When Echo saw the cave he couldn't tell what it was. For that matter he could barely even remember his own name. His whole body quivered uncontrollably. He could only feel the stone floor click against his toe claws. He felt nausiated and wanted to vomit. "Thhankiesss...... ahhhh.... sleeepp es wa I needdsss," he mumbled. And with that he passed out onto the cave floor.

"No problem" reena said as she supported the injured..obviously sick echo and helped to usher him into the cave, the poor thing, "Sleep and maybe more, dont get sick on us alright" she sighed as he passed out, moving him a little to at least make him comfortable. "The poor thing..mmm it proves that the great angry te'rah has a heart though, this is really rather sweet of you letting him into your cave" reena smiled at the big purple male, "So lets get to work getting him better ne" her tail flicking low in worry as she glanced back at echo..hoping he would be alright.

Echo was dreaming, except it wasn't really like dreaming. It was more like a giant review of his past. He remembered being an infant. He was rather furry, even more so than his brothers and his sisters. He could feel the desert dust sticking to his coat. He couldn't remember his mom, or dad even for that matter. He lived on a great mound of red rocks and caught sand beetles, desert mice, just about anything he could get his claws on. His sister Narayan was with him all the time, she was his best friend. All of them would hunt at night. Sleep in day to avoid the sweltering sun. It was him and his siblings against the world, only them. One day it happened, he wandered too far and the dust storm came. He couldn't make it back. He ran. And when the storm cleared he was lost......

Te'Rah snorted at her comments watching him for a moment as the last rays of sun disappeared giving way to the moon and the darkness. Stepping outside, he dragged the wolf carrion into the cave leaving it for Reena and Echo.
When he was finished scouting the perimeter, he came back inside. Finding a corner close to the entrance, he settled, watching the darkness. The sick raptor would be an interest to other predators. He'd have to take watch for the whole night. Looking over his shoulder at the two, he gave a slight hiss. "Reena, get some sleep if you need to. I'll wake you if he seems to change." His tail tip slightly flicked as he turned back to the outside world, his head resting against the cool stone.

Echo awoke in cave. It was dark and his eyes where slightly out of focus. His dream was slightly disturbing he hadn't thought of his birth pack for a very long time. As his eyes began to focus he saw that Reena was sitting next to him but he wasn't sure if she was awake or not. He shivered. At the entrance to the cave Te'Rah was clearly awake and watching. That's when he saw the wolf carcass, Echo felt his stomach growl. The nausiation was gone and he was sure he could hold the meat down but his fever was still up. He was getting the hots and colds, sweating and shivering at the same time. He couldn't reach the carcass without walking and frankly he didn't feel that it was a good idea. "Ahhh mm may I havve soome meeeat," he rasped so quietly that he doubted anyone heard him.

"Again your being to kind te'rah....I like seeing this side of you though" she said with a smirk snuffing out a little yawn as she got herself settled on the cave floor..glad to get a chance at some sleep..he was right she needed it..Not getting much though as she heard echo wake up..Letting out a long yawn as she groggily glanced at the black male.."Course..you can.." reena huffed crooning quietly as she called out to te'rah..
"Looks like our guest is awake..and hungry.." it wasnt her kill so she couldnt go offering it up without asking te'rah..Yawning again as she wrapped her tail closer, scooting nearer to echo..being cold blooded they needed the warmth, it was so odd to feel echo shiver..
Pst..see my siggy..click it and tell them I referred you..

Echo was hungry, but he was even more tired. Reena scooted closer to him and her warmth made him even more sleepy. He started to doze off again. Then he forced himself awake, he would need food to heal. But he felt his eyelids grow heavy, he shivered, and his eyes shot open. It was no use he slipped away into the blackness. Little did he know that in his sleep he moved closer to Reena.

Sitting up, he grumbled about female and stupid, wounded males. As he began to tear the good chunks of the meat, he noticed the two and gave a cocky grin. He'd never let it up between those two as long as this picture was engraved in his mind. Their snuggling was kind of adorable.
Once done, he nosed the chunks within reaching distance of Reena and Echo. She'd probably end up feeding him whenever they both woke up. With the rest of the wolf, he devoured the slightly touch meat, his fangs and teeth tearing through flesh effectively. His eyes kept sneaking over to the entrance of the cave however, on constant watch.

Echos eyes snapped open. He could see silvery light streaming through the cave entrance, dawn. Te'Rah was still at his post staring out of the cave into the morning light. Reena was lying next to him still sound asleep. That's when Echo noticed the meat in front of him. Te'Rah must have moved it in the night. Echo's mouth watered and his stomach growled. Carefully not to wake Reena he snatched up a piece of meat and wolfed it down. His hunger subsided and his energy started to return. He pulled himself up and looked at his wound. It had fully clotted but still hadn't quite scabbed over. His fever had gone down too, which was mystery, usually if a wound was badly infected it would last for awhile longer than just 12 hours. Echo looked at Reena who was still quietly sleeping, she was really pretty he thought.

((sorry I havent been on much! College has been busy))
Reena twitched slightly at the morning light, shifting her self to hide from it, of course the waft of wolf meat caught in her nose, the thoughts of food bringing her stomach to life before really waking her up. Stretching a back leg out as she yawned sleepily opening one eye and then the other as she glanced around, Te'rah..had he stayed up all night? Of course that was the first thing she noticed, the second was that she was next to something very warm.
A squeaky little chirp of surprise escaping the female raptor as she suddenly got to her feet, she hadnt realized shed snuggled up to echo during the night! Had she slept like that by him the whole time! "Ahh..g-good morning" she cooed tail flicking nervously.

(( No Pressure. <3 ))
He couldn't help but chuckle at Reena's sudden outburst. It was...adorable in a sense. Like a youngin' with a crush. Had he really been like that when he was with...
Shaking the memory from his head, he stood up, giving a light groan. His muscles felt stiff from guarding all night, but his belly was full and content. Moving his stiff joints, he gave a slight yawn. "You children slept alright?" His voice was husked over, eyes seemed to be distant from lack of sleep. Other then that, Te'Rah showed no sign of fatigue.

"Children eh?" Echo snorted a little as he tried to pull himself up. One thing saw for sure his strength hadn't completely returned. "Te'Rah, thank you for bringing the meat and staying up all night," Echo was deeply indebted to the raptor. The truth was, the more he spent time with Te'Rah the more he liked him. He had a truly good dedicated side to him that Echo would have never guessed the punk raptor would have. "Did you sleep well Reena?" He asked.

"I am not a child!" reena said with a pouty growl, shaking her sleep off as she stretched out her limbs. Glancing from echo to te' rah "Were you up all night long rah? There wasnt any need for that im sure..still, thank you!" adding her thanks to echos with a smile, echo seemed to be doing so much better now, with the food and the rest. "Gruu..I slept alright..it was cozy actually." she admitted with a small smile, yes it was nice getting to sleep next to someone else, very warm to.

Te'Rah chuckled softly, shaking his head. "I've stayed up before. Nothing special." Flicking his tail, he began to walk in a tight circle stretching out dormant muscles trying to get his reflexes back. It was slightly a pain to him, physically, but it was good for him to be ready for anything.
Looking out of the cave, he sniffed the area giving a slight snort. "There seems to be nothing special about....but it's a little too quiet for my tastes.."

Echo pulled himself up, his muscles shook a bit, unaccoustum to his weight on his injured side. "What do you think we should do next? I'm well enough to walk I think," nodded Echo to Te'Rah. He smiled shyly at Reena. He wasn't a very good flirt, it was true. She seemed quite sweet and he wanted to get to know her better. He pondered what he should say to her and couldn't think of anything. Awkwardly he chewed on his toe claw. He felt like he should say something. "Uhhh thanks for keeping me warm," he blurted out, he couldn't think of anything else to say.
