This guy knew Mom? Oh oh.
Yakasa walked over to Nully, whispering kinda loud/soft. "He knows MOM! This is not good. What'd we tell him?"
The cub looked back at the older lion, peering at him to try to make him intimidated. (Not that it'd work but...)
"If you know my mom....she's gonna be so mad at you. You made me dusty." Oh yes, the phoenix-winged cub was going to attempt a sympathy vote, he hoped.

Nullpunkt smirked.
"Yah! Mommy 'n' Big Brother'll beat you up!"
The male surveyed the two, one eye brow going up, and snorted.
"Dust never hurt anybody, so stop whining."

Yakasa shook his head, warningly. "You don't know Mom then. She doesn't like dust."
The cub hissed a bit, frowning. "Yep, but you're gonna get beated up for being mean to us. Plus...you scared away the fishies!" The dark-pelted cub pounced on the bigger lion's tail, attempting to bite it in frustration.
The downturn of Yakasa's day; the fish had all scattered away.

The male lifted his tail, watching Yakasa attack his tail, looking utterly amused.
"It's just fish. Why would you want to eat that?"
Nullpunkt rolled her eyes.
"I like sucking on fish heads for one...."
More than the adult needed.

"Mom likes fish. She's happy when we bringed them home." Yakasa attempted to continue to pounce the older lion's tail, batting at it happily as he did.
"And bring your tail back down here...I's playing with it!" he growled back, the young lion completely content with pouncing the appendage for the moment.
"...how do you know Mom anyways? You would have known that she don't like dust then." he questioned, a paw lazily batting at his hind legs.

The risen tail lowered some for Yakasa to play with, red eyes carefully examining the duo before he stretched.
"I'm your uncle. I just didn't grow up with your mom."
Nully's mouth made a little 'oh', and she pawed Yakasa.

Yakasa took this new information in...before pouncing the new tail happily.
"Oh....okay! I'm Yakasa, nice to meetcha!" The cub playfully stretched and pounced the new lion's tail, asking a lot of questions along the way.
"So...what's your name? Where'd you live? Why you not grow up with mom? Do you have super scare-away-fish powers? Why is your head shaped like a fish fin?"
A mile a minute and still curious as ever.

"My name is Shupavu, I'm just THAT powerful, and my head is not fin shaped."
He snorted.
"Don't you know manners, kid?"
He studied the wing marked ball of fluff before he bent and lifted him by the ruff, grunting with a mouth full of Yakasa.
"Where's your Grandma?"

"Hey, I know manners. I just haven't...exactly done all of them yet?" he hoped that would satisfy the older lion but was confused when he was picked up into his maw.
"Hey! Put me down, I need to catch fishies for Momma! She's already gonna be mad cause I'm dirty...."
"And, I donna where Grandma is. Ask Nully, I haven't seen Grandma yet."

Nully shrugged.
"Don't know either."
Shupavu grunted, but moved, motioning at Nullpunkt to lead, and ignoring the fish comment a bit.
"Fish can wait." He said, muffled again.
Nullpunkt rolled her eyes-- he was no fun! --and walked for home.
This new guy sucked.
