He nodded in agreement. It had been a long time that he’d met someone who he could relate to. Mbaya had been that person, long ago, but their paths had taken them different turns. Mbaya was a mystery to him now, a part of his past that he regretted more deeply than anything. She’d been the mother of his children – children whom he’d all but neglected. She’d made him seem a hypocrite after all the preaching about the importance of family.

It was something he regretted more than anything else.

One thing that was different about Koka and him, however, was the need for power. Hakan wanted power, wanted strength, but he wanted it in the form of his own inner strength, the strength of being a rogue; not belonging to anyone or anyplace. He had no interest in ruling or having any other under his power. He liked to be by himself too much. However, he didn’t mind helping others achieve such, especially if he considered them allies.

Typical warrior Hakan would follow his orders.

Her paw hit the side of his muzzle and he laughed, seemingly pleased with her reaction. Yes, she’d be a fun female to be around. He’d have to keep alert with her at his side. “Interesting is one word for it.” He replied. “Very well then. We’re temporary allies from this moment onwards.” He bowed his head a little and turned his eyes up towards her.

“Life is going to get a little bit more interesting, I think.”

((Fin? I'm really looking forward to plot between these two x3 ))
