“Oh really?” he chuckled, “well that is a compliment indeed! I’ve seen females hunting before- they’re amazing. I could never match them for speed.” Boy, but would it be cool if he could. Zooming over the rogue lands like some kind of massive cheetah certainly seemed like fun.
Hearing that a cub was tending to him had Jethro a little baffled. “Really? A cub? Well, I suppose she must know what she’s doing if she’s gained your faith. I’ve never known a skilled healer before. At least, not a cub.”

Following the other’s gaze towards the jungle, Jethro smiled. “I’m actually going to head back to my home soon. My family and I are thinking about starting a pride. The more I think about it, the more it seems like a good idea. You think prides are good, right?”

He nodded and chuckled slightly. "They are! That's what makes them such great hunters. They can speed after anything if they choose." He wondered how the huntresses in his pride were doing or if his sister had joined them yet.
Eyal's tail twitched as he glanced over. "Heh... she knew what she was doing after she consulted her mother. I spent the first few days without any fur in places when she messed up a plant but after seeking her mother's council..." He gazed back at his leg and nodded to it. "Its doing better. Probably always will bother me the older I get. That's how battle wounds are."

The lion's green eyes lit up with passion. "It sounds like an amazing idea! I'm out here on a mission for my pride. There is no greater honor then protecting and serving my King." He missed Rotem terribly and for a moment it betrays in his eyes. "But yes, I think prides are excellent. They keep order and keep everyone safe and strong."

“I suppose so,” Jethro replied. In all honesty, he didn’t do a lot of fighting, though, not because of lack of skill. He was quite a brute when it came right down to battles, he just didn’t like to show it. The male was more of a pacifist when he could pull it off, never wanting to fully engage in confrontation. Most supposed that line of thinking made him weak. Maybe it did, but he wasn’t about to argue them on the matter.
That would defeat the purpose of being a pacifist in the first place.

“Well, I’m glad it’s nothing that will trouble you too badly. Your friend and her mother must be very skilled. I can’t even fix a small bump on the head, much less anything obtained from a battle.”

Hearing about the pride with such a positive reinforcement only made him more excited. “Oh yeah? That’s fantastic!” Though it seemed he had brought up a touchy subject. The male suddenly seemed sad. “Well… I hope mine will pan out. Well not MINE, completely. Three of us will run it together. So! I suppose we should be parting ways soon. Time’s getting on and I don’t want your little friend to be worried about you.”

"Yes I suppose she is..." He responds flicking his tail and gazing at the scar on his shoulder. He gazes back at the other male and gives a smirk. "Well I wish luck to you as well just make sure to be wary. Prides run by groups can experience a bumping of ideas and can turn dangerous. Make sure you both trust and keep an eye on your allies."
He gives a look toward the jungle line and dips his head. "Yes. I suppose I should before she decides to try and ground me." He gives him another smirk then starts to limp away. "Thank you again for our kindness. I can only pray you get it back ten fold." With that he's gone into the shadows of the trees.
