Radi smiled and nodded getting to her paws a little and shifting towards the meat. She was ready to eat now. "Good, you're very welcome to stay with us for as long as you like. I'm sure you will have fun with the cubs."
Radi took a bite from the meaty carcass, her mind deep in thought, she wondered if she should tell azi that her cubs were from a leopard not a lion. No, she could keep that to herself for the moment, if the cubs were a different colour to her new friends crush, all would be well, it would only be a problem if they mimiced her crushes colouration. She didn't want to upset the girl after all she needed support and she was happy to give it.
settling in to the carcass radi ate her fill and lay down in the shade the sun dappling over her fur. She could let the worries leave her for the moment. It was a beautiful day and she had gained a wonderful new friend.

Azriell continued eating as Radi also joined her, the lionness shuffling around a little to give her new friend more room. After all, she'd been the one who'd actually caught this meal. The thought of meeting her son, and soon a litter of baby cubs, was a topic Azi wasn't too sure what she felt about. She'd never been all that good with those younger than her. She always felt awkward, and like she didn't know what to say. But hopefully, she'd get over that. Since she did really want to help Radi.
Radi finished her meal, and Azi took one more bite before laying herself in the sun, as opposed to Radi who chose the shade. The warm sun on her fur felt divine, and the lionness rolled over a few times to get comfy, before settling herself down. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad after all.
