-He sucked in a swift breath, trying hard to catch himself and her before the full effects could occur. But he was too late, he'd upset her. And softly he frowned, quite dissapointed in himself and frusterated with the situation.-
"It is just because you didn't know." -He tried to insist, to reassure, his paw streching out to rest lightly against her paw that still flowed with blood.- "It's nothing to be ashamed of. If noone ever taught you, why would you know?" -He actually wondered now if this goddess was hermitous in a way... for surely if not she'd have seen the birthing of children before. But he kept his thoughts to himself, instead calling out to her softly.-
"It is my domain to help people and make them happy, not mislead them and lie. I promise it is the truth. I promise I can show you, if you just give me the chance."

The thing that probably startled Sanaa the most was not his reassurance or the idea that since she didn't know biology well she might not know of this strange ability of creation, it was the fact that he touched her. It was that fact that made her anger dissolve like smoke on the wind, her face clearing as she glanced at him with wide eyes.
In her waking memory, she could scarce remember the last time someone had touched her. The goddess had never been a creature of flesh and living matter... her followers were but pieces in the great cog that ran her creations and as obvious, she had never been of a mind to have a male in her life either. Her brows drew together as she studied him thoughtfully, though in a kinder light this time, her mind calculating a thousand things at once.
"You will explain to me how this thing is done, then, and show me how I might do it as well?" She said with a bit of a petulant tone, as though to have him reassure her that, yes, he was not misguiding her. To have her life's work finally realized... it was almost too good to be true!

-Relief flooded over him, pulling forth another soft smile despite being oblivious to what had changed the mood so drastically. It didn't matter now, all that mattered was that he was no longer fumbling. Nothing frusterated him more then when his attempts to help stumbled and backfired.
Standing still and proud under her inspection, his voice rose cheesy perhaps, but obviously sincere.- "I promise. And if I lie you're free to send every nasty god you can find after me."
-Maybe he should have thought that through, barring the chance that it might not work, but with 20 or more children running about the savannah just in this past few generations, luck and chance were probably on his side. He WAS pretty good at making babies.-

Sanaa hummed softly as she rose up, stretched out her legs to feel this strange newness of her own biology. She'd never noticed it before... the way the blood flowed, the fur grew from the skin, the feathers folding neatly together, the fluids sloshing around inside... It was almost disgusting to her, who worked with clean, neat mechanicals, but she put that aside.
Flipping her wings neatly closed, one on top of the others, she eyed him with a look of an older woman chastising a younger man.
"If this doesn't work and you've lied to me, it won't be other nasty gods you'll need to deal with. It'll be me, and I dare say that's quite enough." She said with a half smile, her limbs flexing as she dug her razor claws into the earth.

-Oh he did believe her of her threat, eyeing her larger body for another moment. Who in fact knew what that golden arm could do to him.
He was however young and proud, so he believed his words. A silently he promised himself that he'd help her with this mission of hers. No matter how long it took, as long as she allowed him, he'd help her. Nodding solemnly, smile soft, he promised out loud as well.- "It's a deal then."
-Lifting himself to stand as well, eyes glancing once more to the village with fleeting interest he shifted softly, purring lightly under his breath.- "Would you like to go back to your home? Or would you prefer to prepare yourself first and set up a later date for me to come?"
-It was strange trying to set up a tryst in such a way. But then he supposed it wasn't some simple tryst. This was a grand venture of creation.-

The golden lioness waved a paw.
"Now would be best to start, unless you have prior plans. My mountain will do fine. My den has everything I need in it, and I suppose you might actually like looking about it. If you wanted, you could even take a piece or two, as a sort of gift."
Lifting her head, she thought of her home and felt the sensation of the world slipping away around her. While she might enjoy flight more, there was something to be said about being able to suddenly appear anywhere she liked. Made things much quicker.
Once at the lip of her cave, she padded inside to wait for Limbuko to join her.

-Her den then. He watched as the golden female faded, ears popping forward in surprise. Crap! When was the last time he'd teleported someplace? Let alone someplace he didn't know? His eyes searched frantically for a trace of her for a long moment, but once he'd calmed he closed his eyes softly, focusing on her image and the feeling of her godly presence. Maybe that would do...?
His effort was rewarded as he felt the cool breeze of the mountains ruffle his feathers, eyes opening to search for the female whose scent hung so heavily about. It was an impressive place, really it was. And he could only imagine it'd be more so once inside.
Pausing... he hoped for a moment that she would be a good sport, invisioning bad outcomes to requests such as "I need to put 'this' in 'there'". But she was a woman of science and craft was she not? Hopefully their lesson would go without a hitch.
Taking a deep breath, the lilac god pushed himself into the den with a step of soft determination. If ever there was a time, now was it to work his magic.
(We can fade here if you like. XD Or continue a few more, up to you doll heart )
