"Hmmmm....Sexy Nyxy....I like..." he said, giving a fangy grin to her, chuckling over coming up with it, but if she could call him Sammy Boy, he could come up with a cute nickname for her.

When he called her Nyxy she stiffened and flexed her claws into the soil of the river bank while her furr puffed up and her wings spread out slightly, it was one name that she really wasn't all that fond of and one that, that human seemed to like to use.
Eyes narrowing slightly she said in a low voice, "you're lucky your cute...", it was almost a hiss but not quiet all the same.

"Hehe, so I have been told..." he chuckled, using his front paw to scratch an itch under his chin. He saw her get tense and claw at the ground when he called her Nyxy, and he found it highly amusing, stowing that information for the future to say it just to get a rise out of her.

Nyx rolled her eyes at Samael before stretching out her paws in front of her and spreading her wings as she stretched her back this way and that. Hearing another splash from the stream Nyx's head quickly turned in the direction of the sound and she licked her lips.

He looked over to the water and saw the fish splashing about, probably heading upstream to spawn, "Hungry I take it?" he asked casually, laying on his side in a nonchalant manner.

She looked back at Samael and gave him a curious look. Then with a bit of a sly grin spread across her features as she replied, "well I guess that really depends... is that your way of asking me to dinner?"

"Hmmm...perhaps....if you were accepting my invitation..." he said, laying his head down and closing his eyes, but a small smile on his face.

"Hmm..." she said cocking her head to the side ever so slightly as if to think. "Well I guess that all depends on what's on the menu..." she finally replied after a few moments. She liked this Samael, he wasn't like anyone else she'd ever met before, well not that she remembered many, but that wasn't the point.

"Hmmmm...perhaps some catfish, some oysters and crawdads." he suggested, peeking an eye open and looking to her. His sharply finned tail tapped against the ground, knowing it would be easy enough to catch.

Quirking a brow slightly at the tapping tail she walked around him again for a moment pondering. "Well..." she began as she circled behind him her tail brushing up against him accidentally, "I guess, if there was an invitation out there to accept I would be inclined to accept it." As she said this she sat down in front of him a bit closer this time.

His tail flicked against hers lightly and he smiled as he closed his eyes again, "Then it would be my honor to have dinner with a beautiful demoness like yourself today." he said as he sat himself up.

She couldn't help but laugh slightly, her laugh having the slightest of purrs to it. "Well then sounds like a date..." she replied in a light teasing way. Then a bit more seriously, "I better go freshen myself up then... might I ask what time and where to meet you Sammy Boy?"

"Hmmm...meet me where the river is calm, should be just south of hear, when the sun is close to setting. I will be there." he said, sitting up and stretching and then standing up fully. "Until then..." he bowed his head to her and then made his way off.

"Until then..." Nyx agreed and then turned and headed into the bushes and headed her way to her little oasis she called home. In reality it was nothing more then a small cove off of the river a little ways up the river where there were stones that made also a little cave, the rocks blocking off a small section of the river so the water was calm and the place where she called home.
When she was home she bathed herself until her coat was glistening in the fading light of the day. As she prepared to head down the river to where she was to meet with Samael, the handsome dark demonic elder she met earlier that day she wondered if she should bring anything.
Unable to think of anything to bring she headed out of her cave and followed the river down to where the river became calm.
