The alligator girl definitely knew about rewards. Her dad had bribed her on many occasions to be a 'good girl' (some not so successfully as others) and Jasper wasn't above bribery as well. It was harder to get what she wanted from Jasper though. He was much trickier than her daddy.
"Oh." Yeesha paused to consider Zach's statements. It sounded fairly logical to the alligator girl, however there was something she had to ask. She had to cover all angles just in case she got on the bad side of the boy. After all, she didn't want to be stung. Then she would have to hit him and pull his... well, his jelly head hat. "But what if they do thomething bad by acthident and you hit them and make them thick?"

"Well. I say sorry, they say sorry, we take them to hospital." He nodded. Sounded perfectly reasonable to him!

"..." Yeesha tried to think of something intelligent to say, however she found that the jelly hat boy was right. Hospitals would fix anybody who was sick, so they would definitely help anyone who got stung. Huh. "They don't get mad at your for thtinging by acthident?" She asked, just to make sure. The alligator girl was sure she would be pretty unimpressed if she got stung by accident, but if he said sorry then maybe it would be okay. Maybe. If liked sushi, then it would be for sure.
"What'th your name anyways?" She asked, suddenly realizing that she didn't know his name. They couldn't be friends if she didn't know his name! "I'm Yeetha!"

"Zach." And, surprisingly, the little jelly boy smiled. He rather liked this girl. She wasn't frilly or a whore, like the TV told him girls were supposed to be! "We're friends now."

Yeesha returned the smile with her own toothy grin. "Good. Now that we're friendth, what do you want to do?" They would be at Rene and Zach's stop soon, but there was still time for them to do something exciting. Perhaps they should tell stories, or talk about the things they liked. "Do you like thuthi? I dunno if you've ever tried it but it'th really good! Do you know what it is?"

"I's never had it. What is it?" It was probably something nice. Zach didn't get to go nice places, on account of the fact that he wasn't a nice person. It was just like the kitty poster on his wall said: THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.

The alligator girl looked slightly appalled by the fact that Zach had never heard of sushi. Clearly the jellyfish boy had been living a sheltered life. That, or he just didn't go out to each much. Or maybe.... maybe he didn't eat sushi because it was like eating his friends! He was a jellyfish, and weren't they fish too? There was a possibility that she would offend him by talking about sushi but she shrugged that off easy enough. Yeesha didn't worry too much about offending people.
"It'th fith. Fith wrapped in rice and theeweed and it tathtes deliciouth! You can put all thorth of thtuff in them too like thpicy paste! What ith it called?"
"Wasabi," Jasper replied, without looking away from the road.
"Right. Wathabi. It'th real hot! Only amazing people eat it. You would eat it, right?"

Zach did, indeed eat fish. He liked it quite a bit. He'd never eat jellyfish or man-o-war, but only because he'd bit himself once or twice and didn't exactly relish the taste.
"It sounds good!" Zach nodded. "Where do you get it from? The store?"
Sheltered, he was a bit. He was also still young.

He thought it sounded good? Well then they really could be friends! Yeesha certainly wouldn't be friends with anyone who didn't like sushi. "You can get it from the thtore, but altho they have whole rethtauraunts dedicated to it! It'th thupothed to be really thpecial or something. All I know ith that it tathtes good. You thould try it thometime."
The car slowed to a stop and Jasper looked up in the mirror at the pair of them. "Here's your stop guys."

Rene counted out the fare and tip, handing him the money with a slight smile. She addressed Yeesha, however.
"Thanks for talking with Zach, Yeesha." It kept him busy and not hitting, so that was quite a nice change.
