"Oh, either is fine really. Which ever is more convenient for you," Damaris said with a nod. The girl was a little quieter than usual and stuck rather close to Valens side. She was already wondering what must be going through his mothers head.

Lamiah seemed to me thinking on it before motioning for them to follow, "Best to leave LaVey to watching TV by himself until dinner. He is normally more amiable after he's eaten." She explained, making it sound as though the man were a bit like an animal in that way.
She lead the group to the kitchen, motioning for them to sit at the table while had a nice table cloth laid out on it and a pretty center piece as well. She had really spruced the place up for the company they were having since it wasn't often they had any, "Have a seat, make yourselves at home." She said to Damaris and Red.
It would seem that no matter what she might be thinking she was completely cheerful on the outside, in fact the only thing she worried over is what LaVey was going to think on their son's choice of girls.
Valens trotted over to the table, happily taking up on of the seats. He reached over to poke at the centerpiece before looking at Damaris, "My Mom was really excited to have you it seems. This is new." He said, in reference to the table decoration.
Ellie looked down at Red before giving him a little nudge with her nose, "Going to wait here? Or go into the kitchen with the others?" She asked of the blue dragon.

"Uhm...alright then," Damaris said the talk about Valens father only put the girl a little more on edge. She followed the two into the kitchen. She walked in behind them and sat down in the chair next to Valens. She wasn't intimidated by his mother but wanted to make sure she made as good a first impression as she could.
"Thank you for inviting us," Damaris said to Lamiah. She kept her head down a bit and fiddled with her fingers a little. This would not be nearly as awkward if she weren't pregnant.
Red was quick to get up, he needed no persuasion from Ellie to get him in the kitchen. That is where the smell of those amazing foods came from. He grunted in affirmation as he began to waddle off towards the others.

"We are glad to have you, I have to admit I have been pretty excited to meet you since Valens told us about you." She said as she stirred something in a pot on the stove, lifting it up to take a taste to make sure that it was tasting like she wanted it to taste.
Valens gave a bit grin, ears flicking back and forth as he reached over to pick up a piece of fruit that was sitting on the table and looked it over before taking a bite, "Its the first time I have brought anyone home, its pretty cool." He told Damaris.
Ellie followed after the blue dragon into the kitchen, smiling. She moved to sit down next to her boy, giving him a nudge in the side for eating before dinner. She then turned to look over at Red and watched him, she had a feeling he was going to be won over by Lamiah and her cooking.

Damaris smiled a bit still a little nervous. She looked over to Valens, "You've never had any friends come over before?" She asked rather surprised.
Red decided to sit on the floor next to Damaris' chair. Even if the dragon had wanted to, even he knew he probably couldn't get himself onto the chair. The blue dragon waited on the floor impatiently for the food.

He shook his head, "This is the first time. I normally just go hang out random places with them. There were a couple times I visited their houses, like when I went to yours or the time I went to Kale's house to play." He just wasn't sure about bringing people home... he would prefer upon going to their places really.
Ellie looked over at Red, giving a little chuckle before going over to sit next to Lamiah and talked with her in hushed tones before turning to look over at the other dragon. The woman looked over at him to before giving the dragon her best smile, "Would you care to try some of the stew, Red? Tell me what you think of it?" She asked, indicating the pot that she was stirring.

Red's ear flaps flicked back and forth at the question, the stew sounded so amazing, of course he wanted to taste it! He grunted affirmatively and meandered over to the woman and the silver dragon on the other side of the kitchen. Of course the woman would want his opinion on her cooking. After all the meal was most likely because of him anyhow, what other reason would they have for making such a banquet.
"Be careful Mrs. Black, he might eat the spoon too," Damaris said half jokingly. Red was notorious for eating most everything in sight. She didn't want her hostess to get freaked out by her dragon.

Lamiah couldn't help but giggle, "I hope not, its one of my best spoons." She said as she stirred it for a moment more and then held the large spoon, full of the contents from the pot, out to Red as an offering. Lamiah wanted to make a good impression upon the dragon so she would follow advice given to her by Ellie who seemed to know the Blue Dragon well.
Valens watched teh dragon as he went over to get food and he gave a bit of a grin, "Hes gonna get fat if hes not careful. Mom always passes out 'taste tests' of her food, its worse when shes experimenting with new recipes."

Red sniffed at the contents in the spoon and his nostrils were on vacation once the aroma was detected. He soon took the contents of the spoon in his mouth and his taste buds set fireworks off.
Red swallowed and a deep sound came from his throat, it sounded like a cat's equivalent to a purr. Red closed his eyes and enjoyed the food until every last bit had left his taste buds. This woman's food was euphoric!
"Gonna get?" Damaris repeated, "I think he already is," she giggled a little bit. She hadn't really cooked for Red before, the dragon seemed content enough with just raw food so she really hadn't seen his reaction to a home cooked meal. It was pretty surprising, and amusing.

Lucrecia gave a little chuckle as she watched the dragon purr over the taste of the stew he'd gotten adn she couldn't help but enjoy his reaction. She set the spoon down before she got one of the baked buns that she'd made, placed a scoop of the stew on it, and held it out for him. She was always a fan of anyone who liked her cooking... and would most likely give him all sorts of things to see what he thought.
The more opinions she got on what she was making the better, that way she knew what she should keep the same and what she should change.
Valens did his best to keep from laughing at her comment, looking the dragon over. He was a little chubby compared to Ellie wasn't he? Then again she was always having to chase after him so she had a lot of excess exercise and no chance to sit still for to long unless Valens fell asleep, "At least he looks happy."

"That's, one way to put it I guess," Damaris said giggling herself.
Red was quick to take the food and devour the roll. It was even better with bread! He licked his lips repeatedly to get every last bit of flavor into his mouth.
Damaris was calming down a bit, though she had no idea what Valens father would be like. Hopefully that whole awkwardness would soon get done, she couldn't help but still feel awkward knowing her boyfriends dad whom he had warned her about was sitting in the next room.

It were as thought thinking to hard of the 'devil' caused him to appear. LaVey was a good looking man... or at least he would be were he to ever smile about anything. He seemed to appear in the doorway to the kitchen, watching the proceedings before shaking his head, "Going to introduce me to your friend?" He asked, turning his gaze on Valens.
The horse gave a jump of surprise, end up on his feet before he even realized he was moving do to his DNA's flight response. He turned to look over at the man before nodded, "Ahh... yeah, we were gonna at dinner." He explained then turned to motion at Damaris, "This is Damaris, Damaris this is my father LaVey Sammael."
Lamiah looked over at LaVey then gave him a smile, "Isn't she a darling? She brought her partner over as well." She said, motioning to the Blue dragon.
The man looked at Damaris first, seeming to study the girl closely before looking over at the dragon to give him a once over as well, "I see. How long until dinner?" He asked, seeming to have little interest in their company more then the glances.
"Not to long." Lamiah said, seemingly unbothered by the man's attitude as she got a fresh spoon to stir the pot with, "In fact I think we could eat now, at least once the table is set."
Valens trotted over to fetch the nessasary dishes before the order was given to him by either of his parents of Ellie.

Damaris went to stand up to greet LaVey once he asked Valens to introduce her. Though once she stood up from her seat there was a splashing noise, like a liquid hitting the tiled floor. Damaris looked down wide eyed as he pants dripped....her water had just broke.

The splash sound seemed to cause the entire room to grow completely silent and deathly still before all eyes were suddenly on the girl that the sound had come from... it was Lamiah that reacted first. She took a step forward and motioned with her spoon in the manner of a drill sargeant, "LaVey! Go get the car started, will you please?"
The man blinked a couple times, shook his head to get his brain working, and then turned to do as he was told. While he wasn't often so obedient it was hard not to listen when someone was going into labor in your kitchen.
"Valens if you would go and fetch me the phone and a blanket?" She asked her son... then winced as he dropped the dished and rushed off to do as he was told. There was a crash of plates as they hit the ground in many pieces and Lamiah shook her head, "Ahh... men..." She turned to look over at Damaris then and gave her a smile, "When he gets back with the phone I will call the hospital, would you like to give me your number so I can call your parents as well?"
Lamiah seemed quite cool, calm, and collected... though inside she was a bit panicked. She had never been around someone giving birth, had never done it herself so this was all new and very different to her... sure one read about it, saw it all the time on TV and such but that was nothing like first hand experiance, "For now maybe you should sit?" She suggested, moving to turn off the stove.
Ellie watched as everyone set off to do as Lamiah ordered them to do and looked at Red in a concerned manner before looking back at Damaris. The dragoness had no idea what was going on but from the reactions of those around them it seemed bad...

Damaris was stunned at what had just happened, she did shakily sit down and opened her mouth to say something but a blood curdling scream came out instead. She was going into labor.
Red was standing up right at alert, he didn't know what the hell was happening but he knew it wasn't good. He went over to his girls side and looked her over fervently. He couldn't find out what was wrong with her! It only added to his frustration.
