"We have fish and birds in the court yard and if you can sit in the feild wild animals come there too."
she smiled brightly cocking her head to the side while watching Bella trying out noses,
"Most of the time people with colds or runny noses dont taste things the same way the normally do."
then she let go of her pet and said
"Okay sandy get the fellas outa here."
as told the sandy colored critter started rounding up the others and nudgeing them along so they could all walk easier.
"come on, Cassie is in the kitchen."
the sweet smell of bakeing brownies wafted t0ward them now

"Oooh! Nummies!" Alice said excitedly, bouncing a little on her toes and following Fiona into the house more.
Bella had just settled on a temporary nose - one like the mongeese she saw running around had. Immediately she was assaulted with something she'd never experienced before - the smell of brownies.
"Oh Oh! What is thaaat?" she wondered aloud in an excited tone.

Fiona bounced along as well
"thats BROWNIES!"
she nearly squeeled in excitement. they had made them for their visit and some for Cassies boss who had gone home earlier that morning.
she held the door to the kitchen open and said
"Cassie! Meet Bella!"
Cassie turned for the pan of brownies she was cutting into neat squares
"Hello Bella,"
she paused a moment and looked at her nose then said
"Welcome, hi Alice."
she added with a little wave to the child

Alice bounced over to investigate the pan almost instantly. "Hihi Cassie. Those look nummy." the child told her with a huuuuuuuge smile. Num num nummies!
Bella wandered over and raised her eyebrows at the strange pan. "Those do look nice."

Cassie smiled and said
"Im glad you two think so, got to let them cool a little longer before we can eat them though."
Fiona bounced around the kitchen island and took a spoon she had kept for the both of their guests
"I saved some batter for you to try!"
she offered each a spoon

Bella grinned at the spoon, utterly loving its shape. Spoons amused her very much.
"Ooooooooh! Batter!" Alice said, not totally sure what it was but totally interested in trying some. "Is it goooood?" she asked, taking the spoon.

fiona giggled
"Yeah its good."
she handed them over and said
"Its the brownie mix before its cooked."
cassie was started to pulled the brownies out and put them onto a plate to cool faster so they could eat, then a thought struck her
"Your not allergic to eggs or anything are you?"

Alice blinked. "What's allergic mean?"
Bella laughed, she knew the answer to this! "It means you can't eat something or it'll make you sick. Your daddy had you checked for that already." and then to Cassie she said "Ali's not allergic to anything and neither am I."

Cassie smiled releaved, she would hate if they couldnt try the treats
"Okay good."
Fiona watched them egerly wating to see if they liked it or not. her eyes twinckled a little with excitment

Alice tried her first spoonful of brownie mix and her chubby cheeked, bucktoothed little smile widened ooooooooooh so much.
Bella took a much less enthusiastic taste. She tasted the stuff in her mouth for a few moments and was quite intrigued by the change in how strong the taste was with a nose, but made no comment other than 'Nice. This stuff is good.'

Bella was excited to try them. "Mr. Harriet's been showing me how to cook and bake lately, but we haven't gotten to brownies yet. They seem like lots of fun, though."
Alice meanwhile, had become interested in looking about for another fuzzy critter to cuddle. "Where did all of the animools go?"

"Brownies are one fo the easier things to bake to me. Dont have to worry about it not riseing or anything like that."
Fiona took Alices hand,
"They are out in the court yard probly, lets go look."
she pulled the smaller Herald along toward the middle of the house

Bella grinned at that thought. "Waiting for things to rise is weird."
Alice was happily following her friend and quite eager to see the court and all of the animals.

Cassie smiled a little, she had warmed up to Alice better than she had hatty, but that was normal for her.
"Come sit,"
she said takeing the plate of cooling brownies to put on the table
"Tell me about what you've cooked?"
Fiona opened the sliding door and they stepped out into the grassy courtyard. there was a pound and fountain in one corner, a tree in another and in the middle were all the critters, sunbathing
