Noah laughed slightly at the idea of it, though he was worried that that might truly be the outcome. Sure, Adhi had never caused too much trouble before, but she also hadn't been out of the house very much; who knew what kind of nonsense she could get herself into, thinking that it was better than just sitting around. "We can just hope we catch them before that happens," he replied with a nod, checking in each of the rooms that they passed for the two spawn, wondering where they'd gotten to.
Adhara grinned at the compliance of this other girl, and she herself tried to climb the railing. Having never tried such a thing before, it took a few tries, and a few hard flaps of her wings for her to finally get to the other side. She glanced up at the model, trying to find a way to get inside of it, or just on top of it. "Hmm... how d'we get inside, do ya' think?" she asked 'Zuba, walking around the thing and prodding at it, getting a bit irked as her attempts continued to be fruitless.

Nataya flitted ahead, her wings twitching nervously as she helped with the search, biting her lip lightly. How on Earth those two had disappeared so quickly was a wonder to her....why couldn't they find them just as fast?
'Zuba walked up to the metal monstrosity, on clawed finger tapping against her lip. She wasn't seeing anything.... She then reached out, tapping it. Maybe it was solid? But no. There was a distinct "ping" and an echo. It was hollow. She stepped back from it, looking a bit frustrated. An idea then hit her. "Under?" she suggested, wondering if the spaceship was like a piece of playground equipment she'd seen.

Adhara took the time to look around the large model as well, and when 'Zuba tapped, she listened, also coming to the conclusion that the rocket had to be hollow inside. If that was the case, though, would there even be anything interesting inside of it? Oh, well; it was still worth a try. At the other toddler's suggestion, Adhi blinked her amber eyes a few times, before glancing in her friend's direction and smiling almost deviously. "Good idea," she commented, before walking to the place where the rocket met the floor and dropping to her knees. She hooked her fingers in every groove she could find, trying to pull something out or pull something open. Finally, she found a couple of hinges that were hidden in a shadowed part of the monstrous creation, and she hooked her fingers beneath the small crack between the floor and the model, and pulled outward.
The door gave way easily, pulling outward and open, revealing... well, a very dark portion of space within a space ship, which seemed rather backwards to the little spawn. "You were right, 'Zuba! Found it~" Adhi exclaimed happily, gesturing her half-and-half friend toward her and sneaking into the cavernous space. At first, it seemed like there was nothing in it. She was forced to wait for her eyes to adjust to the lack-of-light, where she discovered a few little things, none of which were that interesting, and then a ladder attached to the lower side of the rocket ship, that lead upward. She pointed to where the tip of the rocket would be from the outside, though they couldn't see the end of the ladder in the current minimal lighting. "What do you think's up there?" she asked, wondering if, perhaps, the ladder never ended and, in fact, lead into outer space.
Out of the corner of his eye, as they passed yet another room, Noah could have sworn that he caught sight of a pair of white dresses and three wings. As soon as he doubled back in hopes of finding the children, he didn't see much. A room full of holograms, various dioramas, and a large model rocket ship. He sighed softly, rubbing at his temples. He was so desperate to find the kids that now he was imagining things. What was going on here?

'Zuba grinned, climbing up after her friend into the unknown area. She looked around, her eyes examining what little there was in here. It wasn't nearly as interesting on the inside as it was on the outside, but it was enough to keep her occupied. She glanced at Adhara as she spoke, the turned her yellow-green eyes back to the object in question. She blinked, a bit confused. Didn't Adhara see that it hit another little hatch? The girl still hadn't quite realized that not everyone could see in the dark like she did. She looked back to her friend, smiling brightly. "'Nother door." she said, pointing to it.
Nataya was busy looking down the other side of hallway, taking a second before realizing Noah had gone back. She stopped, turning her head and looking at him curiously. "Did you see them?" she asked, making her way over to look into the room. She didn't see any of the littler ones....

"Really?" Adhara questioned curiously, peering as best she could into the darkness that lay ahead of them. "You can see really good, huh?" she asked with interest, wondering how the other girl could see in the dark, whereas Adhara generally had trouble seeing when she was in broad daylight; everything seemed to have a subtle blur around it, as it had always been, even back in the labs. One of her tentacles lifted to brush over 'Zuba's headwing once more, before touching her hair hesitantly, at which time Adhi pulled it away once again, irritated with it's constant show of affection toward anyone who was close enough to receive it.
"Well, if you c'n see it, I think you should go first, and I can follow after you, 'kay?" she suggested, waiting, then, for the half-and-half girl to start up the ladder, wondering where the door that Azubahiel could see would lead up to. Hopefully, it would be someplace just as interesting as the room that they'd just been in.
Noah took a few steps into the room after Nataya came up next to him, looking around the room with a mix of interest and wonder, hoping that the two girls actually were in there. He frowned softly, his search coming up with nothing, and he leaned against the railing around the rocket ship, rubbing his temples tiredly. "I could have sworn that I had seen them in here, but I guess I was wrong. Maybe they're in a close room, though?"

"Yup," 'Zuba said, nodding once. She then shrugged once. "Guess so." She seemed confused, but didn't say anything. She could ask questions later. A small giggle came from her mouth as her ear was brushed. She turned in time to see 'Zuba pulling it away, looking agitated, which confused her. Why would she be mad at it?
"Okay. Go up and follow." 'Zuba said, smiling slightly at the other girl. She started scaling up the ladder, her claws scraping along each rung as she ascended. As she reached the top, she pushed her hand against the door, expecting it to open easily. It didn't. Frowning, she pushed against it again, with little success. Frustrated, she punched it, sending it flying open. She crawled out, finding herself up ontop of the model. She sat on it, hugging the top as she tried to keep her balance. "Top." she called back down into the hole. She then looked down, seeing Noah and her sister. She could have called out to them, or said hi or something, but no. She just sat there, watching them.
Nataya nodded, sighing as she looked at some of the displays. "I hope so...they couldn't have gotten too far, could they?" she said, looking over to Noah. If she would have moved her gaze just a bit further up, she would have seen them, but it never occurred to her that they could possibly be in the exibit.

Once she took the tentacle back, it butted itself gently against her cheek, and she pouted once more, but pet it a little bit anyway, if only so that it would stop pestering her for a moment. By the time she looked up again, 'Zuba was already part of the way up the ladder, so Adhi took hold of the rungs and started climbing up behind her. Her tentacles, confused about the rest of her being off the ground, held rather tightly to the sides of the ladder, making it a bit difficult for the small spawn to get up to the top of the rocket's insides. When her friend spoke again, she looked up curiously, and grinned brightly at the thought of it being the top of the rocket ship.
When she reached the same place as 'Zuba, she merely peeked out of the door, feeling a little queasy from the height they were at, and the paranoia that the rocket was going to fall over. She looked around, and then caught sight of both of their guardians. Her wings drooped a bit, and she hid part of her face, worried that they were going to get mad if they discovered that the girls were on top of the rocket ship when they probably shouldn't be. "Psst, 'Zuba!" she whispered, trying to get the girl's attention without drawing attention to themselves. "I think we should go back down..." Her plan was to get down and out of the rocket ship and then slip outside of the gate without being noticed by either person. However, apparently she'd been speaking too loud...
"Adhara! What are you doing up there?!" Adhi squeaked and hid herself a little bit more, amber eyes going wide. "U-uhm... ex... ploring...?

"Why?" 'Zuba asked, blinking. Why did they need to go back down. Things looked so much better up here! She wasn't thinking of anything bad that could happen, or the fact they could get caught. She looked down at Noah as he talked, smiling innocently at him before looking to her sister. "'Lo, Nataya." she said, waving to her older sibling.
Nataya looked up, gasping. "'Zuba, come down from there! You might get hurt!" she said, getting the closest to disciplining her sister as she would probably ever get. "And you might get into trouble, which means I'd get in trouble to." She put her hands on her hips, trying her best to look as stern as Momma could at times.
'Zuba sighed. She didn't want to get down yet. "Can't." she said, pulling off the most innocent, harmless face she could muster. "Adhara on ladder. Might step on her fingers." That wouldn't be a good thing at all, would it?

Adhara fluttered her wings within the great model, and looked up at 'Zuba. She couldn't help but giggle a bit, both at her friend's older sister trying to be stern, as well as the split girl's reasoning for not going back down. She thought for a moment, and fluttered her small wings once more, giving her an idea, though it might not be the smartest. She looked down at the ground curiously. They were up high, yes, but they weren't too high; if they accidentally fell, it would hurt, but they wouldn't break anything. Then it was decided; she would go with her mind's first idea.
"I could fly us down, 'Zuba?" she suggested with a small smile. Immediately, Noah started objecting to this idea, but Adhara was ignoring him. She'd never had a chance to test out her metal-framed wings, and she saw this as the perfect opportunity. She took a couple more steps up the ladder, until she could sit on the edge of the door, pulling her wings out after her. Her tentacles clung to the sides of the small door tightly, as though they were afraid of heights more than the girl, herself, was, which they might have been. "Wan'na, 'Zuba?"

'Zuba ignored the thw older ones' objections. What did they know, anyways? Adhara had wings, so it was perfectly natural that she could fly. She grinned mischieviously, nodding. "Yes!" she said, chuckling. She stood, wobbling a bit but still managing to keep her balance. "Fly down." It sounded like fun! "Flap ear; fly better." she said, pointing to her winged ear. Hey, it was a wing too! It would help, wouldn't it? In her mind, she was positive it would.

Adhara grinned back at her friend, allowing the other girl to step down in front of her first. At the comment about her wing-ear, Adhara smiled and nodded a couple times. "'Course! That'll make it easier, too," she commented, glad that she would have help flying the two of them down. Her two tentacles wrapped themselves around 'Zuba's waist, and Adhara wrapped her own arms around the other girl as well.
Now that she was about to jump, of course, was when the nerve set in. She trembled a bit, her wings stretched out to their fullest extent -which wasn't all that much- and started flapping gently, slowly lifting her off her feet. She stepped forward when she touched down again, closing her amber eyes tightly and flapping her wings as hard as she could. It wasn't as though she didn't have faith in herself, but she certainly didn't believe it when they were actually in the air. Though she wasn't keeping them hovering, they were floating down at a nice pace, and soon touched to the ground, with a furious-looking Noah glaring at the both of them.
"Adhara Millicent By'arre, how could you do something so dangerous! You both could have broken your necks!!" This was, surprisingly, the first time that Adhara had ever seen Noah so angry, and thus released her friend reluctantly, looking down at her feet in embarrassment, until her guardian grabbed her hand. "We're leaving, right now. Here, Nataya, 'Zuba," he said, offering them the bag of pre-opened items he'd been forced to purchase on Adhara's behalf. "I hope you can find some enjoyment in these, and I'm sorry about the trouble that my daughter caused."
"But- Noah!! I don't wan'na leave yet- and that's my stuff that you're giving them, not your's!!" Adhara whined, quite near to the verge of tears. She looked back at 'Zuba and waved sadly with the hand that wasn't in Noah's grip. "Bye-bye, 'Zuba-heel..."

'Zuba looked down at the ground, worried a bit. If they fell, Adhara could get hurt, and that wouldn't be a good thing at all. She flapped her ear-wing as hard as she could, trying her best to help as much as possible. She couldn't believe they were actually flying! She grinned, despite the glaring adult. In fact, she didn't see why he was so mad.
"Didn't get hurt." she said simply, not seeing what was so dangerous about it. Or why her sister was spazzing out, picking her up and talking so fast she couldn't understand.
Nataya had been genuinely scared for the first time in her life. If they had fallen, she never would have been able to forgive herself. She took the bag, not sure whether to accept it or not. After all, the little one looked like she was about to cry. "I'm sorry for the trouble 'Zuba caused...." she said, looking down at the ground.
'Zuba frowned; she didn't want her friend to leave! She waved reluctantly, already aware that usually an adult's word was law. "B'bye, Adhara." she said, sad to see her friend go.
