"We can deal with that if it comes up. I mean.. I guess I wouldn't want to deny him access to his children but... it would certainly make things harder." She sighed a bit and looked to the side. "I see no reason he'd come for them, with how it said he didn't want to have a family or settle down." She let a deep breath out. "So.. should we start toward the lagoon then? We'll need some time together things.." She tilted her head at him.

"It would... but I guess we'll just cross that bridge when we reach it." he said, more to himself than to her. "We should. It's probably best to prepare while we still can. Any idea where you'd want then den?" he asked, offering his ideas and getting up. He shook and started towards the lagoon until he remembered that Lunar might need help. He walked back to her side and flicked his ears nervously. He'd never been around pregnant wolves before and he had no idea what to do.

With some effort she got up. "No no its okay, if i need your help I'll let you know." She smiled at him. "But we might need to move a little slow." She nodded as she moved forward slowly. "I'm not all that sure.. leaves and stuff.. Oh, those big soft things the humans use when it gets cold out... we're reaching winter after all.." She lookd over at him. "The pups will need warm things to cuddle into." With him they headed into the woods... "The water shouldn't freeze... but maybe we can get some logs to block it for the pups until they know better.."

He was glad she was doing well but he still stayed close to her side, worrying. "Alright." he said and laughed, slowing his pace to match hers. It was nearing winter so leaves should be easy to find, they were all over the forest floor. As for the big soft things, humans were always leaving gifts in the shrines. He could always look there. He gulped at the mention of cuddling. Hadn't she said there would be lots of pups? In his mind he saw himself buried under hundreds and hundreds of mini-Lunar's, his nose poking out under a small paw. He calmed himself down by convincing himself that of course Lunar would help him if that were to happen.... When they reached the woods, he noted the places where the leaves didn't crunch as much, for gathering later, and look around for small logs he might be able to roll around. "We should probably have the den in a cave or an abandoned underground one." he said. Those provided the best cover and they didn't have enough time to dig up a den themselves.

Lunar nodded over at him and she smiled looking around. "Hm.. do you think there was on here before?" She asked him, sniffing at the ground. She padded around looking when she found something. "What about this...?" She nudged t it with her nose. It was in a ground at the base of a tree. "is this a den?" She looked back at him as he looked for logs.

((Lawl it's k, its not XD))
"Probably," he told her, only half-paying attention. He was craning his neck looking for the things they would need and trying to stay next to her at the same time. He turned to look at what she was nudging and smiled. "It's perfect." he said. The tree was rather large and there was a small entrance between two roots. "Stay here." he told her, before crawling in. The tunnel was several feet long and all the roots around it made sure it wouldn't collapse anytime soon. At the end was a spacious area and there was even a hidden back exit for emergencies. He sniffed around and was pleased to find that this den had been unoccupied for a while. He crawled back out and, shaking the dirt from his fur, said, "If you like it here, this den will be good." He gave her an encouraging nudge to go inside and see for herself.

Lunar blinked and waited for him. When he came back, she felt pleased that she had some something. She nodded and moved into the den. She looked around, it really wasn't much, well not somewhere, where she'd choose to live given the choice. But Jaden was pleased with it, so she was too. She sat down, and took in a breath. "So this is will I've been spending a good amount of time..." She seemed a little disappointed, she wasn't one who just sat around... She was going to miss being outside all the time.

He followed her in and sniffed around while she looked. They could always make it a bit roomier by digging some dirt out. He noticed her discontent and flicked an ear in acknowledgement, knowing that she liked to be up and about. "This is just for the pups. It's not permanent and we can go out whenever you want." he said, offering a small smile. He walked over to her and pressed his nose to hers. "Whatever makes you happy." he told her, and at that moment he knew it was true. He would do whatever she asked. He was disappointed that it had taken so much time, a mistake, and another male to make him realize it but as long as in the end, she loved him as much as he did her... the thought filled him with joy and he sweeped the room with his tail, making the top layer of dust scatter.

She looked over at him and then giggled feeling his wet nose on hers. "That sounds good." She was glad he could read her. She wouldn't mind staying in the area, but she didn't want to be stuck in a den forever. She giggled seeing his tail go. "dear, you might want to be careful with that weapon of yours" She laughed and nuzzled his muzzle.
"So now that we've found home... I guess all thats left is to personalize it to the needs of the pups." She wanted to make sure things were going to be safe for them.

"Oh," he said, realizing what he was doing. With a chuckle, he stilled his tail and settled for nuzzling her back affectionately. "Right," he nodded, and with another quick nuzzle, crawled back out the hole in seach of the closest item: leaves. He nosed some of the less dry ones and rolled them towards the tree with the den underneath. The rolling had at least gotten rid of most of the bugs and he shoved them through the hole and down the tunnel. He gathered them into a pile and looked around to see where it would be best to put it.

Lunar had made herself busy with some things in the den. When he came back she nodded to a small indent area. "Someone much have had babes of their own in here. It's a perfect set up." She smiled a little, glad there wasn't to much work for them to do really. She padded over to him and helped him nudge the leaves in. "It;s out of the way of the two holes so there's not real direct draft."

"Right," he said, starting to move the leaves in that direction. He was grateful for her help since the leaves were so easy to scatter and he made sure to get most of the stray ones. When that was done, he went out again and gathered the things he could, such as stray feathers and a few squares of fragile cloth from the human's dens ((napkins XD)), thinking it was what Lunar had mentioned before. He left them under a rock near the entrance and left, coming back with a small log. He rolled it towards the hole, and, unsure of what to do with it, he left it there, to block the wind if nothing else and went inside with the other items, placing them in the pile of leaves. By then it was late, and he padded over to Lunars side and laid down. It was strange to sleep where he couldn't see the sky but he didn't want to leave her and he pressed closer to her side.

Lunar had already been half sleep. She was getting tired early these days, and jsut like him found it weird to be sleeping where they were. It would take a little getting used to for sure, but it also had its benefits she was sure... rain and snow had no place in there. She nestled into him and yawned. "Thank you so much for all your help hunnie." She mumbled sleepily, before she fell back alseep.
