They really mean no harm and I understand how emotional one can be in your kind of state." Leaning forward, Dafina nuzzled her again. "I think you would be strong enough. And you are strong Dafius. When it comes to ones children a mother can do anything she puts her mind to. It can be frustrating at times, yes. But all you need to do is think whats best for you and your children."

" yeah im sure things will become complicated soon enough." Dafius niped at her mother with a grin. " i think it would be odd if i wasnt so stubbern and strong willed. but i do hope i raise my kids right just like you raised me right."
" whats this talk of kids about?" Ramus was always one to pop up at the most random times and seemed to love also coming up from behind which tended to shock everyone. eyeing both his mate and daughter, he had a raised brow. " care to explain?"

"You'll be fine, dear." At the sudden appearance of her mate, Dafina jumped lightly. Her ears flicking back as a sheepish grin came to her lips. She turned her head slowly, peering up at Ramus. "Oh, honey. When did you get here?" A nervous laugh rang out from the mare as she gave a side glance to her daughter. Ignoring his questions for the time being. "When did you get back?"

" EEEEEEEK DAD DONT SCARE ME!!" Dafius heart raced a mile a minute for a few moments and stuck her touge at her dad. "you really shouldn't do that and if you contune to, i'll get a together to but a coller and those bell things on you." smirking, she did exsactly as her mothher did and ignored her father proding questions.
" what the heck you guys trying to hide something from me?" nipping at his mate, he had caught her nervious laugh adn both had ignored is question. "i got back just a few moments ago adn i noticed you two talking so i came on over." he laughted at his daughter. " oh come on that would be torture,though you two avoiding my question makes me wonder what you two are hiding."

"Hide something?" A quizzical look came over her features as she looked at Dafius. "We're not trying to hide something. As you can see plainly for yourself everything is out in the open." Dafina shot her daughter a quick wink. Well, she was telling the truth. If he couldn't see Dafius' round belly then he was seriously blind.

Dafius had a huge grin on her face and started to snicker. " mom is right you know dad." winking back at her mother, she wondered if her father would be quick enough to figure out what Dafina ment.
" oh really now............" Ramus eyed his daughter a moment and thought over the bit of conversation he had heard. wrinkling his nose, he then went wide eyed as he finaly thought he figured it out. " Dafius you seriously can't already be making me and your mother grandparents!!!?" groaning, he hoped he was wrong since well he was damn too young in his mind to be a grandfather already.

Dafina shook her head with a small sigh at her mate's groan. Sure, they might of been a bit young to be grandparents. But things happen and he really shouldn't blow it out of proportion.
The mare nipped at his knee, which was what she could reach at the moment. "Now Ramus. No groaning now. Dafius needs us right now so you have to be supportive. You should always be supportive of what the children do." She shot him a serious look. As if she meant business.

" hey hey my knee!!" Ramus preacticly danced away when his knee was nipped. " i know . but i can't help being shocked you know." sticking his tounge out at his mate who gave him one of those "im serious and not joking" looks. looking over at his daughter, he eyed her seriously. " you should know that i'll help you out as im sure your dear lovely mother has alreay offered to help out as well when you need it."
Dafius snirked at her father but after he got serious finaly after his little dance, she gave a nod. " i know and i hope you two don't mind me sticking around for a while. i just want to be with family at the moment since i thhink it makes me feel calmer about this all." giving a weak grin, she realy was scared about all the things to come but she had her parents to help guild her.

She chuckled lightly at Ramus' little dance before her gaze turned back to Dafius. Her serious look melting into a warm smile as she nodded her head. "Of course we wouldn't mind, Dafius. We'd never turn you out for any reason." Leaning over, she gave her daughter another nuzzle. Licking at the back of her ears as was a habit she did with all her children quite often. "And we'd especially not turn you out while you were with foals."

Ramus gave a nod in agreement. " your mother is right and you can stay as long as you like." chuckling a bit as he watched his mate and daughter, he didnt know if he was ready to be a gradnfather but he would try his best. "and how knows it might be a bit fun having grandkids running about to mess with." smirking, he might enjoy being a grandfather more than he would admit.
Dafius giggled a little as her mother licked behind her ear. "good cause your gonna be stuck with me for a while." grinning then nuzzling her mother back then sticking her tounge out at her father. " you better not cause trouble dad and i think a nice nap would do me some good." yawning all this had woarn her out.

Dafina rose to her feet, stretching out her legs a little bit and giving her dappled body a quick shake. And gently she lowered her head, nudging at Dafius' neck gently. "If you think you can make it there, there's a small grotto not too far away from here that you can rest in. Its nice and shady so it'll keep you cool as well." She turned an eye to her mate, raising an eyebrow before smiling. Well, it would certainly be interesting being a grandparent. Now Dafina would know how her mother felt.

" sure i beleive i can make it there mom." slowly geting to her feet, she needed to stretch a little before making the trip to the small grotto. and oh was she going to definalty know what her parents went through when they raised her and her siblings. " lead on!"
shaking his head, Ramus was amazed Dafius still to go one so carefree even though she had a huge responsablity to come. oh well she would learn soon enough he was sure but he doubt she would loss her stubbern carefree attitude. tossing his mane as he went over to his mate, he definatly planned to keep close watch over Dafius for now. " lounging about in the grotto sounds good."

Nodding her head, she gave Dafius a little nudge to get her going. "Its not far. You'll be able to relax there with no worries." Casting a small glance at her mate, Dafina flicked her tail lightly before she began a small trot towards the grotto. Keeping a close eye behind her on her pregnant daughter.
Yes, Dafius would soon learn just how much responsibility raising foals would be. Though perhaps it was a little sooner than the mare would have liked. She had no control over how her children lived their lives.

"alright." Dafius decided not to worry for now and just get moving so she could relax at the grotto for the time being. she was going to have more than enough things to worry about once the foals where born and would have to take care in raising them. eyeing both her parents as she kept behind for the time being as she wanted to think as they walked.
glancing back at Dafius, he then chuckled a bit as his mate had done the same thing. " your just as worried as i am not doubt?" he spoke barely above a whisper so that Dafius who seem to be deep in thought would not notice.

"Of course. Every parent worries about their child no matter what the circumstances are. If we didn't worry about our children they'd probably be getting into a lot of trouble without our little nudges here and there to keep them on the right path." Dafina sighed lightly, glancing back at Dafius once again for a split second. "I was hoping we might of had a bit more time before we became grandparents. But like doesn't always go the way you want it to neh?" Leaning over, she nipped at her mate lightly on the cheek.
