need for comforting. How little Kaiba knew though, it took so much for Joey to sit there and smile. It took a lot for him to not break down in front of them all. He felt so numb before- he couldn't feel anything, but now with Sam there, looking so much like Seto, he couldn't bare it. And then sometimes it would go away, and he wouldn't feel anything. His emotions were like a switch, being turned on and off. However, the more time he spent there, the more his emotions would be submerged in the numb. He didn't want to feel anything, and yet, he wanted that comfort again. It was exhausting really. Joey laid his head against Sam's shoulder gently. Not really knowing why, he just wanted to.

Ishizu heard bits and pieces but really didn't care. That girl didn't know anything about their situation anyway, so let her talk. Well, at least Joey's reactions asured her that it was just a fling. If he was upset, she may have thought differently. She didn't boher to look at Seto, good thing or she would have seen the anger in his eyes. Instead she focused on the duel between Yugi and Atem. "Seems little Yugi has come along way since he and the Pharoah seperated," she said not realizing the strain that all of them held.[/color

Yugi knew he would have to wait a lot longer before he finally got the duel Atem promised him. This just seemed like a waste of time. No one cared. He felt such disapointment and irritation. They all needed to get over themselves already. He drew a card and played his final move, attacking Atem with the Dark Magician and reducing his life points to zero. He gave a small smile but then simply walked off the stage. He knew Atem was going through a tough time but if no one else cared then he wouldnt bother to keep up this act of pretending everything was ok and that it was a great match. The judge gave him his reward and announced to the crowd that he was the king of games. Yugi gave a wave and smiled but he felt like he didnt deserve it. He only defeated them when they were destracted and miserable. It wasnt a real win. The crowd cheered and he returned to his friends.

Sam felt a little better when Joey leaned his head against her. She felt kind of important to the blonde and she needed that. She brought her hand up and started playing with his hair, much like Seto used to. She watched as Atem was defeated. She smirked but it didnt really make her feel any better. She still felt horrible about it all. She didnt give any sort of congradulations to Yugi was he walked back to them. All she could think about now was going home and getting away from all this.

"That should be me up there." Seto growled. If it werent for these damn emotions he was sure he would be the one crowned the king of games instead of that pipsqueak. he kept looking down at Joey. He narrowed his eyes as he saw Joey lean against Sam. He was glad Sam and Atem were broken up but now he kind of wanted them to be together so she would leave Joey alone. He wanted Ishizu but he didnt want anyone else to have Joey either. As the duel ended he stood up. "Lets go..." He walked down by the others. "My jet is leaving in half an hour, if youre not there I'm leaving without you." He said harshly and then turned to leave with Ishizu.

((I gtg I'll respond to the other one later))

Of course Akiko clapped for Yugi when he won- he was her boyfriend after all and she was proud. Though she felt it was kind of an easy victory, she didn't truly grasp the disappointment Yugi was feeling. When he walked back to them she gace him a big hug to congradulate him. She did notice how he wasn't completely satisfied with winning, thus why she tried to cheer him up. "Hey! You did it! You were great!" she said while she had him in her arms.

Atem too nodded back to congradulate his former hikari on winning, but he was too concentrated on how horrible he felt. He turned away, first walking to the side lines to watch Yugi recieve his title, then he followed him back to the others.

Akiko looked up at Atem and decided to be fair to him too. "Good job out there," she said though it was a bit timidly.

Atem peeked over at Akiko and then looked away. "Yea..." he said almost blowing her off but not in a mean way. He just wanted to leave this place and go back home. Home, where it was safe and calm. He saw Sam and Joey, almost..... cuddling? He turned his head away and grind his teeth a bit. He hid his face away from everyone and grabbed his things.

Akiko rolled her eyes a bit. Oh well, she tried.

Joey closed his eyes and smiled a bit when Sam played with his hair. It soothed him to have such her do such things. It was exactly what Seto used to do to him. He didn't want those days to end, nor that feeling of joy to disappear. He didn't even pay attention to when Yugi won and Atem lost. He just rubbed Sam's back comfortingly. Joey was only brought back to reality when he heard a familiar voice cut through his day dream. He tensed up and froze, he knew it was Seto. All he could think was whether or not Seto was kidding about the whole thing. Maybe he misread the note, or perhaps.... perhaps. Joey lifted his head and slowly looked toward his ex. His eyes showed pain and emptiness that was hidden away by indifference and initial shock of hearing his voice. It was a very unfitting look of Joey. And he saw what he did not want to see- Kaiba who seemed to put up his emotional wall once again, and next to him was Ishizu. He stared at them, almost with eye of that of a dog who knew he had done something wrong and was being punished. The stare didn't last long though; he turned away, stood up, and walked away from the group. Once he was well away from them, he slowed down so he could wait up for at least Sam- or someone. But he mainly wanted to wait for Sam.

Ishizu followed Seto down so to alert the others about the plain. She saw the way Joey looked at them both; truthfully, it twisted her stomach. Maybe it might have been a fling with Seto, but she could tell it threw Joey off. There wasn't something right with him, not now. She hated to think this, but it was no matter to her. Afterall, Seto promised his heart to her first. Joey would just have to get over it.

Yugi gave a small smile and hugged her back, really needing her hug and cheerfullness right now. "Thanks... but..." He stopped and shook his head. he would talk to her later about what was bothering him. He didnt want to say it in front of Atem and the others. He put a small smile on his face again and looked over at Kaiba as he told them about the plane. Yugi was sure Joey didnt even want to go with Kaiba but they didnt really have any other choice. He frowned as Atem seemed to ignore the rest of them and Joey walked off. His best friend didnt even congradulate them. He leaned his head on Akiko and let out a sigh. "Lets go home..."

Sam kept playing with Joey's hair, feeling more content to have him close and comforting her. She pulled a bit away from him when hearing Seto's voice. She glared at her brother. He was just causing more problems and he never showed that he cared about her at all. And yet she felt like running to him and admitting that he was right about Atem so he would comfort her. But now she doubted he would even care. "Yes Seto..." She responded for them. She felt Joey walk off and she looked back before getting up and going after him, not wanting to be alone. "Joey!" She ran over to him, taking his hand and looking at him concerned for a moment. Seto did that sometimes, let his emotions show to his lover, but mostly stayed cold and distant. Actually he had warmed up to Joey a lot and Joey probably knew him better then anyone. Sam sighed and looked down, not knowing what to say and not really wanting to do anything but go home.

Seto held his breath for a second as he looked at Joey. Seeing him look like that made him want to go comfort him but he couldnt. As soon as Joey walked off he took a breath and looked at the others before turning around and walking back to the hotel to get his things. He didnt say anything to Ishizu. He looked like he was thinking hard about something and he was but his face stayed harsh and cold. He was just enraged for how everything had to work out.

"Yea," she said wanting to go home as much as he did. She didn't know how they were going to survive the plane ride home. It seemed like everyone wanted to strangle one another. Except for Yugi and her, that is. He smiled, but she knew he wasn't happy. She could feel it and she was certain he could feel how uneasy she was. And who wouldn't be? How would they all feel if they were in her and Yugi's position? The two of them could only watch the others slowly destroy one another mentally and emotionally- how could they not feel this way? But home, that was where the heart was. Perhaps everyone would calm down once they were home. Maybe some of them would come to their senses. "Let's go now," she said holding Yugi's hand and almost dragging him with her. She was just in a rush to get on the plane and leave.

Joey perked up a little when he heard Sam come after him and call his name. He looked at her as she grabbed his hand. He was a bit confused, though he had been out of it for a good amount of time- he did notice Sam acting cold and distant which was strange for her, but now she showed him concern like she normally would. Which was nice, of course, but he also didn't mind her being cold. She seemed stronger when cold, even though she was in pain. And that horribly reminded him of Seto. He couldn't take it. Joey held her close, using one hand to hold her back and the other to hold her head to his chest. He wasn't even sure what he was doing- he didn't feel anything but he did when Sam was around. When she was near him, he felt want and need, and his pain leaked through. But if he was close to her, the pain disappeared slowly. He closed his eyes and held onto her.

Atem was the last to leave- he just wanted to be alone from everyone so he waited for them to leave. He never felt this way before- it was more then being angry and upset. He felt empty. It was almost like feeling all alone but worse. It was like nothing mattered anymore- there was nothing to look forward to. Once he had all his stuff that he brought, he started to walk away to exit. He stoppedwhen he heard his name being cheered. Those fan girls again. He spun around and glared at them. None of this would have happened if it weren't for them. But then again, it showed him who exactly Sam was and how she felt about him. The girls backed away seeing his intense stare. He turned back and continued to exit only to stop again. This time, to see Joey and Sam hugging. He stopped at a distance to watch. Sam's back was facing him so she could not see him.

Yugi nodded and walked with her, trying to keep up since she was walking rather quickly. Seems she was just as eager to get home as he was. When they got into the lobby Yugi stopped her and held both of her hands, looking troubled. "Listen Akiko... it just seems like the others are forgetting how much they really love each other cause theyre mad. And I know we'll never fight like that but... I just want you to know that i really do love you, even if I ever say stupid things or get you angry, ok?" he said with a small smile as his cheeks got a little red.

Sam was a little surprised Joey comforted her right away. She didnt notice how he looked right through her, just seeing Seto, or how he was mostly just comforting himself. She didnt care. She was aware of his pain and yet just concerned now with getting rid of her own pain. She nuzzled her face into his chest, shaking a bit from being so upset but she refused to cry. She wrapped her arms around him, holding onto him tightly. Since her face wasnt visible to anyone she let her emotion slip out and her face reflected all of the pain she was feeling. She couldnt help but run her hands up his back and then over his chest. Him just being a man and being close to her was comforting her. She felt better, not much but a little bit, just being in his arms. She pressed her body against his and then looked up at him, almost a bit surprised that it was Joey and not Atem. moment went by of them just standing like that before she pulled away, face looking cold again. "We should go... Seto wont wait long...." She said, feeling bad for mentioning her brother to him and feeling really strange. She felt like she wanted to be with Joey again. She wanted to feel loved and wanted again.

Seto had gathered all of his, Mokuba's and Ishizu's things. Mokuba wasnt speakign to him right now. He had liked Joey a lot better then her apparently. Though he bared no real grudge agaisnt her other then her replacing Joey. Seto thought his family would be more supportive but they were all siding with that loser! Didnt they understand? He had to live for him not everyone else so he just didnt give a damn. He would do whatever the hell he wanted. He walked with his fiance to the jet and went into the cockpit, not planning to come out for another eight hours.

Akiko felt Yugi sop walking and stop her. She turned and looked at him wondering why he did so. She glanced at her hands being held then looked at him while he spoke. She smiled gently- though they weren't fighting she needed to hear him say that. She let go of his hands so she could hug him. She nuzzled her head against his shoulder and neck while she replied, "I know, I love you too. And the same goes for me- I don't ever want to fight with you or seperate." She pulled away so to look at him, "I don't ever want to lose you. I mean, I'm looking at Atem and Sam, Joey and Seto, and..... it can't happen to us, you know?" She lowered her head a bit and reached out for his hands again, "This shouldn't be happening to them...." Everyone was splitting up and it all seemed wrong. Joey's all screwed up, and both Sam and Atem have turned vicous on one another. And the thought of her and Yugi being next, it sickened her stomach. She didn't know what she would do without him, her heart would be broken.

Atem watched the two embrace each other. This wasn't just a friendly hug. He clinched his teeth, now that he was out of the picture she goes running back to Joey. That's probably how it was the whole time. He was just a rebound because her and Joey didn't work out. All those things she told him, just to sound sincere. He walked past the two, not wanting to look at them. He was going to say something too, but he was so angry that words couldn't form from his mouth. He just simply walked past them, not even hiding the anger in his face. He just wanted to get on the plane, get home, and never see Sam again.

Joey too hoped that when he looked at the one he embraced, it would be his Seto. But it was not Seto, it was Sam. She held a look of disappointment, as did he. Then her face turned cold and mentioned her brother. Joey looked down in dismay, he couldn't help but feel horrible when she mentioned his name. "Yea," he said pulling away. He watched Atem pass by them- noticing he was pissed about something. It didn't really hit him that he was causing his friend's anger to heighten. And quite frankly, he didn't care what was bothering him right now. He couldn't really care about anybody right now. He was only concentrated on how horrible he felt and trying to find a way to make himself feel better.

Ishizu stayed quiet as well, since that was her nature. Seto was managing to take care of her things and his little brother's. Mokuba didn't say anything to her, and she didn't mind. She didn't know Mokuba too well, so she wasn't sure if he was naturally quiet or was upset with her. She felt that in time he would be comfortable around her- he would have to be. Afterall, she was going to be Seto's wife, Mokuba's sister-in-law. Her and Sam would also be sister-in-laws as well. They hadn't really spoken with one another but she was sure that they would be able to at least tolerate one another. Truth was, Ishizu wasn't really close to anyone except her own brother, Marik. But he had left to persue his own happiness since he no longer had to stay in the tomb. But she was ok with being alone, it did not bother her. It bother her, howwever, when she was finally with someone and they promise you companionship then break that promise. Like any person, she didn't want to be alone. However, she toke being alone a lot stronger then most people. Much like Seto.

Yugi wrapped his arms around her tightly as she hugged him. He held her close and closed his eyes for a moment, listening to what she was saying. She assured him they would be ok but with everyone else's relationships breaking he was afraid theirs would too. He looked more determined as they pulled away and held hands again. "I thought they would get over it and we would all be ok again but... well either way, I just want to make sure we'll always be together. We cant let this effect us too much. I know they're adults and can make their own decisions but I feel the need to get involved because I care about them.... But I dont want our relationship to worsen because of this chaos." He said. He felt so helpless with this situation. What were they supposed to do besides get pulled down with everyone? Getting home sounded like a good idea but he had wanted everyone to be together before they got home. He sighed and dropped on of her hands to walk, holding her other hand tightly. He led them up to their room. He didnt even think Akiko had been in her room the whole time they were there. This trip may have been horrible over all but they had a few good memories.

Sam looked at Atem as he passed, glaring at him, and more importantly hoping he'd at least look at her! Just so she would know he was thinking about her! But no. He didnt even look at her or Joey. This just made her think worse things about him. She hadnt noticed him glare at the girls before or she probably would have felt a little happier and guilty. But she was too busy with Joey. She swore quietly once Atem was out of sight, just letting out some anger. She let go of Joey's hand and walked, more like stomped into the hotel, thinkin angrily things about Atem.

Seto was checking all the controls, busying himself so he didnt have to think of his new horrible situation and how miserable he was. Maybe he made the wrong choice? No. This was no time for doubts. He made a decision and he had to stick to it. He opened the door and looked out at Ishizu. "You can come in here with me if you'd like..." He said, not like a suggestive invite like he gave Joey, or a friendly off, just a simple comment. He didnt want to go out there with Joey when they all arrived and he certainly didnt want Ishizu out with them.

Akiko kept her hand in his as they walked to his room. "I care about them too, I care about you to," she said with him. She paused for a moment as he opened the door but then added, "I love you." She felt like she had to keep saying it or else. Everyone was being pulled down and she felt like they had to stay afloat. All of her things were in Yugi's room- she really didn't go to her room the whole trip. "Heh, at least we can pack together," she said making sure she had everything and grabbing her bags. "I'm ready when you are," she said.

Atem reached his room and began packing up his things. He moved angerly throughout his room- using exaggerrated motions like throwing his bags or slamming things. She didn't even say anything, she was too involved with Joey- again. He stopped for a second as if he was spaced out. He kept playing that part in his mind over and over again. She was not the beautiful woman he gave his heart to any more. She would no longer be the woman he dreamt about at night. She was not his any more. But was she really? Was she ever? He felt so taken advantage of, so ashamed and embarassed about holding her dear when she obviously did not for him. And now he was left here, weak and broken. He couldn't take this, he felt sick to his stomach, he felt his body shake from being upset, and he felt his head heated from anger. He suddenly turned his head to the end table, finding anything on it. He took the alarm clock, since it was the closest thing, and threw it towards the opening to the bathroom. The alarm clock flew through the air and crashed into the mirror- instantly breaking it. "AHHHHHHHHH!" he shouted at it, just needing to release some anger. After breathing heavily and taking in what he had just done, he grabbed his things and made his way to the plane.

Joey followed Sam, like a dog who was lost. He stayed quiet and kept to himself as she swore silently. Once they made it to their rooms, he hesitated to enter his room- for no reason. He opened it up and packed his items up. It didn't take him long. He finished then waited outside of Sam's door. He just wanted to stay around her as much as he could.

Ishizu followed him into the cockpit and only nodded silently. She did not want to stay out there, near Joey, incase he wanted to try and fight for Seto.

Yugi nodded. "I love you too." He said softly. He didnt answer her otherwise when she said something. It was like his movements were sluggish and he wasnt in his right mind. He packed in silence and held his bags by the door, looking across the hall at Atem's door. He glanced back at Akiko when he heard her say something about being ready. "huh? oh yeah I'm ready. Here..." He said, taking some of her bags for her. He wasnt the strongest guy but he liked to feel like he could take care of her. They got to the plane. He looked around, seeing Mokuba sleeping on the back couch and Atem. Where were the others? He wondered. He gave their things to Seto's workers and sat down in the seats they sat in on the way up.

As Joey was waiting for Sam to get ready Mai approached him. She was dealing with a few problems herself and didnt get to talk to Joey too much. "Hey kiddo..." She said, noticing how upset he looked. She had her bags with her but she wasnt flying with them back to domino. She loved to travel and she had other places to be. She stayed too long in Japan. "I'm flying to Thailand in an hour." She said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Take care of yourself alright Joey?" She said.

Sam packed her things and then stood in the bathroom, staring into the mirror at her cold reflection. She started talking to herself. "He's just not who you thought he was.... he never loved you.... and you dont need him. so what if he meant everything to you? Life goes on, youre finally beginning to understand what Seto's been trying to tell you. You cant trust anyone but yourself.... Love and friendship, ha it doesnt exist. its all just smoke and mirrors, tricks meant to make you look bad. Now if you dont trust anyone, you'll never get hurt..." She walked back to her things and grabbed them.

Seto went back to busying himself with the controls. He glanced back at Ishizu. She looked so, out of place. And yet. everytime he thought of their relationship logically, she seemed perfect for him. He had only been with her before cause he was jealous of mai. In a way it was because of Joey that he was with Ishizu now. He walked over to her and kissed her forehead, running a hand through her long beautifull hair. He sighed, it just wasnt what he wanted. He leaned his head agaisnt hers and looked into her eyes. But he would make it work.

[[I was thinking of making Ishizu kind of.... not affectionate as the others were. I'm not sure how I see her, I know she cares about people but she isn't affectionate. I see her as being proper and almost stone like. I dunno, it's hard to explain...]]

Joey looked over to see Mai. Though he wasn't mad at her or anything, he couldn't manage to give her an enthusiastic smile like he usually would. He forced a small smiled as he looked at her. He saw her bags with her and thought she was going back with them. That would be good- he would have Mai and Sam. However, she told him that she was going to Thialand. He looked down a bit, disappointed. The only people he felt like he had connecttions to were Sam and Mai but now Mai was leaving him, again. Everyone seemed to be leaving him. She looked back at her when she placed her hand on his shoulder. "Yea, I will. You too ok Mai?" he said forcing again so she wouldn't be upset with him. He watched as she walked away, another person who was important was walking away from him. If he was in a stable state of mind, he would have realized that she would come back again and that this was just the way Mai was. But that's wasn't how he saw it. He continued waiting for Sam to come out. Joey soon heard her nearing the door. He perked up his ears and kept his eyes on the door. He was like a hurt and lost little puppy, waiting for someone to be his master. Sam was the closest to being one to him now.

Akiko packed in silence too, but constantly peeked at Yugi while doing so. She knew he wasn't in a mood to talk. With everything happening around them she didn't blame him. She was mentally exhausted and just needed some quiet time. She actually felt tired, though she had plenty of sleep. She felt like geting on the plane and just sleeping next to Yugi. She followed him to the plane, also seeing that nobody else was on it. Did Sam refuse to get on the same plane as Atem? She hoped not, that would just prove how horrible this was. She didn't even know where to sit, where was the neutral area? She looked at Yugi, hoping he would know where to go- where the right seats would be. Akiko just didn't want either of her friend's blaming them for 'siding' with the other. Ugh, how complicated things had to be.

Atem did not even look at Yugi and Akiko. He just kept to himself, sweltering in his own anger. His mind was still clouded with illogical ideas. The worse part was that he couldn't retreat to a place of safety or peace like he could when his soul was in the puzzle. There was no peace for him.

[[sorry, not sure what to type for Atem right now ^ ^']]

Ishizu stayed quiet and still as Seto did his business with the controls. She was disciplined and patient. She was also quiet to begin with really. She looked up at him when she was kissed on the forehead. She looked into Seto's eyes, still feeling blocked out. And it bothered her a little, but it was more important to her that he kept his promise. "Are you ok?" she asked calmly when he remained against her forehead. She wasn't sure what he was thinking.
