"it stopped" Roxy noted looking around, "anyways kid, The Man Is the opressor the guy who gets you down and keeps you down, the one who tells you No! don't pee on the couch, No you can't eat that, Hey! you stole that Your gunna die!.......... ya know what I'm talking about?" She asked smelling the air, " Hello who ever you are........ come out here and stop hiding your kinda creeping me out." She said with a sigh looking over to the shadows.

Remi stopped playing. "So it did." he said disappointedly. "It was a really good rhythm!" Not one to mourn for long though, he nodded. "Oh, so like a bad guy." Like in Tintin. "Because I'm an adventurer, I have to bring bad guys to justice. It's kind of a job requirement." he said proudly.
As she called out, he looked around confusedly. He hadn't sensed anyone! But he knew Roxy had been out on her own a lot longer than him. "Someone's watching us?" he said alarmedly. Maybe it was a bad guy! He wasn't ready to fend one off yet, he had just started this adventuring business!

Skye flinched slightly and tried to shrink away but decided not to. She stepped softly from the darkness, the clunking of her quiver began again as she took steps. This time it was a slower sound of impact. She cleared her throat softly and spoke. "Sorry. I didn't mean to creep you out or anything." She said. Her voice wasn't a very high pitched one it sounded slightly like a young boy before puberty but also with a tint of feminism. She stood with her feet both flat on the floor, hips straight and both hands at her side; gripping onto the ends of her shirt.
She didn't know what to do... except protest that she wasn't a bad guy. "Hey! I might've creeped her but i ain't no bad guy." She said as she gave a little pout and propped her ears and overly fluffy tail up

Roxy laughed, " I never thought you were a bad guy I just don't like people lurking around, Name's Roxy" She said looking at the other female, "dude that bow is like as big as you are"

Remi looked at the new cat in surprise. As she moved, her quiver clunked. "Hey!" he called out in surprise, and swung his violin to his shoulder again, playing some more while she was still moving. "You're catchy rhythm girl!" he said, before he remembered that sort of exclamation was rude. "I'm Remi, Miss." he added politely. "And don't worry, I can tell you're not a bad guy. It's one of my adventurer skills."

Skye's shoulders moved closer to her torso, scrunching herself up. "Nice to meet you Roxy, Remi. M'name's Skye. With an e" She said moving her finger in a loop motion to write a lower case E. "And um. Thank you Remi. I never knew i was musical. But your tune from that... ins-troo-munt is very pretty." She said shyly with a laugh and a rub of her hatted head. She wasn't used to speaking long words yet. She never had to talk back with her owner since he was deaf, so she never thought there was a need to meow. "And miss Roxy, right? Yes, it is this big. I don't really know how it happened but it is." She said giving the bow a pat.
"so, what brings you two here?" she asked trying to loosen up some more. It would make them feel more awkward if she was all nervous and scrunched up.

"I ran away from home." Remi informed Skye. "Grandfather was going to give me to a monster." There was a flicker of pain in his eyes, but it passed. "Now I'm just having fun playing outside. What about you?" Remi smiled. "Why are you here?"

Roxy raised an eyebrow at the other, "Me? She asked Remi, before nodding in skye's direction, "I'm here because my person got sick, and her person hated me. So he locked me in the bathroom and wouldn't let me out. She said she'd come back. She never did. So how, Someone finally let me out. I ran, as far and as fast as i could, NOW I'm here......" She said with a small shrug, " Here telling the man to suck it" She said thrusting her hips out and winking at the others. She loved being free. She was happy here. This was perfect. She had everything she never wanted but she found it perfect. She straightened out her jumper and looked over at Skye. " why are you here?" she asked her curiosity getting the better of her.

"That sounds horrible!" Her expressions were plastered on her face and dripped from her voice. It was a sad feeling to know that Remi ran away from it and Roxy was abandoned. Skye scratched her head nervously. Their stories were so sad and yet she couldn't even remember her own story. "I... really don't know. I was really little. all I can remember is being thrown out in a box." Her mouth went into a frown as she spoke. She couldn't even remember what her human even looked like let alone remember the sound of his or her voice. "They never came to get me ever since then. I guess they're happy with another kitten now." She said with a nervous laugh, trying her best not to sound as though she wanted a home back with her human. She wished that she was as strong as Roxy when it came to this type of thing...
"but... enough of that. Let's head off somewhere fun!" She said with a softer smile on her face. It was a bore to stand around for the night. The three of them were free collars, right? No humans to hold them down, but rather free to roam the city.

Remi frowned. 'The Man'? 'Suck it'? Roxy's expressions were confusing. Anyway, it sounded like the moral of their collective stories were that humans basically sucked and, the fact made Remi squirm uncomfortably. Until he met Grandfather's granddaughter, life had been pretty good for him. He didn't like to ruin that mental picture he had had of humans for so long. "Yeah!" he said quickly. "I need to find a place to sleep. Where do you go when you don't have a human house to stay in?" He had never tried sleeping outside before, he had always had a warm and comfortable bed waiting for him. "I need a dry place so I won't ruin my violin." he explained gravely. "Do you guys have suggestions?"

Roxy looked at Skye, " What is there ta do around this place?" She asked cocking out her hips and resting her hands on them. She really didn't get out much but she was okay with that. Not like she knew that what there was to do. She pulled some gum out of her pocket and munched on a few peices holding the pack out to the other's as she popped her gum, " I'm up fer anything" She said as she decided that she wasn't really into standing around here doing nothing. The night was still young and she was kinda hungry maybe she could steal a fish or something.
She looked down at Remi, " I sleep in a car with another.....but its not that Dry Sometimes." SHe said with a small shrug." but theres always a way to find someplace" she said with a nod.

Skye looked at the floor, but more towards her own body. She was shapeless as a rectangle. She could never have hips like those or even think of standing how Roxy was. "There's lots of places to go!" Eagerness showed through in her voice. "There's bird watching and sitting next to old ladies who would gladly give you a piece of the expensive kind of fish. and star gazing." Her list sounded like it could go on and on, but she stopped as Roxy answered Remi about where to live.
"A car?" She sounded surprised. "Aren't those really dangerous?! What if it belongs to someone else and they find you inside?! you and your car-partner could get sent to the pound!" She said. She breathed a bit slower after she sort of got panicked. "Sorry." She said softly. "for getting too rowdy" She looked at her two hands before she tapped a fingerless-gloved hand to her chin as she thought about where she was most often in. "i... don't actually stay in one area." She began after Roxy. "But I've been mostly in a foresty area now." She said with a shy smile. It was one of the few places where she could admire the birds to her liking.

Roxy laughed slightly at Skye's concern, " Yeah its abandoned and like up on blocks and there's no way that someone would drive it anywhere" She reassured the other. She couldn't figure out why one would be worried about her. Not like she cared for anyone.....except Apollo. She sighed, " I could go for some food right about now" She said to the other's " Anyone feel like grabbing some grub?"

Remi opened his mouth to agree but stopped and shut it. From what it sounded like, he should really be looking for a dry place to stay. Food and having fun were important things, but his violin's safety always, always came first! "Sorry guys." he said reluctantly. "I have to go. Thanks for the help and all though, I'm sure we'll meet again sometime!" Flashing them both a grin, he played a few notes in a brief farewell trill and left with a bow.
He had enjoyed meeting them, but like it or not, he was on his own now. He had to be more careful at least for the sake of Grandfather's instrument.
