Your Name: cursedandwandering Prompt you chose: prompt #2 Temper you wish for your foal to have (doesnt have to reflect prompt just what would you like them to have if you win): gloomy READ RULES, do not PM anyone _______ them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: discouraging Prompt Response: (im rping it as a male named vergessene ) A young foal stumbled as it took its first few steps, a basket lay shattered only a few feet away, discarded. The foal blinked sleepily letting out a soft yawn, just before its knees buckled beneath it, its eyes snapping wide open as it became more alert to the bright colors and sounds.
Vergessene tilted his head looking at the vibrant greens and deep chocolate browns the colors amazed him. He carefully tried to get up, pushing gently off the ground with wobbly knees. Slowly the young foal made his way towards one of the trees nudging a green thin leaf with his nose curiously, before recoiling as a cold drop of dew fell onto his head. Yawning the colt glanced around again exhausted by his efforts to get out of the basket and by all the new things surrounding him, he lay down and slowly drifted off to sleep, a tranquil smile on his face.
When he woke nothing had changed, or had it? Vergessene looked around through the trees, a small gray squirrel ran through the underbrush nearby, startling him. The colt jumped slightly surprised by the small creature and he stood up feeling a mixture of fear and curiosity. Edging towards the bushes, he peered past the green leaves spotting the furry tail. His eyes widened as he stuck his head into the bush to peer at the thing. He was no longer alone , how good that felt, but he couldn’t figure out why, why just seeing this fuzzy thing made him feel happy. He peeked out of the bush turning his head to the side. There was nothing else there, no movement in the bushes, everything was perfectly still, until a gust of wind blew the leaves about. The colt shivered, a look of surprise on his face as his body moved on its own accord, he turned back to the squirrel watching it happily.
“H-hello…” the strange sounds came from his throat and he furrowed his eyebrows not sure what had just happened. The squirrel turned its head and looked back at him, its head tilting to the side to eye him warily, as it clutched a large acorn in its tiny paws. The colt smiled not wanting to scare the fuzzy creature away. The squirrel continued to peer at him before nibbling at the acorn, deciding the colt was not a threat. Vergessne sat down to watch, as the squirrel finished its acorn to peer at him animatedly tilting its head from one side to the other. Vergessene continued communicating to his small friend silently now, as night began to fall.
A pair of glowing yellow eyes appeared in the bushes, a fox, eagerly staring at its prey. As the fox crept forward, crouched low to the ground, the squirrel peered over in its direction and it froze. A low snicker left the foxes lips as its muscles tensed, it sprung from its hiding spot grabbing the squirrel in its jaws.
“N-no!” Vergessene yelled his eyes wide “leave my f-friend alone!” The fox glanced at him with a sly smirk as it started prancing away its trophy in its mouth. The colt filled with rage, his small body only able to contain one emotion as he raced towards the fox. The anger propelled the foal towards the creature and he rammed his head into its side, the foxes eyes widened as it dropped the squirrel and ran, glancing back at the colt with a glare.
Vergessene looked down at his friends still body, he nudged it gently but the squirrel didn’t move. He had been to late, but the colt couldn’t understand why his friend was laying there, broken. He frowned, his eyes watering as he glared intot eh bushes where the fox had run off. He broke into a run heading into the bushes his eyes blurring making it difficult to see, he tripped over a small branch and fell flat, the tears finally streaming down his face.
“M-my friend” He sobbed not even trying to get up. For awhile he lay there crying until he could cry no more. His eyes dry and red, Vergessene stood and started walking through the bushes his head looking down at his feet gloomily, for dispair was all his small body could contain. He walked with no purpose, nor direction or anything else to guide him, he just walked, until all could be forgotten.

Prompt you chose: 1 Temper you wish for your foal to have : Clumsy/Bubbly READ RULES, do not PM anyone _discouraging_ them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: disgouraging Prompt Response:
The foals eyes wandered as she ( I'ma say its a girl O_O ) let her eyes wandered. She jumped once as something landed on her back. Syrey looked to see a smalled red butterfly land on her. She giggled as it flew off her and she chased after it but tripped over her own hooves. She laid in the dust her parents not noticing and still saw the butterfly. She still tried to chase it as she wandered out of the trail and deeper into the dense forest. It seemed so shiny for some reason until darkness fell on it and Syrey could not see. She blinked as she fell back a bit hitting her back side hard into a tree and into a branch. She jumped and bolted forward as she looked for the sky. The colt was lost. She squeeled as she lost sight of in general anything living. She pushed her mane as she backed farther and farther back until she heard the buzzing of a dragon fly and the roars of a river. Her hoof lost land and she pulled it back and looked at the river flowing before her. She gasped. " Mommah!" She yelped as she searched everywere. She was lost. More lost then she had known before. She jumped around and still nothing came. She looked around no mares no stalltions no butterflies. Nothing. She started down the river until it became so dark out. She started to sulk " Papah... Mommeh..." She whined. She was a colt that wanted home. She started to slip and her front hooves were in the water but she was able to pull herself up. Then she felt another butterfly land on her and she became drenched in rain as clouds swarmed to look at the lost foal. She looked up and the butterfly started to glide. She followed it as she saw the small cave and big blinking eyes staring at her. Her mother seemed to call and she came in and was nuzzled by a few farmiliar mares and stallions. She was brushed and she felt her parents relief. She was so lost and now found. " I love you mommah and papah..." She said lightly as she watched the rain drizzle and her tiredness drifted over her.

Your Name: ~Spazzy_the_Wolfie~ Prompt you chose: Prompt Numbah 2~ Temper you wish for your foal to: Defensive READ RULES, do not PM anyone _______ them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: Discouraging. Prompt Response:
"Urgh! I-it's too small!” Wapasha [['Red Leaf' in Dakota.]] let out a soft snort through his nose as he bumped and rubbed against the wicker insides of his basket, rather uncomfortable in his compressed state. He had been trying to escape from within his temporary abode for about an hour now, and hadn't made much progress, besides nipping open a small bit of the weaved object. Peering out through the thin slit, the colt could barely see what appeared to be blobs of different colors, some of them moving about. Some more slowly than the rest, others quicker. Not that it mattered, however, as all of the movements caused Wapa’ to gain a small headache. Brows knitting together, he snorted once again. "Enough of this! I want out!"
Giving a light kick in front of himself with a hoof, Wapasha finally managed to budge the lid of his basket, tumbling out of it roughly. He let out a whinny of surprise at his escape, coming to a stop when he landed on his side with a soft 'Thump'. His small ears flicking back against his head as he glanced around frantically, the colored blobs he had seen from inside his woven home now filling his vision completely. Wapa's eyes widened, blinking rapidly at how bright it actually was outside.
Then.. The noises!
'Thu-thu-thu-thu-thud! Tap.. Tap... Thu-thu-thud!'
The repetitive sound of a woodpecker's bark tapping nearby could be heard. One of the colt's ears flicked up at the new sound, curiousness overcoming his fear of this new place. ”Wow.. You’re a pretty thing, aren’t y-you?” The tickle of autumn shaded grasses against his belly also caught Wapasha's attention, causing him to look down at the ground with a tilt of his head. "Hm?.. P-pretty." A small smile tugged at his lips as the brown shades took form into thin strands, waving at the slightest breeze. He bent down, snuffling at the grass before giving it a nibble.
It tasted alright. Better than that basket of his!
Letting out a content smile, Wapa’ took a mouthful of the colorful strands around him, enjoying his first ‘real’ meal, not really eating it properly, with the grass falling out from the corners of his teething mouth with each gentle chew. Forms slowly began to take shape, and soon the foal was seeing the world as it really appeared. He was happy having something new to explore, and the now quieting sound of the woodpecker’s tapping made for some nice relaxing background music to eat his grass.. Suddenly, all hell broke loose!
Wapasha’s avian friend? It let out a sharp sounding screech at the boy as he nibbled at the grass, its slim beak gaping open as it stared at the world-curious colt. Wapasha let out a short gasp as he saw a quick moving form moving towards him, raising his head and letting the grass fall out of his mouth to try to get a better look at it, only to tilt his head in confusion. ”Why doesn’t it stop!? I can’t see it properly without it staying still!.. W-wait! It’s coming towar-”
Before he could finish his sentence, the aggravated bird rushed at him, swooping multiple times over Wapa’ and pecking at his head. The colt let out startled and pained cries, giving a flick of his tail and ducking his head, quickly attempting to stand up on his hooves to escape the painful attack. ”Leave me alone! Wah! Come on!” He cried out with an aggravated huff, quickly growing annoyed at the painful peckings and tugs his ears were receiving. ’Hrmph! That’s it! I’m fed up with this nonsense!” Wapasha thought in his head with a quick snort, puffing out his chest and rearing up wobbly, flicking and waving his front legs out at the bird wildly, nearly falling over a few times.
Unexpectedly, he suddenly struck the bird, knocking it to the ground with a hard ‘Whumph!’, it’s small body coming to a stop when it slumped into the dirt and grass underneath it.
Wapasha fell back onto his four hooves, bracing himself with rigid and shaking legs. Breathing slowly, with puffs of vapor coming up from his maw and nostrils, the colt slowly walked over to the downed bird. ”..P-pretty Color?...” He called out uncertainly, his ears flicked back against his head as he came up to the woodpecker, reaching out with a hoof and nudging the dead bird a few times, only to have it move back into it’s former place when he pulled back. ”What’s wrong? Come on, you can get up.. Oh! I know! You’re legs are probably just wobbly, like mine! I’ll help you out, Pretty.” He flashed the body a small smile, before reaching down to help rise his friends up and onto his feet.
Wapa’ nipped out at the bird’s neck roughly, taking a clump full of feathers and flesh in his teeth and lifting up slowly, only to hear a snap.
”Wah!.. W-what was that?!” He cried out, immediately dropping the bird on the ground and backing away, a little dribble of blood dotting his bottom lip. Giving a lick at his chin at the odd feeling, he stuck out his tongue, wanting the disgusting taste to go away. His ears twitched at the taste, eying the weird looking white colored stick jutting out from the bird's neck. He let out a slow breath at the unmoving form, tail seizing it's waving. 'T-this isn't good.. What's wrong with Pretty?' "Pretty! Get up!" He snapped out with a glare, his previous feeling of annoyance coming back to him, causing him to give a stomp of a hoof on the ground. Wapasha's eyes grew watery at the sight, his ears swiveling as blood started to surround the area around the woodpecker, taking a few more steps back.
”..Pretty Color won’t get up?... S-something's wrong!” Wapa' said in a soft voice, almost in a whisper as he moved away from the bird. His watering eyes almost caused him to stumble over his own legs as he made his way through the autumn toned grass. He wanted to get away from the 'broken' color.

Your Name: sbuggy166 Prompt you chose: 2 Temper you wish for your foal to have: color blind READ RULES, do not PM anyone discouraging them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: discouraging Prompt Response:
A brown basket sits in the middle of a clearing. tall trees with deep green leaves are swaying softly in the breeze. the lid of the basket wiggles. soft sounds come from inside. a fuzzy nose peeks from under the lifted rim. a full head appears, followed by a neck, body and tail as a new foal struggles to climb out of the basket. it wobbles a few steps before it plops down on the soft forest floor. the foal looked up in astonishment to see a bright blue sky with whispy clouds. he looked down and gingerly sniffed the warm scents of the earth. he giggled with delight at all the amazing things he was seeing. bright colors that wove in and out, making a tapestry of life and wonder.
Tasser looked back to this moment in his life with bitter sorrow. the bright colors that he had once seen were no more. the blue sky was nothing but a light grey. his world had died around him. for no longer than a month after his emergance from the basket did he learn of his defect.
he had lived in a tapestry of color and wonder. but as he grew older the colors faded away. reds and greens, blues and purples, and everything in between had become nothing more than dull blacks, whites, and greys.
he remembered rushing to his mother in a panic. screaming in fear as everything changed. the words that she had used that day pierced him to the soul. two words that would forever change his life, sending it spiraling down "Color Blind" it had felt like his world was going to end.
but that was back then, now Tasser had grown. he had tried everything to get the colors back, but to no avail. like the colors that had faded from his life Tasser's soul had faded from his body. nothing made him angry or joyful. nothing made him happy, while at the same time nothing made him sad. except for the first memorie in his life...the very first colors he had seen. he felt nothing any more. depressed and bitterness was all that lived in him. black and white were the only colors that wove in his tapestry now.

Your Name: Lady Angel of Death Prompt you chose: 01 Temper you wish for your foal to have (doesn't have to reflect prompt just what would you like them to have if you win): Cheerful READ RULES, do not PM anyone _______ them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: discouraging Prompt Response:
The young foal was excited about going for a walk with everyone. He was already behind stopping to look at everything around him. His eyes move over the area. He looked back to the others ahead when he saw a rabbit scurry past. He stops and looks around. The rabbit was gone as if it never crossed the path.
He heads off into the small patch of forest ahead to see if the rabbit ran in there. His little eyes moved over everything as he looked for the rabbit. He stopped once he realized the forest was growing darker. He was deep inside and did not know his way back.
Every thing around him seemed the same no matter witch way he went. His heart began to race as he heard sounds around him in the forest. The trees moving in the wind to the bushes moving. It all scared him. He lowers his head and ears. his small body shook from the fear.
All of a Sudden the rabbit ran by again. He took off after it. Maybe it would lead him out of here, but soon he lost the rabbit again. His was still shaking. he had been here for a few hours not and the sun would soon be setting.
He laid down his eyes watery and tears starting to fall and looked around. His mother always told him to stay close. Now he wishes he would of listened. from behind him he heard sounds of hooves. Was it his family. He quickly stood shaking his head and drying his tears.
From the distance came a small group of deer. They stopped seeing the boy. He moved over to them "Have you seen my Mommy?" He asks His voice was shaky as he looked up at them. He lowered his head and ears in fear.
The female looked down at him. "We have not seen and Soquili but you Dear... But maybe if you come with us to the watering hole by the main path we can find them." She smiled lightly. Her voice was soft and kind. Behind her leg hid a small deer. the deer looked around her mothers leg to the young Soquili.
His eyes moved to the young deer then all the others. Most of the females had young with them. Off in the distance stood a large buck over looking everything. He looks back to the large Doe. "Thank you." He then moved over to the young doe. "Hello I am Koraro." He said softly to her. As the deer move he fallows them.
The young Doe looks at him again. "I-I am Lafoth." She smiles shyly.
He watches the others as they pass though the forest. Alot of the animals were heading to the watering hole before the sun set. He looks back at the other young deer playing. He noticed that Lafoth was shy and didn't even play with the others. He looks at her. "Why is it you don't play with the others?" He asks.
She looks at him. "B-because... T-t-they don't like me..." She looks down and lowers her ears. Her little tail tucked down and she becomes sad. She had a story behind her and she did not want to talk about it.
He watches her his ears drooping. How can some bee like that. She was a little shy... but not like her for it. Or was it her stutter. He smiles to her lightly then looks at the Doe that turned back to watch. he blushes lightly and looks around.
It was not soon that they hit the watering hole. once there the other scattered from the adults to go play while he and the young doe stood with her mother. He looked around but he did not see his family. He lowered his head in sadness.
The large doe looks down at them. "Why dont you two stay here and I will ask around about your parents." She smiles and heads of to the other animals. along the riverside.
He looks to the young doe again. "Would you like to play a game with me?" He asked. He watched her. His eyes moving over her face as she turned to look at him.
"I-I g-g-guess." She says. Her voice was still kind of she but she defiantly has a studded.
He smiles and nods to her. He then moves up and nudges her. "Tag." he says before moving off. He turns to see her blink for a moment before heading after him. She moves up and tags him before running off saying "t-t-tag." He fallows her as they play.
After a few rounds of this the large doe comes back with her was the young Soquili's parents. Excited to see them he runs over to them. "Mom Dad!!" He yells as he runs over to them He runs to his father and nuzzles agents his legs. His father looks down to him.
"Were have you Been?" He asks.
Koraro tells his father about his afternoon then calls over his new friend. "This is Lafoth." he said moving back over to her. "She is a deer." he laughs and looks to her. He watched her shy back and nudges her. finaly she talks.
"H-hello..." was all she got out. her form shaking.
He looks to her. "No need to be afraid this is my mommy and daddy." He says proudly. He laughs. He turns hearing his fathers voice.
"Its time to be going son."
He nods and says farewell to his new friend and her mother before fallowing his family down the riverside and out of sight. He hoped that some day they will be able to talk to each other again.

Your Name: XBlind-DarknessX Prompt you chose: 1 Temper you wish for your foal to have (doesnt have to reflect prompt just what would you like them to have if you win): Skittish READ RULES, do not PM anyone _______ them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: Discouraging Prompt Response:
A mournful howl rose above the frost covered trees. Naomh pressed closer to her mother's side. The mare turned her head and flashed a brilliant smile toward the quivering filly. Ahead of her King walked with his head up and his ears pricked to hear the tiniest sound that would announce danger. Though Naomh felt comfort in being with her family she couldn't help the urge to run forth and attempt to escape the dark forest in all it's queer majesty. Above her the cold silver light of the stars illuminated the path on which they traveled. Stiffly turning her head she looked into the treeline where invisable shapes danced, making the leaves rustle and twigs snap with disturbing pops. For a moment she thought she spotted two gleaming eyes peering at her through a bush laced with thorns. Elongating her stride she passed the place quickly and soon found herself plastered to King's muscular side. He looked down at her through kind and loving brown eyes. "All will be well dear one." His velvet voice assured. She desperately wanted to believe what he was telling her but found that she was unable to. Something just didn't sit right with her. Looking back at her mother she scanned her features for anything amiss, nothing. Turning her head and eyes back to the front she focused on the warmth of the powerful elder beside her. 'Father would never let anything happen to mommy or I.' She thought optimistically. With every bone in her frail body she knew this to be true. she had once heard her mother say that above all things King treasured family the most. Heaving a sigh through her constricting rib cage she released the tension that was building within her. Flicking her ears forward in an attempt to mimic her father she listened to the sounds around her. Crickets sang the song of the night while frogs helped them with the rythm. King smiled and looked down at her. "You see Naomh. It isn't all that bad." Looking up at her father through eyes filled with starlight she smiled. Her mother behind them laughed a melodic laugh. Upon returning her attention on the path ahead her eyes caught on a dark figure standing in their way. Every muscle froze and the entire family came to a halt. Standing with his body across the rode stood a large black stallion. Puffs of vapor rose from his flared nostrils. She could barely make out what seemed to be a strange tail with an arrow like thing at the end. Cocking her head she looked up to her father who was staring intently at the figure with a determined yet sullen light to his eyes. The black figure threw his head upward allowing the greasy tresses of his main to lift and fall back to his neck with a thump. Every muscle in King's body tensed as he watched the display that invited him into a duel. "Mutant." He hissed beneath his breath. The stallion laughed as though he had heard her father's comment and turned to face them. "I am so glad you remember me King." His voice oozed with sarcasm. Naomh couldn't take her eyes off of a brand that had disentigrated the fur upon the other's shoulder. It was that of a bird with it's wings spread and it's talons thrust out menacingly. Her mother moved beside her and looked down at her daughter then to her lover. "King.." She said delicately. King looked at her a moment and shook his head. "How sweet." The dark one interjected. King looked down at Naomh and smiled. "You and your mommy must walk without me for a bit." He said tenderly. Naomh looked up at him and then to her mother and back again. "Daddy, I-" King cut her off with a simple glance at her mother. She felt a gentle nudge on her back as the mare pushed her into the tree line. "Be careful." She spoke before vanishing after the filly. The next moment Naomh found herself running so quickly that she found it difficult to breeth. Her mother never once looked back or checked to see if her father had followed. It was as though she had become accustomed to this sort of a thing. A number of times she nearly tripped on uprooted trees or fallen trunks but something close to the fear of being separated pushed her onward. She attempted to match the tempo at which her mother's hoovefalls sounded but found it nearly impossible. One moment she was at her mother's flank and the next she was barely keeping tabs on the tail that seemed to act as a beacon. Momentarily her eyes were taken elsewhere when a gleaming light caught her attention. Something not so far off glowed through the black trees. She gasped when all of a sudden the guiding rump vanished and she got her small hoof caught in a root. She went down with a loud thud, her chin smacked against the cold hard earth. She lay there a minute, stunned, until she heard the frantic whinnies of her mother's call. Getting her legs beneath her she pushed herself into a standing position, she looked again in the direction from which the light had come but it was now gone. Though she could hear her mother she could not see her. Instantly it was as though someone had snuffed out the stars and left her standing in complete darkness. Everything around her seemed to move and lunge at her. Naomh's eyes shone white with fear and her body shook as it never had. Noises from the deep sounded all around her, growling to her left, rustling to her right, as shadow here, a shadow there. She didn't even realize she was backing up until her hindquarters bumped into a tree and caused her to have a fit. Her heart no longer beat in her chest but in her throat, her breathing became rapid and harsh. "MOMMY!!" She called out. No reply, not even an answering whinny from afar. Her instinct to run was overpowering but she couldn't force her muscles to go anywhere. She snapped her head to the left when she heard the sound of something walking toward her. Pressing further into the tree she hoped that somehow she would blend it. She kept her eyes fixed on a bush that blocked the way that the sound had come from. Though she knew it was coming she still jumped in surprise when a dark figure emerged. At first she thought it was the proud form of her father come to rescue her, but she soon learned otherwise. The same tattoo shown on his shoulder and a fresh wound marked with blood lay on his neck. Naomh knew that her father must have triumphed, otherwise the stallion would not be here. Even so, he was in very bad shape. He was favoring one of his back legs as though it had been hit with great force. Naomh couldn't supress a giggle at the knowledge that it was the handywork of her father. Instantly the stallions burning gaze found her. Her heart skipped a beat as a sickening grin twisted his features. He walked toward her, even with a limp, at an astoundingly fast pace. Not even the low hanging branches of the choking canopy would keep him from getting to her. Lowering his head to come to terms with her height he growled. "What better revenge upon your father young one, than to take you away." She rushed forward in an attempt to get away but merely bumped into his hard chest muscles. He looked down upon her with that sickening grin of his and laughed. "I am not so easily defeated, especially by someone of your stature." Unable to thing of anything else she dug her small teeth into the sensative skin beneath the shoulder. He yelped with surprise and took a step backward. Snarling he moved upon her again. "No more games!" He shouted. Raising up on his hind legs he threatened to force his hooves down upon her, ending her short life. In that instant she looked around for a place to which she could run. The entire area was blocked off by low hanging branches or trees that would reach out and grab someone as light weight as she. Just as he was about to come down something shot from the brush and hit the stallion with a crack that could only signifying some ribs being broken. He fell like a black heap upon the ground and struggled to regain his composure. She looked to the one who had saved her and saw her father's face illuminated by a tiny sliver of light that had managed to force it's way through the canopy. His neck was arched proudly but also in part because the ceiling was so low. "Are you alright Naomh?!" He called out in concern. The filly ran to her father bumping into his legs and staying put. Tears pricked her eyes as she intook the sweet smell of her dear dad, her hero. She felt his hot breath upon her as he inspected her for wounds. "This isn't over yet King!" Somehow the other stallion managed to stand and look at them through hateful eyes. "I will get you one way or the other!" Naomh noticed something that she hadn't before. Wings unfurled from his back, they looked more like dragon's wings than anything. He lifted off of the ground and broke through the top of the trees. She watched as the thin wings full of veins lifted him from the earth and carried him away. "Where is your mother?" King's voice questioned. Just as she was about to answer a rustling sounded to their right. King poised himself for another battle but relaxed his stance when his mate walked through. Walking up to her filly and mate she smiled. "That was interesting." King rolled his eyes and nuzzled her gently. "That is hardly the word." Naomh looked through the trees once again in search of the strange light that had separated her from her famly. Her father matched her gaze and looked down at her. "Naomh?" She looked up and shook her head. "I lost mommy because I saw a light through the trees." Her parents looked at one another with confusion. "It wasn't still, though I was running I could see it swinging." It was then that her mother let out another smooth laugh. "Like father like daughter." She said enthusiastically. King looked at her, not understanding at first, until he smiled. "A two legged's torch. They probably heard the racket and tried to find out what it was." Naohm looked at her father a moment. "Two legged?" Lowering her head she began thinking. "I hoped the light was something cooler than that." A chuckled rumbled from her father's chest. "Not truly like me, a bit harder to please perhaps." He smiled.

Waya trailed behind his family, he hadn't really wanted to go on this walk and it showed. Sighing, he looked around curiously at his surroundings. Mostly, they were just passing trees and it wasn't very exciting for the young colt and he was just about to give up on the boring surrounding and simply follow after his family when a flash of movement caught his attention. A rabbit! Waya liked rabbits, they were such fun to run with. Without thought, he was off like…well… like a rabbit.
Wind blew through Waya’s mane as he ran after the panicking rabbit and he was grinning against it. This was much more fun then simply walking down a worn old path. Blazing down new trails and feeling the wind against his face was one of Waya’s favorite pastimes and he never wanted to stop. Sadly, what he wanted didn’t work with what he could do and Waya had to stop in order to catch his breath.
By the time he was calm enough to go on, the rabbit was hidden in a hole somewhere, shaking slightly, and Waya had no idea where he was or where his family could be. Panic! flashed through Waya’s mind but luckily common sense won over. He might not know exactly where he was but he knew the direction he had come and if he simply headed back that way until he hit the path, it wouldn’t take that long to catch up with his family.
With the plan running through his head, Waya cantered somewhat calmly back. Several times he had to back track a bit because he had made a wrong turn but before too long he was right where he wanted to be, on the worn path heading toward his family. Trotting quietly, Waya had to grin when he spotted them up ahead. It seemed his little escapade had gone unnoticed by everyone and if he could just slip back in, he would be home free.
Sneaking quietly back into the rear position he held before he had left Waya let out a sigh when he was in place with no one the wiser.
“And where have you been!?” boomed from behind him.
Waya gulped and turned around to face his furious father, apparently he hadn’t been as unnoticed as he hoped. Slumping slightly, Waya prepared himself for the punishment that was sure to come but mentally he was chasing rabbits and feeling the wind in his mane.
Thanks for the chance! This was fun.

The air was heavy with the cool, fresh scent of rain. The sky a dreary grey with storm clouds gathering, threatening to burst at any time, relieving themselves of their burden. It was a day better for staying put, in small family groups, telling stories or playing games within the safety of shelter.
It had been mom’s idea from the start. Sis, brother, and I-mom and dad’s latest set of children- had come out of our baskets several weeks ago anyway, and so she decided it was time for us-now stronger and more independent- to get out and begin to really see the world. To explore under the watchful and loving eyes of father, while granting mom the illusion of the perfectly happy, perfectly normal, family which was essential for her happiness. And for mom’s happiness, which is of the utmost importance, dad was willing to do anything.
She’d had her heart set on the family outing being today, so irregardless of inclement weather, we would be going on a family walk today. Mom was giddy, bouncing happily from one hoof to another, waiting for us all to be ready. There were times when she acted more like a young filly than the adult mare she supposedly is, and this, this was definitely going to be one of them.
Mom bounced on ahead of all of us. She was chattering on and on excitedly about friends of hers we might encounter, or of birds or insects or plants. Whatever happened to catch her eye or fancy at the moment was fair game.
I’d really not wanted to come on this walk or family outing or whatever they wanted to call it, but I was the only one. So I’d been outvoted. It just wasn’t fair. Just because in a family of eleven-including mom and dad, though most everyone else was on their own- I was the youngest. It’s like what I tought or wanted didn’t matter.
A cute pout came over the colt’s face as he intentionally lagged behind his overly hyper and enthusiastic mom, excitable and curious siblings who were far too much like their mom for anyone’s peace of mind, and slightly more sedate dad. This whole walk thing just seemed pointless, and Tariq wasn’t happy to be there. His head lowered to look only at the ground ahead of him so he didn’t trip as he scuffed along in protest.
“Stupid mom’s with their stupid ideas of family bonding, and stupid indulgent dad’s who cater to their mates every whim…”Tariq grumbled unhappily, under his breath so no one could overhear his complaints.
All of a sudden there was a flash of color just in the corner of his sight. Black and red. Winged. Mom had once told them about other soquili called Flutters. They were like them, only they had butterfly like wings and could change their size. Tariq had thought it just some of mom’s crazy ramblings that had a habit of overexaggerating things. Could what he’d caught a glimpse of be a flutter? A shiver of excitement ran down his spine. He’d never met a flutter before. If it was a flutter, he could find it and make a new friend. New friends were always good. Even if it wasn’t, at least the search could be fun.
He reviewed the facts in his head. What he was looking for was small, and it was black and red, and he had seen it right over… there. That was where he would begin to look. Completely forgetting about his family, and the walk they were supposed to be taking together, he knelt down to begin the search. Even ignoring the wind which had begun to blow harder. Tariq focused everything on finding his new friend Red. At the least it was some bug or beetle-not really the best “friend” type material, but it was possible to work with. But there was also the possibility of it, “Red”, being a Flutter, another soquili who could be his friend.
As Tariq turned off of the path and worked his way over to where he’d first noticed it, the wind started to die down somewhat as the sky began to cry. As the rain was light… well, a little rain never hurt anybody, and it wasn’t anywhere near enough to deter him from his mission. Mission: Find Red. Lowering further to get closer to the ground, Tariq was careful to nose each blade of grass and overturn each rock that might be big enough to hide Red. He disturbed crickets and grasshoppers, spiders, ants and other creepy crawlies. But there was no sign of butterflies, flutters or anything of that nature. He was starting to get discouraged.
“Hey Red, here Red, where are you Red?”
Almost as if coming out of a trance he straightened up, easing to his legs stretching muscles to long kept in one position. How long had he been searching? A sudden thought struck him, and he reared up in shock. He was supposed to be taking a walk with his family. Where were they? Did they even notice that he was missing? And more importantly, just where was he?
He didn't recognize where he was. In a mild panic he whinnied frantically, deciding to stay in one place hoping they would find him there.
"Dad? Mom? Where are you? Dad?"

Your Name: Queen Quin Prompt you chose: 2 Temper you wish for your foal to have (doesnt have to reflect prompt just what would you like them to have if you win): Independent READ RULES, do not PM anyone _______ them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: Discouraging Prompt Response:
It was night time and all was calm and peaceful, it was a beautiful mixture between serenity and harmony, the breeze was cold and it whistled as it danced in and out of the trees. Anyone could tell the angels of the woods where singing encouraging new life to bloom and become apart of the world. Like sirens tempting youngsters out of there baskets and to the reality which they would live until they die. Then there next jouncy begins. A basket was placed under a tree. Its coloring with quite natural, some Soquili where brightly colored with some accessories and looked very grand. This little basket though was quite plain, if you skimmed across the ground you would probably miss it because it was the same color of the tree behind it. In a way it reflected the scene. Nature itself represented in the small package it was, despite it lack of 'flash and bling' It was beautiful just like all of the lords creations. Then again who would take so much time to look in so much detail of such a small and defenseless creature.
It was a cold night, so much so Jack Frost has sprinkled his dust over the land blanketing all that was in site. On a night like this the moon shone and the stars sparkled, forever burning with an addition to look down on the world below and watch as time progressed the many stories that had happened and the ones about to begin. This night, this beautiful night was ordinary like every other, a cloud came overhead... now the air changed a quite sinister feel was now in it. Suddenly the lid on the basket began to life up, a small nose pushing it. Every time it did the blasted thing seemed to fall back into place. Eventually after much effort the lid finally fell of. The little one opened her eyes and looked over the top. A small neigh escaping her lips as she struggled over the side. Her body flopping and hitting the ground with a small 'thud'
She opened her big brown eyes and looked out on the world she had been waiting to come into. It was dark and not what she expected to say the least. Her ears flopped a little disappointed no one seemed to be here. It was quiet all besides a slight rumble that she could her in the distance. Her neck arched as she whimpered. Then 'it' happened. Some moment stay in your mind forever so much so they swallow you. These are what shape you and in these precious holy seconds, the first of which this little girl has ever seen, snatched away all chances of her dream being a happy one. She wanted this so much this world, It was the center of all her imagination and excitement in the basket unknowing one day she was going to be apart of this much bigger place. Hopefully leaving her mark in history like many have done before her.
A massive beam of light hit the ground at the other side of the field. Making a loud boom! she did not know what it was but she screamed trying to get back into her basket. It was an action completely not thought threw, she had very weak legs and the panic made her clumsy and disorientated. She did not want to be here anymore she saw flames at the tree where the lightning had struck. It scared her and she wished she had never left her little home. It was no use being so young she could not pull herself back in. The noise had disturbed the Soquili sleeping near her. A large brown one came over to comfort her, she would come to know him as 'father.' He had a warm Aura around him it made her feel safe if only for a little while but she still was very scared, she shivered tears running down her delicate little face. An experience like this was enough to drive anyone crazy especially one who's mind is clear and empty of distractions and knowledge.
After the night was over everything seemed more colorful and all her brothers and sisters seemed so happy, but... not her. She was scared her dreams and thoughts haunted by that moment. A unfortunate event that unraveled itself the second she came into the world. It made her think if that is how this world greeted her what would it be planning, does this mean that she is going to do something bad? was that a warning? It was all confusing especially for someone so long.
'Put on a smile, pretend to be brave, then when you are on your own then you can be sad'
It was the rule she lived by. It was a law after all why should others know why she was scared, she thought if they knew they would hate her, after all she is the one that was punished at birth. Someone who was warned back to darkness before they even touched the light.
[okay this is my first time rping >.< so sorry for the rubbishness] [might edit this to make it more detailed later xD sorry just too tired to do it now]

Your Name: : Little Fishy Prompt you chose: One Temper you wish for your foal to have (doesnt have to reflect prompt just what would you like them to have if you win): Jubilant READ RULES, do not PM anyone _______ them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: Discouraging Prompt Response:
Tail swishing behind her, Woniya trailed behind her family, not much for sticking between them all as they walked; it blocked her view of everything as they passed by. She enjoyed stopping to literally smell the flowers, quite curious of everything in general.
Ears perking, a bright plant caught her eye, causing her to do a complete one-eighty, veering to the side of the trail they followed. It was so pretty! That meant it was tasty... right? Her ears were completely straight as she sniffed at it, gave it a light nudge with her nose, before leaning to chomp it gleefully. The young filly gave a small whinny of her approval before turning and strutting along, her head high, very well postured, as she munched the flower.
In her mini escapade of flower chomping, she hadn't noticed her family had taken another route from where the trail split into two. Blindly the foal continued, marching down the opposite of which her family had went. Finally, it was brought to her attention she was alone and had not succeeded in catching up, even though it had been a minor side thought.
Uh-oh... Ears straight again she looked around, following her tail in a tight circle to see in all directions. Her family was no where to be found! A bush rustled, causing her to start and lope a few feet away, eying it suspiciously. Where was her daddy? And her mommy? She shivered lightly, looking around a bit frightened. It... wasn't too bad. There were several trees around her, but when she looked back the direction she had come, she could no longer see what trail she had come off of as another had winded into it from a side.
"Daddy...!?" She gave the small cry as a plea to be saved and, also, in hope to hear something familiar, hopefully which would be her father or someone. She tried to listen as she backed up a bit, trying to find something solid to hide her rump with. Succeeding, she sat down against the tree, watching around her. What would she do now?
Glancing up the trail, it seemed a bit gloomier, then she glanced back down from which she came. It was a bit brighter, foliage didn't seem as dense. Little did she know, the forest was merely a crossing through to get back out to the plains.
Woniya ended up pouting instead of going anywhere. Why had her parents abandoned her? They just kept on going leaving her to her own demise. Well, not really... right? Not thrilled by her current options she looked back up the trail in to the gloom. That couldn't lead anywhere good could it?
Just then she heard a rustling above... a skitter... She tried to follow the sound with her eyes. Then there was something in front of her. "Agh!" Woniya scrambled in blind terror, trying to back up into the tree but failing miserably as her legs got tangled, causing her to drop like a rag doll.
She flinched expecting to get eaten or have something pounce on her, but when she heard a little chitter... it was a bit surprising. Ears perking she opened an eye to peek around. Where...?
A chipmunk! The little squirrel-relative sat and watched her curiously, causing a bit a of embarrassment to flood her. How silly! Glancing down, she moved to untangle herself but only furthered her embarrassment by toppling back over and rolling, landing with an 'oof' before the other animal.
Okay... A bit slower this time... Looking at her feet, she wobbled a bit as she finally got up; her legs were a little shaky, but only momentarily. She gave a smile, proud for the moment as she leaned her neck down to the chipmunks height. "H-hello... Would... you happen to know which way is out?"
Her tail waved a bit behind her as she waited, expecting the other to do something, but wasn't quite prepared as it scampered off up the trail, its tail flicking behind it. "Oh! Hold on! Wait up! Don't leave!" She whined lightly as he hurried after, getting her legs moving. Right before she caught up, it started off again. Oh! Maybe it was leading her!
She grinned at the realization, following a bit more eagerly. It was only about a hundred yards when she spotted the trees thinning and the sun shone through quite a bit better. Like the sun, her mood was brightened considerably. She cantered to the opening whinnying a bit when she spotted her family.
"Yay! Thank you so much!" Boy, had she learned her lesson! The meadow seemed to glow in her happiness as she loped from the trees heading for her family. "Daddy!!"
The chipmunk stuck around momentarily before climbing back into a tree to busy itself with what it had been doing.
-figured she'd give it a try- Thank you for the chance ~ xD <3

Your Name: Nuclearity Prompt you chose: Prompt 1 Temper you wish for your foal to have (doesnt have to reflect prompt just what would you like them to have if you win): Naive READ RULES, do not PM anyone _______ them or in the thread. What is the missing word?: discouraging Prompt Response:
Named Tawny, somewhat reflecting the colors of the basket.
Tawny strode behind her parents solemnly, her head sunk down low. Every step seemed to tire her far more than it should have. 'Why must we have these stupid walks anyway?' the youngest foal's mind and spirit walked alongside her, rather than being one with her body, or so she felt as she left yet another resentful hoof print in the dirt. She could imagine how she must look, a worn out filly dragging herself through a family walk.
Then she saw it.
A flash of colors not unlike her own fluttered by her, leaving Tawny curious. Almost instantly, and most obviously without any thought put into it, the filly spun about. Now facing the direction opposite in which her family were traveling, she spotted it once again. She locked her vision onto it with naive eagerness, afraid to lose it. "It" was a grand monarch butterfly which had just happened to land upon a pristine crimson flower. As she approached it, time and space appeared to stand still. Barely a breath escaping her lungs, her eyes widening with every centimeter of space as she closed into it, she was finally standing over it. "Our pelts are so alike..." a whisper escaped her throat. Soon as she had spoken, the bug spread its glorious wings and flittered away, leaving the filly staring after it in awe.
Coming to her senses in what seemed like ages, Tawny blinked, gazing around. She knew exactly where she was, several feet away from the trail their walks took place on daily. She had no clue, however, as to where her family was or how she was going to get to them. Whimpering, her head swiveling about frantically at the shocking realization, she cried out, "Mo~om?" Her voice quivered, faltering at the last note, "Da~ad?"
No response.
Her body quivered. She felt cold, regret, and loss all at the same time. This blend of emotion was shoved away into a corner of her mind as soon as she saw the swish of a memorable black mane. "Dad...?" This time her voice was but a feint whisper, cautious. Whoever it was jerked about instantly, as if her whisper were instead a shrill cry. Even though King's face was infuriated, Tawny shone a feeble yet delighted smile, rushing up to him, "Daddy!"
Of course she would get a lecture -- more likely than not several -- from both of her parents and perhaps even a sibling or two! Even with this knowledge, her smile ceased to falter, her naive gratefulness overcoming all. In her mind, she thanked everyone and everything; her luck, her loving parents, even the butterfly for showing her the faults in her actions. It was better to learn late than never, wasn't it?
