I love Tidus' design! His clothing is very nice. 3nodding
Baha; I think Cloud looks cute. I'm glad they used his original outfit instead of his AC one.
I just can't get over how nice Terra looks. Her and Kefka make me so excited for Dissidia. <333

Yes! ^_^ Thaaaaank youuuu! I really like Terra's design too, and Kefka is, uh, creepy as ever. Bartz looks like Pit! xd

I'm just a little disappointed that Terra is the sole female hero. It would've been so much better if they'd used Faris instead of Bartz to represent V's hero, but Bartz is the main character, so I can kinda understand that one...

dissidia is giong to be a high speed battle system based game where you dive around, have combos, you can dash, jump, do practicly anything that has do with stuff based around that. One of my friends at school actually has a connection with somewhere, idk where, but the last posted release date for America is going to be around the summer of 2009. but one problem is that it has been tested and people keep on saying that the battle system is so advanced that it is 1) hard to understand at parts, 2) tends to be extremly hard at cirtain points because of the battle system, and 3) because the movements tend to be a bit to fast in some cases to control. Oh and they're supposed to be putting sephiroth into dissidia, so look forward to a fun battle. lol... yeah thats about all he told me, oh and he told me this basicly around Octoberish'ish'sh... yeah

You know, now that I think of it, they should've used 3 or 4 characters from each game (except the original, since there are primarily only 2 characters). That way, there'd be a nicer variety of characters, and there might be a few more of the girls to use. For example, add Faris and Gilgamesh from V, Rosa and (maybe) Zemus from IV, Locke and (possibly) Ultros from VI, Tifa and Hojo from VII, Rinoa and Adel from VIII, Garnet and Necron from IX, and Yuna (X-2 version) and Seymour from X. That's just my opinion, though...

More characters would be so fun, but I don't think it's would be such a good idea. Dissidia's actually got a lot of storyline from what I can see, and if they have to accommodate all these extra characters, that'll have to be sacrificed.
If anything, though, Yuna and Seymour would have been good for X. You get another girl, and there's still a good dynamic between the two characters. I'm sure they have their reasons, though. To make the gameplay work out well, they'd probably have had to go with gunner!Yuna. x_x
50 or more summons? eek Just... wow.

Shantotto has also been added to represent XI. She's an ultimate mage, or something, and it's very difficult to obtain her.
Also, there's some rumors that XII might possibly be added. I'm crossing my fingers for Ashe, because then there will be at least 4 females (including Cosmos.)

Yeah, I saw that! Just one character for XI, though? I wonder how that'll work. As for XII? The game is coming out in less than two weeks, though. There can't be much more they're going to reveal before then, but here's hoping.

But, there was an interview someone posted in the Dissidia thread in the FF subforum that said:

Maybe if it's someone from XII, they'd probably go with Gabranth. I guess you could have called him somewhat neutral... confused But maybe I'm saying that becuase I actually want him to be the XII character...=/
