Koori stayed on the net, wincing as the electric current ran through the water in her body. Fortunately, the ice in her body made it so that it wasn't super effective. It still hurt like heck though.
Zen studied the current situation. It wasn't good, not at all. He needed some kind of miracle for this to work out. But no way either he or Koori were holding back.
"All right Koori, this one's from the old days. Trump Card!"
Koori grinned, remembering this move from when she was an Eevee. Focusing the energies in her body, she released a breath, and four card looking objects. Using the net as a springboard, she pounced at Aeon, cards swirling around her. [400/1000]

Spinning cards? That was so Kingdom Hearts two! Pointing at the ice pokemon, Jen started to playfully tease the duo. "Hey Zen! I didn't know Koori was a fan of Luxord!"
Aeon dived under the card edges as Koori flew past. Doubling around, his tail began to glow as the Raichu charged up another Iron Tail technique. Grabbing the edge of the platform, he used it to thrust himself forward before spinning his tail in a whip-like motion at the Glaceon.

Dang. Koori was really off her game today. It was the field, Zen could just tell. The stupid lava field. Her fur wasn't made for the heat, it was meant for the chilly environments. Oh well though.
"Shake it off Koori, and use dig!"
The Glaceon hissed as the tail hit her smack in the forehead, causing a slight dizziness. On her master's orders, she dove into a pillar, spiraling. Once she felt Aeon was around, she popped out with a ferocious look in her eye.

Aeon glanced this way and that, looking for his icy opponent before suddenly being slammed into another pillar; the force of the attack caused the pillar to crumble and fall apart right on top of Aeon.
Thankfully, the net held against the heavy rocks. All it did was simply lower closer to the magma below.
After a few moments, Aeon burst out from under the rock pile with a furious expression on his face. The bruises and scrapes didn't matter, neither did the bleeding bite mark on his arm. All that matter?
Seeing Koori go down!
With a wild battle cry, Aeon bounced/ran over to the Glaceon as his paw began to glow a bright white.
Jen simply watched with amusement. Or would have, had the ref not glared in her direction. Okay, time to stop being a lazy trainer! Straightening, Jen waved and pointed at Koori with flourish.
"AEON! BRICK BREAK!"
With another wild yell, the Raichu lauched himself fist-first at Koori.

Well, that was that. Aeon hit Koori smack in the face, causing her energy reserves to just give out. Poor girl couldn't take the heat. Literally, and figuratively. As her light cyan body slumped onto the net, Zen recalled her into the safety of the pokeball.
"Good job, Koori. And good match to you two as well. Maybe Koori will win next time, when you don't have the unfair advantage." He winked, showing Jen it was meant to be playful.
"See ya guys later."
