RPGs... And not the boring storyless MMO type...
FF is okay, but hands down favorite?
Golden Sun.
I REFUSE to play Mario Tennis, since that's what we got instead of GS3...

Takarada Kaoru Heard of it, haven't played it. The fact that I haven't even played it using an emulator makes me sad. sad I love you both forever. heart
Point being, recently I've been addicted to the remake of the original game called Bionic Commando Rearmed. It's so perfectly duplicates the original game, physics and all, that you can even pull off the same cheap moves to avoid a platform. xd On top of that they added a much better story, more weapons, all of them upgradeable, a multiplayer deathmatch like mode AND coop, making it one of the best remakes of any old game I've ever played.
That being said I seriously suggest picking up, although you'll probably only find it online for PC, on Xbox Live, and PS3 as one of those downloadable games.....considering it's under 400MB and only $14.95 it's worth it.
Anyone realize that it's my absolute favorite game yet? rofl

I play a lot of the newer stuff, but I always find myself going back to the classic NES, Genesis, and SNES games.
Soul Calibur IV is pretty great, and I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics A2 right now.

Mmm.. games are absolutely delicious. That being said, I'm defintely just a casual gamer. I'll try anything but I suck hard at FPS's.. so I tend to stay away from them. Just happened to come across Portal today (Orange box = whoaaa) and loved it.. but I hate controls for FPS's... I loved what they did with Metroid Prime on the Wii...

I have owned every Final Fantasy game at one point or another in my life. Although through circumstance I do not own any consoles right now.
Currently I am hopelessly addicted to World of Warcraft, as I have posted about in the newly formed Gaming subforum.

Huh, when I was much younger "gaming" referred to RPGs and strategy games (mostly war time). And I'm no talking about the computer versions. I remember GenCon in the late 80s, watching some wargamers with their compasses, protractors and tape measures.

I was hooked on a computer game that my dad brought home, King's Quest 3. I learn about to spell better because that game. I play it so much, I can play it by heart, though I still have trouble with the spells. However, it MUST be typed in exactly for it to work.
