Kale looked in his eyes for a second, making sure she had his consent and hopefully calming his nerves some. You couldn't really trust someone who always avoided your gaze after all, it seemed untrustworthy. That done she dropped her head to inspect his wound. Tutted her tongue, sniffed at it briefly then buried her nose in her pouches.
It was a deep slash, claws obviously. She squashed her curiousity instantly and focused on her task. A few dried leaves that had painkilling properties - a tad numbing - were shoved in an empty half gourd bowl and she mixed in something to ward off infection...
"This poultice should be better than loam mud and if we bind it tightly with some vines you should be able to walk on it without any pain. Now...let's see if we can get you healed!"
