Shah wasn't exactly encouraged by the names she gave him even if she had answered his question. That was a lot of people...Shah would never have expected that Krisha was from such a big family. To be honest, he was some what amused by the fact. Which sibling had what trait and who had Krisha taken after if she had taken after any of them? What was it like growing up with such a big family? And then she said that he didn't have to worry and that made him feel a little worst then he had before. This woman could read minds but then again Shah had a feeling it wasn't hard to guess that he had been worried. Still, he wasn't pleased with Krisha knowing that he had been. Talk about pride and an ego.
And she kept going, she went ahead and tried to dispose of his worry through the offer of food. Shah found this cute, he smiled at her. A smile that held a little bit of laughter to it, one that said "That's funny. You're too cute..."
Shah leaned in gently, his hand lifting up and his fingers gracing her cheek momentarily as he placed a gentle kiss upon her other cheek. It had been a long time, too long. Shah had no idea what was going to happen from here on out.
"I'm not hungry." Shah said, removing his hand and shrugging but just as he did so his stomach released a protest that could be heard from the heavens. Shah paused and frowned. "Traitor." He muttered downward.

Sylas smiled as he walked up closer to the young ones. "You are going to HAVE to tell me who all these people are. I don't know like...any of them. I know Krisha, but that's all. I didn't know your family was THIS big!" he said smiling.
He then bent down to the ground and started playing and pulling on the grass there, tugging at it bit by bit. He smiled as he began to see even more children come by. Kira had a HUGE family he came to realize. And this family was going to be one of the places where he spent a lot of time. Hopefully they wouldn't have any problems. Sylas hoped they wouldn't anyways. He waited for a reply.

Kira looked back at sylas. "I'll have to introduce you all at dinner. They keep running around so much i can't even get them straight." She said with a laugh. It was true, she didn't know Amos from Zephyr yet, and she had yet to even meet the others.
Still... With the large amount of children preoccupied otherwise, it would be far easier to introduce everyone. "You know, I think the red haired lady was looking for you." While the children looked bemused at this, they did run over to her. It was slightly funny to watch, the fox and the wolf pulling the other boy along while he yelled something along the lines of 'no, not the red menace!'
_______
Jin stared at the oncoming children. Atleast it would be a distraction from the hunger. Why, did she have to talk about the tempura? He inwardly groaned as his stomach gave a large growl.
Hmm... He grinned. The children provided the perect out. "So, it's training time already is it?" He said, 'lovingly' scooping the the young ones up into a tight hold. "Come on serre, I know the perfect spot for it!." With that, he ran head long into the bushes, hoping she'd follow. _______________
Krisha chuckled at his stomachs protest. "Come on, the pantry's fully stocked." The blue haired girl grabbed his hand and pulled him with her. Numari would buy far more food than they would need, so it wouldn't matter if he ate all of it. Come to think of it, he most likely would.
It would be interesting to see the look his face gave, when he did. Quite enjoyable She was caught up in what he would say when he saw the room size 'pantry' that she didn't notice kira, who was a bit far off from the cave.
When she did see it, kira's growth would be a shock at best, but for now, she was blissfully unaware. So, the girl simply opened the door over the cave and walked in, slightly pulling the man behind her along. Krisha veered to the left and moved into a hall that faintly glowed with the homey smells coming from it. The kitchen, the source of the smells, was at the end. She stopped just in front of a normal door, mounted on a hole in the wall.
"Well... Go on in. We're about to restock anyway."

Sylas looked puzzled at Kira. "What red haired lady are you talking about?" he said. He didn't know what in the world she could be talking about. He looked around, trying to see if he could find a red haired lady, but to no avail. Who knew what she was talking about.
He then watched as all the children began to run around getting all excited for foot and different things that were going on. The entire time, he couldn't stop thinking about the red haired lady. Who was she? He wondered...

"You sound as if I'm going to eat everything." Shah said with a small laugh, he probably would. He didn't understand why she had tugged him along, what was so fascinating about a fully stocked pantry? Sure that meant food to eat but nothing that needed an urgent tug. Shah couldn't help but wonder why she had acted as she did. Was she waiting for something to happen? Was there something inside the pantry? Was she planning something?
Shah stared at Krisha for a few moments, giving her a look as if he was trying to solve a puzzle, which he was. Shah was so sure that Krisha had planned something, so sure that there was something within the pantry that he was almost reluctant to open it.
Almost.
Shah shunned his worry and placed his hand on the doors knob. The warmth and scents being emitted from the kitchen had set his stomach off into an angry fit. Growling and cramping in protest, begging to take a bite out of anything edible. But, along with his stomachs mosh pit, the warmth and homey feel had also made Shah cautious. He wasn't used to how secure the area felt. How lively it was and how often Krisha assured him that everything would be fine. It was right, it wasn't normal. It wasn't Shah's normal. He gave Krisha another cautious glance, doubting for a brief moment. Hesitating for just a second.
He pulled the door open a little harder then he had intended. It was dark within but Shah could see the tiny rope within that would spark light. He walked in, grasped the rope and tugged. The pantry lite up with light and Shah's tail, which had been swaying cautiously, grew stiff in surprise.
Wall to wall there was food. Boxed, canned, bagged and wrapped. He blinked a few times, he had never seen so much food in one place. Shah flirted for food, persuaded for food, it was only through his charm and lies that he got a meal. And yet, here he was surrounded with it without so much as an effort.
"Restock?" Shah said, repeating that single word. "I don't think you can fit anything else in here." He said as his eyes scanned over everything again. His stomach growled again, begging for him to feast but he didn't. He stood there, staring at it all, his tail swaying in cautiousness yet again.

Krisha deliberately looked the other way at his cautiousness. It was to be expected, to an extent. "Which is why," She said, gesturing at the inside of the pantry, "You are allowed to eat to your hearts content. We actually need to make room for Numari's purchases" Her 'aunt' always went over board, buying everything edible that she could. She wasn't complaining though, she loved her cooking.
Her methods of cooking though, were sometimes a little odd. Then again, Fae magic was rarely ever normal. You would hardly expect a snake fairy to bend towards cooking though.
Still, it was a good thing she did. They couldn't exactly live off snack food.
"Numari, you'll meet her soon, is probably going to create a feast tonight. Rin will make dessert though, and Emilie will make some of her famous drinks. You might want to save room for it too." A small for-warning, but she knew even if he ate the whole thing he'd still have room.

Shah wondered if this Numari woman was as good of a cook as Krisha said. He didn't want to have such high expectations that he was disappointed because a disappointed Shah wasn't a good Shah. He decided to play along with Krisha's words, he doubted this woman's skill. After all, who's to say that all this food was to be cooked. From what he saw so far a majority of it was snack food aside from the fruits and vegetables. Still, the pantry continued down a narrow path and from what Shah's nose could tell, not everything down there was snack food.
Shah took her offer to stuff his face in silence, he glanced at her before continuing down the narrow path. He had caught the scent as she spoke and his stomach wasn't going to be ignored any longer. As he slipped further down the path he felt the temperature drop to a welcoming cold. Shah had always preferred colder temperatures, it calmed his nerves. He wasn't to the very end but close enough that the area resembled a fridge. Rawer food sat upon shelves, waiting for their turn to be spiced and diced. Shah found the meats quick enough.
Normally he wasn't too picky with what he ate but considering the wide variety of food, Shah felt he could give himself the pleasure. He sniffed around and tried to decide but found that he couldn't. Beef, pork or lamb? His eyes moved between the three, his mouth watering. After a few second of lacking a decision he grabbed one out of anger. He tore into it easily, one big bite until he remembered Krisha's presence. He froze, looking over to her in what seemed to be embarrassment. Silently, he chewed and wiped the blood from his lips onto his sleeve.
He wasn't too comfortable eating this way in front of her, she had offered him the food and now he was eating like a pig. Did he have manners? No. Shah wouldn't know how to act proper if he studied it for ten years. It wasn't his thing, not to mention that he felt like a liar, a hypocrite and overall retarded when he tried...which was very rare. Shah wasn't exactly sure what to do. He didn't want to make a mess and gross Krisha out by eating but then again he didn't see how eating raw meat could do otherwise.
"Uhhhhh...." Shah held the meat in one hand while he stared at his other one, blood on his palm. His tail laid low in embarrassment. He wasn't sure if he should continue eating.

"Her name was Serre, she was here early this morning. She said she's suppose to train the kids that live here." Kira recalled her sister talking about being trained by her as well, but as it was only in passing, she hadn't paid much mind.
The children had run away, and she, like her sister, had been to preoccupied to notice. She was still excited about dinner tonight, and the fact that she'd be able introduce everyone to him. So many names, so many faces... She couldn't even put them together yet.
"So...Whatcha want to do to pass time, till everyone shows up?"
_____
Krisha chuckled slightly at the embarrassment. It was a new side of him, a quite different one. "You forget, my brothers are wolves as well. I'm used to it." She said, with a smile and a shrug. She had figured his nose would lead him here, had figured it would be what he would want. "Most of this stuff won't even be cooked, you know. We went a bit over-board stocking it in the first place, but atleast it won't go to waste." Her head tilted to the side. Would he realize she was telling the truth? She had lived with Vampires and Wolves most of her life. Neither were the neatest of eaters, even considering that the vampires stuck to animals, in deference to the Madams Charges. Animals were usually messier.
"Anyway, if you don't eat it, it'll probably just go bad or be given to the wildlife of the area. You yourself said you don't get much usually, so go ahead and gorge. It's... Normal to me. Normal around here." He needed to eat, he'd thrown up what he had eaten last night almost immediately afterward. God knows how long he'd gone without food before that. "If it makes you feel better, I won't look."

Sylas just nodded and agreed. Apparently it was something that happened to all the children that lived there. So he didn't mind it to much. He looked at her, and placed his forefinger on his chin, rubbing it as he did so, almost to the point of suggesting that he was thinking about something. His eyes squinted and he looked at her intently.
"I think you should show me what you learned from Goddess Minty this morning! Oh please do! You said you were taught by her right? You must show me!" he said smiling, very happy to know what she learned from Minty earlier in the morning.

Shah took her word on it. Not because he believed her completely but because as she spoke he had taken a subconscious bite and found that he couldn't stop himself if he tried. He had puked after eating that pizza yesterday night and hadn't eaten anything since then. Actually, Shah wasn't sure if he had eaten anything after that considering that Krisha was still in one piece and she hadn't mentioned any other living thing being harmed. Besides, his appetite was demanding enough to convince Shah that he hadn't gone completely nuts.
He stood there, savoring the silence, the taste, the icy breeze that slipped around them. His tail wagged gently as his guard was lowered in his content state. He chewed silently, licking the blood on his lips and fingers as his eyes stared around the area. Looking at the ceiling, the floor, the shelves, the food and then Krisha. How was it that she had all of this and nothing had to be given in return? Shah stopped himself there, he had seen her scars. The ones that covered her arms. She always spoke of Jin, he didn't mean it. There was more to her then this, Shah knew that. She had paid a price for this, Shah just didn't know what it was exactly. Still, he wondered, was the price really that much? Krisha had a family, friends, she was happy. How did the two even out?
Shah tossed the last chunk of meat into his mouth before grabbing another from the shelf. "So, all you guys, Jin and everyone, you're all related?" He asked. He had to ask, there were so many names Shah was confused with who was a sibling and who wasn't. He knew Emilie, Numari and Rin were aunts and Jin was a sibling along with Zeph and Kira. Serre, Amos and those other three...Selene, Raul and Lucius? Those were a mystery to him. He was surprised by how close they all were but he didn't let Krisha see that.
The mere thought of him made his blood boil. He tore into the meat in his hand with a small sense of satisfaction.

Krisha paused for a a bit. How was she suppose to explain all of this? "You could say that..." She started, slightly at a lose. "Mostly we're all blood donors. Serres the only one directly related to the Madame, through blood. Jin's her main donor, so that she doesn't black out and kill someone. That's the only way they're related. Jin, zephyr and kira are all my actual siblings, along with Selene. She's the oldest. We were the Madames....Test subjects, the same with Emilie, when you meet her. Numari and Rin are our care takers, as are Raul and Lucian. Kind of like loving aunts and uncles, you know?" She chuckled slightly, a bit awkwardly. Why was she telling him? He didn't need to know, but for some reason, she wanted him too.
"They always made sure they didn't take to much. Amos... He's the most recent, a humanoid fox, with an elfin brain. Numari stole him away from the Keep, so he's going to live here too."
Speaking of, she hoped that Serre wasn't pushing them to hard. If they came back injured, she'd have hell to pay.
"There's one thing you actually need to know about the people here. No one willingly talks about there past, and everyone here is, or has been, broken in some way during their life. Keep that in mind and no one will have any problems with anyone." She shrugged at that. Krisha moved through the frozen chamber gracefully, the cold air tinting her skin lightly blue. It was like watching an ice queen walk. ___________________________________
Kira nodded happily. It wasn't much, but it was enough to make her happy for now. She hadn't had much time to practice, but it hadn't been that hard when she was there. In fact, it almost seemed to come naturally, once she knew the words.
The girl grabbed his hand and pulled him farther out into the glade. The cave was to close, and she wanted a hill, so she could be higher up. Once they arrived at the correct spot though, she pulled out the wand and removed her scarf. If it backfired, she didn't want to get choked by it.
Steadying herself on the very top, she took a deep breath and concentrated. "Kira Kira Magicu Air!" She said, focusing on the wand and the air around her.
A large burst of wind erupted from the trees and knocked her back down the hill. By the time she rolled down to the bottom she was luaghing so hard she almost choked.

"KIRA?!" was all that could be heard from Sylas once he got to his feet as well. He too, was knocked down by the great wind that had started blowing. He was blown away by this powerful wind. Like, literally blown away. What a way to end the day right?
He looked for Kira for a while, but to no avail. He could not find her for the life of him. He soon became quite tired, it was late, and he couldn't seem to find her anywhere. He then decided he would find her some other day and he would just go home to his family. He didn't necessarily want to leave, but he had no other choice. That wind had blown him away, literally.

Shah took special note of her last words. He was no moron, he wouldn't push at anything about anyone's past unless he wanted to be a hypocrite. Not here at least, he wouldn't risk anything back firing on him. He was in no mood to speak about his own past. She had said it herself, no one willingly spoke about their past. Everyone is, or had been broken some time in their life. Shah was no exception.
Shah watched her move gracefully through the area. So gracefully that her feet didn't even seem to touch the floor. The air fogging gently as she breathed, her skin taking on a light blue from the cold. Was she cold? Shah couldn't tell. She didn't give any hint of it at all. In all honesty, it seemed as if she barely noticed it. She seemed to flourish in the cold, becoming the essence of the soothing shill that surrounded them. She was beautiful, so very beautiful. How could she have experienced anything that could taint her? How was she able to seem so pure and yet so corrupt at the same time? He knew she had experienced this ******** up world but he couldn't believe it. Rather, he didn't want to believe it. He didn't want to believe those scars that he saw, he didn't want to believe the horrors that haunted her. He didn't want to believe that there was a past that was forbidden to tell.
Because, believing all these things meant that no one was safe. Despite how so many suffer, more will continue to do so. There will be no end, never an end. No one will ever say "Okay, I think we screwed enough people already. Let's call it a quit." It will always continue for years and years. Through family after family. No amount of heroes will be able to make a difference, no amount of endurance will be able to get through it.
Everyone is utterly ******** didn't want to know anymore, he'd much rather love Krisha as a beautiful mystery then as the beautiful truth.
But why did he care? Why did he care is everyone was ********? He was already ******** so it didn't matter what happened to everyone else. He had been screwed over so many times he had lost count twice, TWICE!! Losing count once is bad enough, but twice is just too much. Let everyone be ********, he didn't give a damn. Why would he give a damn anyway? What goes around comes around right? If everyone's ******** it meant the ******** would get ******** too. That was a good thought, some revenge right there. Shah continued eating, watching Krisha as she slide around. He didn't care, of course he didn't care. The world and everyone in it didn't deserve his care. His care wasn't worth anything anyway.
Shah finished eating though he could eat more, much more. He did actually but in a little bit. He licked his bloody hands before wiping them off on his pants. He moved over to Krisha, not graceful in the least. His feet weren't silent against the floor like Krisha's, his breath came out sharper and quicker unlike her own, the way he moved was quicker then the average person and with much more awareness and warning. As if he was being followed or watched. He moved like a paranoid man just with slightly more cockiness. As if the world was out to get him and there was no one there to trust.
He slipped up behind her, his fingers gently sliding against the cool skin of her arm. Her scent, it was so unique, so intoxicating. He didn't know what it was, he couldn't put his finger on it. He wanted to tell her so many things, he should tell her but he wouldn't. Not now despite how he itched to do so. His stubbornness was getting in the way. His fear was holding him back despite how he knew he shouldn't worry. Still, you can't teach an old dog knew tricks.
"How does on keep from remembering when they're scared to forget?" Shah muttered subconsciously. That question, the one Krisha asked him twice before, it wouldn't leave.
((HAHAHAHAHA!! You love my long post that leave for very little response!! >8D Also, Chunky I promise to get to work on Alice's journal soon!!
