Trembling she still had her eyes closed firmly. She was taking it slow. Very slow as she slithered forward diliberately in the direction of the strange smell.
It was sweet...something she found familar but couldn't place. It calmed her some since it was a vaugely familar scent. She wracked her brain trying to place it. She stopped as she creaked one eye open. It was still dark but she could make out shapes better...though she found she could basically place all objects in her brain jsut by thte smells she picked up on her tongue.
Tree...grass....Ligeia....she looked over her shoulder flickering her tongue again. yes..definately Gwea. It calmed her some and she then pressed forward a bit more boldly.

It was strange, the object that came to mind when she caught the scent of the hidden treasure wasn't what was really there. There was a small sphere with a gem in it but from just the scent alone she would picture a bush of flowers. The scent would become clearer and clearer the closer she got, the more of the scent she gathered... honeysuckles.

It was a comforting smell, something that calmed her down, she still felt nervous but at least she knew that Ligeia was there...and her father was around....she would have words with her own father when she saw him again. She didn't like that he left her. Not one bit.
Tasting the air again she moved once more, slithering towards the smell of...flowers. She didn't know what honeysuckles were...having never seen them before but she liked the smell. She stopped as the smell became very strong and she reched down tentatively gropping around in the grass for the strange sphere that...definaetly wasn't flowers.
She looked a bit surprised...and yet remembered Orpheus had said that she would be looking for spheres...not flowers. Still though she clutched her prize as she turned around looking for Ligeia.
"Gwea! Look! I found one." She said in a happy tone proud of herself for actually being brave enough to venture around in the dark.

Ligeia gave a smile, and clapped his hands, "That's great Saedah, good job!" He said to her, quite impressed by how she had been able to find one of the sphere so easily.
Orpheus was smiling as well, "Good job, Saedah. There are two more left to find." He told her, "Just keep doing what your doing and I am sure you will do well." He told her.
Holding the honeysuckle sphere might normally make it a little harder to catch the scents of other things in the room since it was a strong scent but Saedah's sense of smell was special compared to normal senses. Another scent would come to her, some far more vague that made it seem far from where she was standing... something that smelled salty.

Saedah's happiness melted the moment she was informed she had two more to find. She had hoped this whole thing would be over now, she wanted to go hug Ligeia and not be in the darkness anymore. Though one would think she would prefer it being dark...since she loved ot hide in small dark places...but then again...that was small..this place was huge.
Trembling again she clutched the sphere to her chest before trying to listen to Orpheus's advice and flickered her tongue out again. At first she only smelled the honey suckle sphere in her hand. BUt she tried again to seperate the other smells in the room.
It was there...faint but...certianly out of place in a feild. Salt? She seemed a bit confused as she then slithered forward in the direction of the second sphere. Ligeia's praise was what was keeping her going at the moment.

The closer she got to the new sphere the more the strange, salt scent would reach her. It was as though the sphere itself had been coated in the stuff before it was hidden much like how the first one was coated in the honeysuckle perfume.
To add a moment of confusion as she headed toward the salty scented sphere another scent would reach her, that of the third sphere and it smelled a lot better, sweeter, like some sort of candy coated treat. They had been set up nearer to each other just to cause confusion, to test the student.

Pausing Saedah furrowed her brows in confusion. Now...there was a sweet smell. She was so confused. She was suppose to go for the salt right? That slaty smell? But...the new smell was...so much nicer...she would of preferred to go after it. But...maybe she could get both? But...
Shaking her head she clutched her honey suckle sphere to her chest. She...she wanted nothing more for this to be over. Quivering she finally forced herself to try and single out the salt smell. After all that had been her first goal...maybe this was a test? She tried not to think too hard on it as she slithered her way a bit towards the salt. She turned her head tasting the air again to the sweet scent.. really wishing she was going that way...but turned her head back in the ...salt tasting air.

The salt crystal coated sphere was sitting on the ground in a clump of grass and she would be able to find it quite easily as she got closer. The strongly scented sphere was the second of the three she had to find, the third and final one being the sweet smelling one.
Ligeia gave a smile, "Good job Saedah, only one more left to find." He told her when he saw her get to where the salt one was sitting.

Picking it up the girl scrunched her nose. She didn't care for the salty smell.. Trying to find a way to hold it so she could smell the honey suckle on better she then looked to Geia and smiled at his praise. Ever thankful he was near by.
Moving she puffed out her cheeks more determined than ever to find the last one! She had to, for Geia. Moving about she flickered her tongue out again and moved towards the sweeter scent. She was glad it wasn't a trap like she had initially thought, but now it was just the point of trying to get past the salt smell in her hands.
Moving about she got a bit disoriented until she was able to separate the smells and then she finally came about to the sweeter one.

Ligeia watched as she moved along. She seemed in his eyes a little disorientated by the different smells all coming to her at once. He didn't comment because it was Saedah's class and her skill to figure out and it seemed after a moment she was able to figure it out. He turned to follow her and she seemed to be going in the right direction.
Soon enough she would find the final sphere sitting on the ground before her.

Saedah paused as she then bent over and tried to scoop the last of the spheres into her arms. It was...quite an arm load but she managed to get it. Beaming she turned around to search for Geia.
"Look look Gwea! I found it!" She cried out in a soft voice happily. She flickered her tongue trying to see if the owl was close enough she could go to him.
"Am...am i done now?" She asked hopeful. She didn't want to be in the dark anymore.

Ligeia stepped closer to where she was, kneeling down and reached his hands out to lay then on her shoulders so that she knew he was there, "You did a very good job." He told her, smiling though it would be hard to see.
He turned to where his father was standing and called out, "All done! She found all of the spheres."
The red haired teacher nodded, "Cover your eyes for a moment." He said, when he was given the 'ready' from Ligeia who closed his own eyes and covered Saedah's with his hand the lights were turned on revealing everything to them again.
"A very good job Saedah." Orpheus complimented her.

Saedah looked up at Ligeia but she found her eyes being covered and a voice annoucning that the lights were being turned on. She was thankful for that, and even brimming with pride at Geia's compliment to her.
"I..did it didn't I?" She murmured proudly holding all three spheres they...looks a bit different than she had imagined them to look. BUt she turned her face to look at Orpheus as well raise on ball carefully into the air to show him.
"See see!" she called happily.

Orpheus nodded his head as he reached down to take trio of heavily scented spheres from her, "A very good job, you most definitely pass this class." He told her with a smile. The spheres were set down so that he write down a couple notes before handing the clipboard over to Ligeia, "Here, you get the fun of the paper work today."
Ligeia blinked then gave a little laugh, "Alright, I don't mind." He said before turning to Saedah, "Want to come sit with me while I fill this out? We can wait for your Daddy together."

Saedah looked over to Orpheus and then to Geia and nodded her head. Of course she wanted to sit with him!
"Can I help?" She inquired thoughtfully as she placed her arms behind her back in a cute fashion. She could spend all day with Geia. He was her favorite person.
"Gwea Gwea, do you have...someone specials to you?" She inquired as she followed him. It would be a couple minutes before Kuyoja got back...so she wanted to know more about Ligeia.
