@Lady Kayura: Please don't misjudge me, I already replied to your post and it seems its being ignored. I'm not like that I don't go flaming non-Christian's nor anyone outside of my belief nor do i blatantly tell anyone there wrong cause they could turn around and say the same thing, i know to them my belief is not indefinite nor proven, by their standards, neither is theirs so neither of us should be considered less for believing what we do. I am upset at the fact that just because we hold our belief, that we are flamed to no end. Now i know if i start a debate I'm in for it, i brought it on myself obviously I'm looking for an argument. What i have been seeing though is Christian's just looking for other Christians and getting attacked just for asking about or mentioning the name of Christ. If you so fully believe that i'm such a terrible person check my posts you wont see a single one that indicates hostility to non-Christians. So forgive me if i came off as a terrible non-Christian Judge who condemns people to hell even though i have no right to. I know my place and i don't want to come off as someone like that cause it makes me no better than the people i'm insulted by. I also admitted my fault i was a little harsh in that i used thickheaded, i can change it to hardened against our belief, or too strong in it to even heed mine? if you'd like.

Yea...i know what you mean. Gaia just seems to attract more anti-christians than christians. I dont really have friends on Gaia either, but thats okay..i like talking to strangers online... im catholic and i think you should ignore them and dont take it seriously, because i just ignore them or you can flame them too.
Its the internet, ( it has no verbal rules) what did you expect? D; well you can be my friend biggrin ...or not

I noticed alot of Christians are the more thinking-inside-the-box kids, less of the creative types. Ones who maybe have a facebook account and otherwise don't explore the internet and are out in the world and such. Gaia tends to attract those who care less about socializing and more about creativity. So you get a double whammy of non-christians who like to think they're being all "open-minded" to everyone except the supposedly "intolerant" Christians. rolleyes But there are Christians even in places like this wink .

I ignored your reply because there was nothing worth responding to. Yes, yes flaming is bad. But you very easily used an attitude that puts people off here, among peers. It makes me wonder how you think you are being precieved, or if you consider that all. And FYI, you didn't come off as a terrible non-Christian judge, you came off as an elitist Christian know-it-all. It's the latter that makes all Christians look bad. You don't need to go back and change anything. What you need to do is next time you post, take a look at what you're posting and for a moment, think about how others will read it as. SUPERSQUIRRELX I noticed alot of Christians are the more thinking-inside-the-box kids, less of the creative types. INFPs tend to usually be artistic (I can draw/paint/etc, I play piano, I have good writing skills and sometimes write fanfiction, I spend a lot of time in my imagination, etc.).
I spend too much time on the internet though.

... *prepares thought*
A lot of people have been hurt by religious beliefs being forced onto them, or have been forced into feeling guilty or wrong. Though Christianity has been targeted as a religion of hate, despair, and guilt, nothing is beyond a sterotype.
Though, this problem is prospering in Christianity, it is not the religion that is the root problem, it is the people following a religion without understanding what the religion calls for. In my opinion: It is not Jesus's fault, nor the institution of Christianitity, it is G/god's for allowing dumb opressive people to countinue to florish.
Though, You should read the Bible compreensivly before ruling out annother religion, your mind could be made about a matter of whitch might be wrong. Are you sure what you belive is inerriable.

Honestly 99% of it is just people hating the social norm. So they lash out at things like christianity. They really have no idea why they hate it, they just do.

Masterful Bunny Leo You can't even mention the word without being flamed, unless you are doing exactly that. You can hardly make friends here because all you get is demeaning comments about your intelligence, and people so hardened to it that they go out of their way to hurt you. Does anyone here know of a good christian avatar site? This one is getting upsetting. The world in general is against Christianity - Gaia just exposes that.
Basically, people who haven't found the truth have a tendency to be angry about it. They're apart from God and feel angry at Him for having control over their lives, and so they act out by jealously calling Christians stupid or dismissing their faith. They wish they had faith.

I love when people blame their problems on God, but then can't thank him when everything goes right. They only thanks themselves. My boyfriend has an ex-friend who hated God because a guy held a gun to his head when he was little. He wants to know why God would let that happen. It really annoys me. Everyone has bad stuff happen to them, but there's always a reason. And God will give good to those who deserve it.
But I know what you mean. Why is it so wrong? We're not sitting there telling anyone they're going to Hell. They say we judge them because of what they believe, but look at them. They're so close-minded.
My assumption is because they all want to be like the people in the anime they watch (For the record, I watch anime and read manga, but I don't get consumed into believing it's real, or obsess over it). I know not all people are like that, but I had some friends who became Buddhists, simply because they loved the Asian culture soooo much. It's illogical.
And they automatically assume every Christian is like the people who walk around with signs, saying Gays are going to Hell, and are rude to people who aren't like them. We may know the truth, but we don't shove it in anyone's faces.

The World isn't against Christianity. Christianity is against the world. A good majority of Christians try and shove their beliefs down another's throat as a means of getting them to come to their side. If you do that from day one of course you are going to get people flaming you. You're crossing over that imaginary boundary line between you and them. If you respect them and their beliefs and don't cross that boundary line then they won't flame you. It's common sense really.

Lady Kayura mazuac I beg to differ~ The truth hurts. Go anywhere, say "I love Jesus" or "Jesus is my Savior" and instantly people will come up and flame you, debate you, call you names, etc.. It's not insulting to call people thickheaded if they really are... Truth to you isn't truth to another. And that's your problem. That's the OP's problem. That's the problem of everyone that whines "I get flamed for loving God". You ignore the fact that people have other beliefs. Instead, you go to them and just flat out say "guess what, you're wrong and I'm right" or "I'm going to heaven, you're going to hell".
How do you expect people to react? Do you really think anyone will say "HOMG, UR SOOOO RITE!!! I R TEH SINNER".
No. That would be stupid.
Christians are so notorious for ignoring other's beliefs, saying others are wrong. That is simply a lack of respect. And you wonder why people flame Christians? rolleyes Your comment kinda contradicts itself. If people can choose to believe what they think is truth, why can't non-Christians accept the fact that Christians believe in Jesus? Especially when it's a topic that says "I love God" and not "Your gods don't exist" or something. Christians don't always provoke these attacks.

Firstly not all Christians shove their religion down people's throats, and secondly do you REALLY think that other religions DON'T do that? Your right because in the middle east if you aren't Muslim they just KILL YOU... if thats not shoving religion down your throat I don't know what it..So when you say that Christianity is anti-world that's just ignorant. ALL religions believe that they are right and that everyone else is wrong INCLUDING atheists. And ALL religions have people who try to shove their beliefs down other people's throats.
