Chapter One: Magic On The Winds. This is the beginning of your quest. The early morning breeze picked up and had the scent of magic running through it. This magic was the magic from the stars, they were finally sent out to collect the chosen ones, and thus decided to be magic on the wind. Magic on the wind was not uncommon, and it was another way to get past the king of the shadow realm without him getting suspicious. He believed himself safe from all since people were silly enough to be worrying more about war between each other, rather then the fate of the world.

(The first chapter is pretty much the sequal to your characters history.)
A seemingly eighteen year old female, that was part horse, part human, walked silently through a forest. He hooves made silent clicking sounds. To many people that did not know about this race, which was centaur, they would mistaken the female for a person riding a horse, well that would be until they see her clearly. The female walked into a small village, she needed to take a break for a while, that was not in the wild and required her to set up camp and hope she wasn't attacked by any of the creatures in the wilderness.
As she passed by some people, she heard them muttering. "Look it is deathbringer, she kills thieves and the such that threaten villages." The centaur smiled, it seemed like these people had already heard of her many tales from killing thieves to save other villages and people. These people were naieve though, for they did not know exactly how she got the name deathbringer in the first place, no one even spoke of the dark powers that she was able to use.
After a time, she soon felt magic in the air, she stood still a time and glanced up at the sky. It was said that when magic was in the air, it was coming from the very sky itself. No one knew this reason, and the centaurs curiousity was getting to her. She made her way to the forest near by, and quickly walked in, ignoring the rest of the villages. Even though she was thinking of staying in the village for the night, her mind could be changed with ease. She never liked cities much anyway.

The city streets were packed in a hustle and bustle of people. There were little clouds in the distance and shadows were quite abundant. People were talking quite loudly and most words were muffled by the sheer amount of people all talking at the same time. A stranger in a long white cloak pushed people aside as she walked. Her face was hidden in within a dark blue face mask, and only the whiteness of the cloak, and a medium sized black bag that hung over her right shoulder was visible.
As she walked she nudged people out of her path with her left arm, casually walking, her eyes darting left and right. She made no sounds when she walked, her heels landing first then the middle to the tip of toes as she stepped. She slowly began to make her way to the left and turned walking down an empty ally. She slowly walked to the end of the ally and turned the corner and began to climb up the side of the wall. When she got to the top she ran quickly at great speeds and jumped over a gap in buildings, seeing merchants down below her. She landed in a roll and stopped resting on one knee. She looked down and saw her destination the burro.
She hopped down landing gracefully on the thick tiled floor. She walked slow pushing through a weave of hanging beads that led to a second room. There was a counter in front of her with an old man standing at it. She walked up to the counter slowly setting the black bag that once rested over her shoulder on the counter. The man heard the thud and looked up at her taking a puff from his old pipe that dangled from his mouth. He set the pipe to the side and looked at the dark bag.
“Ah, I see you are here to collect the bounty. Let’s see what you got.”
The man opened the bag slightly, as it fell down to the counter reviling a human head. He slowly turned it around and looked at it for a good second. He picked up the pipe again and held it in his mouth taking another puff of smoke.
“Aye, this is the man. You did well, faster than any of us could have expected. You truly are one of the best assassins to this date. You take good pride in your work. Did you encounter any trouble with this one?”
The old man picked up the bag and placed it over the head then picked the bag up and set it behind the counter.
“Those who get into trouble need assistance do they not? I work alone; I have no need for assistance or kind words. The only thanks I require in this transaction is gold. A man often wonders why things are the way they are, but if never knowing is bliss, I choose to be ignorant. Kind words are only necessary when speaking of the dead. However I feel no kindness to those I kill, nor do I wish any kindness spoken of me.”
“Aye, quick with the tongue, quick with the kill, well here is your reward. I await your next bounty Raven, and may the guild guide you to fortune.”
The old man reached under the counter and pulled out a small pouch of gold coin and set it on the table taking another puff from his pipe, the smoke lingering in the air. She picked up the small pouch and placed in one of her small hidden compartments. She walked slowly away not making a sound, or saying another word. She slowly climbed up the enclosed bricks of the wall up to the roof and looked at the ground below.
The streets were still packed with people shuffling along and it would be dangerous to jump down at this point. One of rules in Ravens creed was to not hurt any innocent people unless force was necessary. She looked around and saw a smaller roof with a smaller drop ahead. She turned standing on the tip of her toes and darted across the building leaping off the ledge and landed on the smaller roof, her feet sliding on the tops spinning herself around three hundred and sixty degrees to a standstill. She crept up the edge squatting down and looking for a landing zone. She spotted a small wooden plank with a rope attached to it hanging off the side of an adjacent building above a small merchant booth. She turned and scanned the area with her ruby red eyes and turned and leapt grabbing the rope and slid down it, gracefully landing on top of the merchant both and hopped down to the ground level walking away slowly. The merchant behind her yelled out as his goods were shaking from her landing on the top of his booth but she walked away silently holding her hands together in prayer.

The centaur female soon stopped in the clearing of a forest. She examined the area around her carefully. The magic she had followed was stronger in this area. She stood still a moment, but as she turned around she heard a strange voice whispering to her. "Mikomi Delfincho, Mikomi, come here, turn around brave necromancer." Mikomi blinked, and slowly turned around. She saw a strange spirit form, and it was made up of tiny particles of magic. "Who are you? And how do you know my name?" The form changed into somewhat human, and walked over to Mikomi. She moved her hand to the hilt of the sword, and the creature touched her.
"I am The Star of Craton, and I have been watching you. I have seen the good deeds you have done, despite being a necromancer who works with death magic." "Y...you're a star? I thought the stuff about the stars was rubbish." The star smiled. "Well, many think that, and therefore it allows us to work in secret. We have a mission for you, and others who are worthy to recieve our powers." "What is this mission you speak of? Will it help end this useless war these humans, and the other races are getting into?" The star shook its head. "It will not stop the war, but it will save the innocent people, who do not like the idea of war."
"What are you talking about? This all sounds odd to me. How can the people be saved unless we can stop the war?" The star let out a low sigh. "Mikomi, there is a greater evil at work here, and that evil is taking advantage of the war." Mikomi backed off slightly. "What greater evil? This is the first I've heard of it. If the seers haven't noticed this evil, then how can you be so sure it is real?" "I am a star Mikomi, I see everything that happens between you all. The greater evil is a powerful demon from the shadow realm. At this very moment, as we speak, and the war is starting. That demon is plotting against us all."
"A demon from the shadow realm is plotting against us? What does he plan to do? If he is trying to destroy this land, then I will not hesitate to kill him right now." The star shook its head. "You can't face him alone Mikomi. He does intend to destroy everything, but if you want to stand a chance against him, you will have to find, and team up with the others the stars have chosen." "Why are you telling me this? Haven't you chosen anyone yet?" The star shook its head. "I have told you this, because I have chosen you, to lend my power to. The others are chosing others of different elements." "Oh...Well, that is interesting. So, if you have chosen me, what must we do to make the pact?"
"You know about pacts?" "Of course I do. I may be travelling often, and never hang with others for long, but I have seen many pacts before, and many people making them. There are many different kinds of pacts as well." The star smiled. "You have great knowledge young one. But not enough yet, to face the demon of the shadow realm. Come closer, and we shall make the pact. You needn't do anything, just come closer." Mikomi hesitated at first, but she eventually walked right up to the star, and stopped in front of it. "Sit on the ground in front of me, and close your eyes."
"Why must I do that?" "It is how the pact is made. I already told you not to do anything." "You are making me do things now though." "That is only to prepare for the pact to start." "Oh, okay then." "Now sit down, and close your eyes, this won't take long, but it may hurt a little." Without questioning how it could hurt, Mikomi sat on the ground like a horse because of her lower half, and soon closed her eyes as if beginning a meditation. The star smiled, and then touched Mikomi on the shoulder. "Mikomi Delfincho, you have been chosen by The Star of Cratron, to carry out an important quest. I now bestow upon you, the power of Cratron, the star of death."
After the star finished speaking, it took a step back and power came from the ground around Mikomi. The power was a dark purple, and it slowly surrounded Mikomi's body, holding it in a kind of cocoon. It remained around her for a time, and then slowly faded as it sunk deep into her flesh, and into her bloodstream. Mikomi slowly opened her eyes. "Okay, that hurt slightly. Is that all the pact is now?" The star nodded. "I must now return to my own kind high up in the sky. I will always be watching you, and if you need help, just pray to The Star of Cratron." The star smiled, and soon faded away before dissapearing.
Mikomi slowly stood up and dusted dirt from herself. "Where do I start looking for this evil?" She muttered silently to herself. She pushed her hair from her face, and started to walk through the forest.
"Let your heart guide you to where you must go." "I guess you really are watching me. It is strange speaking through the mind like this. I have never done it before." "You never had the power to do it before until now. Though you did have the potential." "Can I read minds as well?" "No you can't. You can only speak to others through the mind, and if they do not have the skill, or ability, they can not reply." "I see."
The conversation ended, and like the star had told her to, she began to just follow her heart, and her feet seemed to automatically move her. She walked through the forest, which seemed like hours, and eventually came to a lake. A small sigh escaped her lips, and she sat on the edge of the lake, before splashing her face with water. "And so my quest begins hey." She said with a small smile. "I guess I won't be bored for a while."

Ryuu flew with the other six or so angels to the spot where the stars were clearest, which happened to be far from the city. For some odd reason, this agitated him greatly. While everyone else here was excited- they had a chance to be chosen by the great and powerful stars! What a blessing!- Ryuu was greatly irritated. He hadn't want to do this. If I get chosen, who will protect the Arc Angel? A rookie? Some other angel with no experience whats-so-ever? They'll never do. So, Ryuu prayed he wouldn't get chosen. Besides, why should he get chosen? He sure wasn't pure of heart enough for the Star of Light. That's the one all of the angels wanted, of course. Deep down, even him.
The Eight angels landed softly on the grassy hilltop, seven of them looking at the sky, the eighth looking at the grass, pondering. What would happen if I went back now? No one'd miss me here. Besides, I don't even want to be chosen. I don't... He fell asleep shortly after laying down onto the soft grass.
