"Well, you could always make an appointment to come in with some idea, see what we can come up with," Odin said with a little shrug. He wanted as much business as possible over the next few months, what with his struggle for rent and his second job. "A'course we don't charge for those."

"I might. Seems reasonable to me. Might see if my cousin's interested too. Charlene could probably use some more ink." he commented idly, thinking of the fading tattoos on the woman's arms. He also thought of Bailey and the talk of wanting a tattoo when he was old enough as well. Maybe, just maybe one day.

"Alright. Well..." and Odin stepped behind the front desk, flipping through an appointment book, "I'm actually open next Thursday for an hour, if you wanna bring your cousin with you." He could snag lunch some other time.

"Fine by me. So long as Charlene doesn't have a complete personality overhaul before then and decide to make plans for that day - which I highly doubt she will - we should be free. We might have to have Bailey babysit his brothers though." the man mused, trying to make a mental plan for that date. "I'll try to have some sort of idea thought up by then."

"Alright, then," Odin said, scribbling something down in a book and then filling out a card for Charlie. "See you then."
---
Odin sat, waiting for Charlie the following Thursday. He was eating what lunch he could before they showed up, and after tattooing another damnable tribal tramp stamp. His wrist tattoo was visible now, no arm bands! ...holy crap, was that a man with an erection on a many-legged grey horse?
Why, yes. Yes it was.

About that time, the man came strolling in. Today Charlie wore a black leather vest and matching pants instead of a regular shirt. That way, if asked, he'd be able to just show his previous work in case something was needed to go along with it.
Dartie was with him today, her hair only differing from Charlie's in its larger size and bluish color. She wore a sleeveless zip up black vinyl tank top with a zipper up the middle. It showed her tattooed abs and biceps. She had brought along a black blazer to wear over top of the whole mess but figured she'd probably have to show the work necessary for touch-ups at some point, so the tank was necessary.
When together, the two looked rather different - almost drastically. Yet one could still see a rather uncanny resemblance between the two that most would say ranked them as closer relations than cousins.
"Hallo Odin. This is my cousin, Charlene." Charlie greeted the man, smiling somewhat.
"Dartsmoore." she corrected, hitting him on the arm.

"Dartsmoore, got it," Odin said around his chipotle chicken sandwich. god bless Panera Bread. He shook the hands of both visitors (after wiping it off) and gestured for them to join him at his station. He'd wheeled over two more chairs, one painted with seaweed and seahorses and the other with rocks and a rickety treasure chest. Spread on his desk were art books, a few sheets of Flash, and massive amounts of tracing paper.
"So. Any ideas yet?"

"Absolutely none." Dartie said calmly, taking the rock painted chair and immediately beginning to browse some of the books. "The suggestion of getting the names of my sons or something to represent them was brought up, but we shall have to see."
Charlie smiled and shrugged, taking the other chair. "I looked a bit but haven't completely decided what I'd like yet. I did get to look up that artist you mentioned - Mucha - and his stuff was wonderful."

"Yeah, he's pretty awesome," Odin smiled, and then pushed a book toward Charlie, "I actually pulled out a book of his stuff for you, but what're you thinking of getting?"

"No idea. I'm probably getting something on my arms or adding to what I've got on my back." he answered, leafing through the book that he'd been pointed towards.
Meanwhile, Dartsmoore was still quietly perusing the volume she'd picked up and was thinking over the artists she knew as well.

Odin just nodded and kicked back. "Well, tell me if you come up with somethin'."

"I do not know at all, no." he said, shaking his head, "I think I shall get something on my bicep but that's all I know."
Dartie just nodded her head in confirmation. "Mine would be on my back, to be sure, but that's all I know."

"Alright well. Are we looking for something artsy or modern? Or something with meaning?" Odin asked, itching one corner of his beard.

"Pfft, modern. That translates to 's**t' and don't you deny it." Dartie commented, flipping through the book a bit more. "People get crappy things in crappy places and think its worth showing off."
Charlie glanced over at his cousin at that point. "Don't yours count as modern?"
At that point she gave him a look of boredom, "Anything I've got either has significance, being the symbol for something or another, or was done by a friend at a very young age when I wasn't completely in my own head. I've been wanting to get something done to fix them for years." she grumbled that last bit, rolling her eyes at the thought of how stupid she'd been at the age of sixteen.
"I'd get that done now but I am quite picky with tattoo artists after the experiences of my youth and won't go for something people will be seeing a lot of until I'm sure of the artist. Nothing against you personally but I've had some bad business with others in my time."
"Myself, I think I want something artsy. I haven't got anything of meaning to get." Charlie answered, smiling at Odin.

"Yeah, I getcha," Odin nodded, "You definitely wanna trust whoever's jabbin' ya with ink-colored needles. Here. Check this." And he handed over a picture book labeled Odin and simply that. "And if it's disease you're scared of, our inspection notice is behind the desk, and you can see our sonic cleaner in the next room over. Piercing room."
And then he turned his attentions back to Charlie. "Artsy? Like Mucha-artsy, portrait-artsy, or Odin-drawn-artsy?"
