Guess what, I've just got the ok to tell you exactly what will happen.
First you must understand that there is a magic dampening barrier erected around earth/terra/our universe. I'm not quite sure how expansive it is. The point is we have no magical aptitude because of it.
Now, I don't know how the Mayans knew (some deity probably let it slip wile drunk) but December 23 2012 marks the weakling of this barrier and simply put magic will be much much easier to preform.
I can not stress how important this information is because we are not the only ones who will be affected. Many beings are waiting for this day to start mayhem. In fact the barrier was probably erected to stop the fighting. And now that the barrier is reaching its expiration date there very well be "a war among the gods and titans" so to speak.
I will reiterate, this is the utmost importance. we humans must know this information to better prepare our self from the onslaught of influences. Many parties are making their plans on the assumption that us humans know nothing about magic and the larger reality.
Just a clarifying note: by magic I am speaking about spiritual energy. Its conversion to other types of energy is considered magic. In other words pushing something is magic. XDD Physics joke.

Dont know if peeps listen and they may be too late. The magical community definetly know whats going on so they will be ready for the onslaught.
But the sad fact about the whole thing is that most of them think that we are crazy meaning they will not listen.
Whatever happens the human race will be completely changed by it and we will be as well.
So I hope for all your sakes that you choose the right side. Otherwise your soul may be lost.

But the sad fact about the whole thing is that most of them think that we are crazy meaning they will not listen. Whatever happens the human race will be completely changed by it and we will be as well. So I hope for all your sakes that you choose the right side. Otherwise your soul may be lost. All one must do is look for the barrier. Its there plain and simple. Just no one knows its there.

Obscurus I've studied the end of the Mayan calendar and it coincides with the solar maximum as well as our solar system passing through the plane of the galactic disc. Does that mean something? It might or it might not. We'll see in a few years. I've heard about that, too. Supposedly it could cause something big, like the poles reversing or something like that. I agree, though: the only way to find out is to wait and see.

It's the people writing books about it that are making the money and I'd go as far to say that those books are mostly to stir up a kind of hysteria.

I wouldn't know but i guess that's true. They never actually show the people who does the studies, on those TV shows on history/discovery channel. lol I haven't any read books about this.

Personally I think people are going to get all hyped up about it thinking something huge is going to happen, and nothing is going to happen at all. I agree that the state of the world right now is really bad. We're officially in a recession and its not to good, maybe something good will happen in 2012. We can only hope though xp

And this maybe a late reply, but I have to say this.
I think it's stupid, we as humans can believe anything, like the paranormal. (Haha, I'm one to talk, I love the Paranormal!)
But, come on.
Y2K never happened, so what makes people think the world is going to end in 2012?
There is an estimation that Jesus Christ will come back in like, 2014, or 2015, after four blood red moons or whatever, or as soon as the entire world turns on Jerusalem, and I really don't know how to spell that but that is an attempt.
ANYWHO, what I mean is, there are so many things saying the world is going to end in 2012+...
So, come on, really?

With Y2K it was just rampant stupidity and ignorance of computers. 2012 is a little bit more complicated than that, as you have lots of prophesies from geographically isolated sources pointing toward that time period for a great change. It also happens to coincide with a unique astronomical event that hasn't happened since before human civilization existed. I don't think it's about "the end of the world" but more about great change. Great change naturally means destruction. Will it be anymore than a neat astronomical alignment? We can't know but it's certainly significant for that if nothing else.

It is pure consciousness! It is the underlining fabric of reality, with reality/universe as we know it existing in a little bubble of an ocean. This omniscient, omnipotent, omnifarious, basis of ALL existence is what we could consider God or Creator. Can you imagine it? No you can't, neither can I. Can you be it? You most certainly are. For we are created in the image of this spiritual energy. Can't quite grasp this? That's okay. For the very reason we have taken human form, is mainly because we could not.
