He glanced down at his six, and grinned triumphantly. "I AM lucky tonight!" He returned his attention to Dwayne. "It's this big snake thing. Only it's eating its own tail? And it has feathers. It's kind of like Mr. Q," He grinned, "And I think I'm one of the best amateur artists in the city!" He looked pleased with himself.
"I hope the rain hasn't washed it away. It was a good painting! I'm gonna go check on it!" He walked over to the window and slipped out of it (quite a bit less dramatically, and checked on his picture. It had been shielded by the fire escape up above. "Sweet, It's alright!" He motioned for them to come look. "Come see!"

Dwayne, who was the only one of the three who really understood Graff' culture, got up and followed the boy to the window. He leaned out and whistled approvingly at the wall.
"That's pretty good," he said. "You should come meet my buds some time."
He made his way back across the room and regarded the board. Fish and Sunshine did the same. Finally, Sunshine let out a long sigh. "This isn't nearly as interesting as I thought it would be," he conceded. "Let's do something else." He looked over at the kid. "You want to hang with us?" he asked.
Poseidon burbled an objection. Fish bit his lip. It would be easier to just let the kid stay than to explain why he couldn't.

Quinn looked at Dwayne with big eyes. "Really?" He exclaimed, "Thank you so much!" He seemed ecstatic even at just the mild complement. He strode back to the other side of the room in time to hear Sunshine's comment. Smugly, he poked at his pieces on the board.
"You're just mad because I'm winning," he giggled jokingly, "And I'm a kid," He paused at Sunshine's question. "I- I dunno." NO! "Hm. My Mom might worry, but-" NO! "-She's not gonna get home till like, three in the morning, and she'll-" NO! "Go straight to sleep anyway, and-" I SAID NO, BOY! "And you guy seem nice," NO THEY DON'T. "So yah. I'll stay!" Are you doing this just out of spite? Sort of. What did I do to deserve this? Eurghm... I dunno! Well, don't sound so chipper about betraying me.
