Kimbi shook his head. "Nope. I can eat if I want to but that's more....when I'm bored or something." He shrugged his shoulders like it was nothing. "Besides, I'm not with my Mother anymore. My family is all on their own already..."
His golden eyes stared at the girl for a moment before he stretched out his wings. "Well, maybe? I have wings and all, so I don't see why other things can't be true." She seemed a little absent minded as she was remembering things, so Kimbi just sat patiently as he waited for another bombardment of questions. It seemed like she was full of them.

"Huh...." She thought about that for a bit. "I think i'll stick with eating. It like it, tasty." And it gave her energy to run around and explore and practice hunting and now to pounce on gods.
"You're already on your own? Is that just cause you dont have to have your mama to feed you?" She could imagine every really leaving her family. They were all too close. It would just be weird without her parents and her brothers and Chang around. "I like being with my family. They all love me and it feel safe ..... what's your name?" she tilted her head to the side just now realizing that she hadn't asked that yet

Tasty? The idea of that made him snigger a bit, though he did his best to hide it by rustling his wings in front of his face. He had never really imagined eating like that, but if it was to her, then it must be to others as well.
"Well....sorta but not. Mom kinda just kicked us out since she was leaving home. We're okay since we're gods, but it gets kinda lonely..." He rubbed his forepaws together shyly again.
"My name's Kimbi," he chirped. "What's yours?"

"Ariza." She smiled brightly. "If you're lonely you could stay with my family? My mama loves having others around ... like my big brother Chang." He tail ticked happily behind her as she talked. "He's not -really- my big brother, mama just found him all alone, so now she takes care of him and he lives with us. You wouldn't be lonely anymore."
The thought didn't cross her mind that he might like being alone a bit or that he might be uncomfortable around a bunch of others that he didn't know.

"Ummmm," he hummed, thinking about it. He felt weird, jumping from group to group to stay with, but hopefully everything would be okay.
"Maybe...just for a little bit. B-but only if your Mom is okay with it..." He really didn't want to get in trouble, espeically with an adult. They seemed really mean when they were mad. At least the little bit that he had gotten with other parents and adults. His mother was always nice, somehow, even with the whole family surely driving her nuts at times.
"I don't wanna get....you in trouble or anything.."

"You wont get me in trouble. Mama is friendly." She smiled as she hopped to her feet. "I told you she likes company. "She was only ever mean once but that was cause Kivuli got in trouble and she had to go save him .. but she was okay after that." She nodded.
"I think she'd be mama to anyone who asked her." Chang was as big as papa and he still liked being babied by mama.

S-save? Sounded like this family got into a lot of trouble when it wanted to. He simply nodded at that, though, since he wasn't quite sure what to say about that. He did know that they should probably be good and make sure about that....
"Maybe we can go find her and check?" Kimbi was a god, and he knew that there were some out there that just....didn't like gods at all. He wanted to double make sure that she was okay, in cub terms. "Then maybe we can go...play or something!"

"She's back this way." She motioned with her head and hopped off a few steps in that direction. "I know she'll say yes so you dont have to worry."
Her papa might grumble about it but he always grumbled so that was okay. She could sweet talk him into it. At least he wouldn't have to take care of him. Since Kimbi was a god and all.

Gingerly tapping at the ground, he resettled him mind into thinking the grass was a normal thing to run into and followed her. He kept his head parallel to the ground, his eyes sneaking around to peek around through the grass. Everything seemed fine so far, but Kimbi was always nervous when he had to meet strangers (especially adults!) for the first time.
His ears swiveled forward to he could listen to Ariza. "Okay. I mean, you'd know her best..." He just had to put his faith into it.

She bounced along happily back toward where she'd left her family. She knew mama would be there since she'd hunted yesterday and they still have some left over. Papa was the one teaching Chang things mostly now so she wouldn't be doing that.
"Mama!" Once she got close enough to where they were she called out for her mother. "Mama! I made a friend, come see!"
She had been snoozing happily while the little ones did a bit of exploring. It was hot outside and since she had the peace she'd taken advantage of it.
Her ears perked when she heard her daughters voice. Getting up she yawned and laughed as she saw the little girl bound into view. "You don't have to yell so loud you know. What's this about a friend?"

Kimbi still followed after Ariza, not quite sure where they were going. The moment he had slowed down his pace, she had seemingly sped up! Figuring that they must be getting close or something, he trotted to keep up to where she was. How he had never seemed to be quick on his feet like his sibilings never made sense to him.
He popped his head around and noticed the adult female. Mildly intimidated, he slowly pulled himself out from his hiding spot, his wings plastered onto his back. "H-hello," he stumbled out of his mouth, shifting his paws around shyly and locking his eyes to the ground.

"Yup! This is Kimbi." She nodded as she plopped her butt in the shorter grass where they were calling home for the moment. "He said he was lonely so i said he could stay with us if he wanted."
She raised a brow at the winged lion that followed her daughter into the small clearing. She had never seen a god before, even if she believed in them, and it was slightly surprising.
"Hello Kimbi." She smiled softly as she leaned down so she'd be a bit more on his level. "Have you been wandering around out there all on your own?"

Kimbi let his eyes slowly peek between his head full of hair to look up at the adult. She seemed okay so far....he made himself relax with a couple of deep breaths. He had to answer her question, at least. It was similar to Ariza's, but at least it wasn't a million all at once like her.
"Yes'm, I am. I'm supposed to, anyway. That's what Mother always told me to get ready for, once I was old enough." He stumbled and rushed through his explination, hoping that it would satisfy Ariza's mother.

"Little ones your age need playmates, not to be growing up so fast. You should get to be a kid for a while longer" She smiled and laughed softly. "You're more than welcome to stay with us. I'm sure my little ones would enjoy having a new playmate."
And she wouldn't mind having someone else around, Tambaa might disagree but if she remembered her lore correctly they at least wouldn't have to feed the new comer.

His ear twitched at her words, though he didn't want to seem too excited so quickly. Mother always said that if you jumped right into things, it would be reckless and rude. He offered a quick bow of the head to her to show his thanks.
"It'll just be for a bit, I promise," he said quickly. "I just don't know where I'm going or what to do so I don't really do anything but wander, and it gets lonely sometimes." Certainly, since he had grown up with six other sibilings and a mother always surrounding him!
