Extracting two pennies from the bottom of her purse, Lily handed them over, "I'll pay for the bus fare and food then to keep it equal."
Touring a zoo would probably feel less intimidating since they wouldn't be forced to sit in front of one another for whatever interrogation they could think of. With that in mind, Lily gleefully bounded out the door and lead the way to the bus stop, "It shouldn't take more than 20 minutes. Probably closer to ten if there's no traffic. It's an express bus on this route here."

[ I had the worse week ever. It was so. . .so bad. Uhg. Again I am sorry for delay but last week sucked balls. I'm all good now though! back to steady posts unless you ran off on me which I can understand totally why. ]
Piptoll nodded several times with a large grin plastered across her face. She took the two cents and added to the change buried away in her deep pockets. She squeaked in pain she retracting her hand from her pocket quickly after. She had pricked her finger on something and the p***k was now bleeding. Sticking her finger into her mouth to stop further bleeding she followed close behind Lily. She hoped Lily wouldn't get all worried about her tiny wound. Piptoll was always making the mistake of cramming her hand into her pockets carelessly. There was sharp objects in there she had to be more careful! She wasn't going to try and explain what was hiding in her pockets if Lily asked, and thus was why she hoped Lily wouldn't worry. It would be nice if Lily didn't even noticed Piptoll's small accident.
Removing the finger from her mouth she rubbed her tiny wound. "Thats not far at all! Ow. I can't wait to see the aquarium. Those tasy little sea creatures. . .mmmm~" Forget all the other animals in the zoo. Piptoll just wanted to see the fish. The tasty exotic little fishies.

((I'm sorry you had such a hard time D: *hugs* Glad its getting better at least <3
I was so tempted to make Lily afraid of blood, but decided I didn't want her to be too much of a spaz.. though it would be fun.. but shouldn't.. but.. >.<))
"Perhaps we should save the acquarium for last then," Lily chuckled as they boarded the bus, "Probably won't be able to pry you away long enough to check out the other animals." Much less get to the food part, though she withheld commentation on that.
Peering back at her date, Lily blinked in surprise, "Hurt yourself?" She shuffled through her clutch and produced a bandaid, "I keep two on me just in case. Probably don't want to get infected or anything."
The bus trudged along, and Lily turned her attention to the windows. They were approaching the stop closest to the zoo, so she pulled the cord to announce their will to stop. After stepping off, the duo meandered up towards the entrance where to buy their entrance tickets, "Can't wait to see the big kitties."

Taking the bandaid Piptoll looked at it curiously. She had some of that cool liquid sealer waiting under rock; but by the time she got home she wouldn't need to protect her wound. "The fish are the coolest. The way they elegantly glide through the water." She stared out the window as she blindly stuck the bandaid on lopsidedly. She really liked fish, that was for sure. It would be a good idea to view them last cause there was no way she could leave once in there. Not till closing. Stepping off the bus she felt a bit sick after the ride. She was use to the bumping car rides. She didn't use a car so that was pretty much her first time ever in something like it.
"Do you take the bus often? I sure. . .don't like it. It kind of stunk in there. . ." She wasn't going to say what it smelled like. Lily probably got a good nasty wiff herself. That man behind them sure had packing in the spicy food at sometime.

"Well, the bus is cheap compared to cars these days. Insurance and gas and whatnot." Lily shrugged, "I've gotten used to public transportation. This time was probably not very good air circulation."
Lily paused to idly watch the bandaid find a crooked place on the finger, chuckling to herself. Piptoll seemed to be the kind to space out, at least when fish came up. After the tickets were paid for, Lily followed the pathway and held up the map she picked up at the gate, "Where shall we head to first? Oh, we should go feed the lorakeets too. That's always fun, so long as you make sure not to be standing under them."

[ I hate life 3 and men. Sorry for being a douche and not posting forever, again. How was your Halloween? Mine sucked, least I didn't have fun. ]
Insurance and gas? Buying gas was a waste of money. Why didn't people just go mine their own gas? Like they did out in space. That was the smart way to do it! So, the smell state of the bus was just crappy today. She still rather just walk. Good exercise! Nothing like keeping fit. She had seen a lot of people go down hill and lose control of their bodies. Some of it was very scary. Becoming obese scared the crap out of her.
Piptoll looked at Lily a little confused. What on Earth were Lorakeets? What happened to the simple animals, tigers lions and bears. [oh my] "Uh, what are they. . .what happens if you stand under them?" Would they crush you or something? She rather not get crushed. Either would it be cool if they flung poo like those monkey's she heard about.

((Sorry to hear its not going well D: But Halloween was fine, had my little brother go hunt candies for me >3))
Lily stared at Piptoll for an extra moment before giving a short laugh, "You've been to a zoo but haven't been to the birds? Lets hit there first then." She chirped, beginning to feel energized with the outing. Flouncing ahead, Lily pointed their location on the map, pulling Piptoll alongside her.
The commotion of fluttering wings and the occassional squeak of a bird announced their arrival to the section. She bought two small cups of 'nectar', though she knew it was simple juice, and handed one to Piptoll, "Here."
Leading the way in, they found themselves on a short path surrounded by vegetation. Tall trees and a little covered area in the middle decorated the area, and a wave of colorful birds, greens and reds and oranges all twittered here and there, "Hold out your cup a bit." Lily instructed, her own hand extending towards two of the birds perched on the short wooden fence. The birds gave her a curious tilt of the head before greed overtook them and they leaped onto her hand, scrambling to get a drink. Grinning, Lily looked up at Piptoll, "They're used to humans so we're allowed to buy juice to feed them with. You can get a whole swarm to land on you too."

[ hehe reaping the rewards from another. Nice. ]
Piptoll was right behind Lily wondering what was in store for them down the bushy path. She rather not have a lion in her lap, this wasn't hands with the dangerous animals was it? When she saw the birds fluttering over head she knew it was just a bird sanctuary. Piptoll didn't really like birds. . .
being handed the nectar she didn't know what it was for. It looked kind of tasty, so she took a drink just as she saw Lily demonstrating it was for the birds. Gulping down the potent juice she made a sour face. "Oh. . .it's for them." Birds drank stuff? She thought they just ate worms. . .and stuff. She kept her cup close not really wanting a flock of birds crowding her. She was already done with the birds. One was sitting perched on a branch new Piptoll trying to get friendly but Piptoll just glared at it. "Watch out! Their peck your eyes out!"
