The most up-to-date version of the E-11, used in the Legacy era by the Empire. It packs more of a punch against modern armor, and is essentially, the blaster of today. The only major diference is that instead of the side guard, there is a second handle under the barrell.

Identity: "The Crescent" Infiltrator craft built for Hae-Den Ferric
Capsule: The ship was built by Mandal Hypernautics in gratitude to Dark Jedi Knight Hae-Den Ferric for his organization's large manufacturing commission.

The 40.5 meter long (tall) ship consists of a large spherically shaped Living/piloting quarters and two vertical crest like wings. The smaller of the two rises from the top of the living quarters and the larger wing on the bottom. The ship is reminiscent of a crescent moon when in flight mode.

The bottom wing retracts and rotates backwards to a horizontal position when the ship is landing. when retracted it reveals two landing gear under the spherical living quarters and one from the wing itself.

The living quarters contains two floors; a cargo hold and on the floor above a ready room containing a small meditation chamber and light equipment storage space. The pilot's cockpit is an intermediary floor between the two.

The craft boasts a small Hibridium cloaking device in the bottom wing. it has a relatively low power and jams the ship's own sensor systems. It lasts only about 60 minutes before the ships systems shuts it down to avoid draining all of its power.

The bottom wing is outfitted with a large Ion cannon and an auto-blaster.

Four low-profile laser canons are hidden along the sides of the living quarters hull.

The ship is powered by a single Ion repulsor engine, and a class 1.0 hyperdrive system.

Identity: Force Sever
Capsule: A force power akin to Force choke or Force crush applied to a smaller more surgical precision. Basically the Force user telekinetically uses the force to sever a single critical internal organ.

One might use the force to sever the spinal chord, sever an artery or erupt a critical organ, even lobotomize a victims.

This power would be used fairly efficiently as an assassination tool, or as an interesting means to end an annoying conversation, Quick and Clean.

A user of this power would undoubtedly be Dark Side, would require a precise knowledge of anatomy and also a user would need to be incredibly focused.

Identity: Force Wave
Capsule: One of the most powerful forms of Force Push. It was essentially a wave of pure Force-energy that pulsed out from the Force user that utilized it, which knocked back anything within the power's blast radius.

Mace Windu using Force Wave during the battle of Dantooine. The strength of Force Wave was extremely potent and was once described as a telekinetic explosion. It was more widespread, like a wave, hence the name, and could push multiple opponents at once. It was very useful in tight, cramped quarters when the Force user needed room to move, since Force users could damage their opponents by pushing them into the walls. It could also be used as "crowd control," when overwhelming numbers of enemies immediately swarm towards the user. Using Force Wave gives the Force user time to rethink their strategy and cast more Force powers, or they could also attack fallen opponents as they are stunned. Mace Windu and Yoda used this power against Super Battle Droids during the Battle of Coruscant. Mace also used this power when he lost his lightsaber on Dantooine in Clone Wars. This power was also used by Darth Bane against his former master on the Unknown World, Lehon, in order to bring part of the Temple of the Ancients down on top of him, to kill him. It was similar in function to Force Repulse though it is unknown which was the stronger of the two.

Identity: Force Repulse
Capsule: An extremely powerful telekinetic Force power, similar in function to Force Push, and perhaps even more Force Blow, but on a far larger scale, akin to that of Force Wave. The user created sharp, visible kinetic ripples in space, which expanded outward rapidly, flinging nearby objects away at high velocity. The power only affected objects a certain distance away from the user, and therefore anyone could avoid its effects by moving closer to the user.

Subject: Nebula-class Star Destroyer
Type: Canon
Capsule: User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

The Nebula-class Star Destroyer, more commonly known as the Defender-class Star Destroyer due to its role as destroyer in the New Class Defender program, is the New Republic/Galactic Alliance's pride and joy. Based off of the success of the Victory-class Star Destroyer and it's successors, The Republic Engineering Corporation built a capable destroyer. With it's relatively small build of only 1,040 meters long (less than 66% of an Imperator-class), the Nebula can take on an Imperator-II, two heavy cruisers, and an entire fleet of support ships on with ease and precision with the aid of 40 turbolaser batteries, 20 ion cannons, 8 tractor beams, and 8 concussion missle tubes, each able to hold a payload of 30 missiles at one time. In addition, the Nebula was entirely capable of defending itself. Structurally, it was well made, featuring a sleek design.

Luckily, that design was scrapped early in the Nebula's design, and the bridge tower was lost entirely. This allowed the Nebula to avoid a tactic that the Republic often used against the Empire, assault at the elevated bridge itself. Instead, the bridge is built into the front of the ship itself, allowing a wide range of the battlefield. In addition, the Nebula can counter starfighters with its own squadrons, usually K-Wings, A-Wings, E-Wings, X-Wings, Defender-fighters, shuttles, and various gunboats and support craft. Last but not least, the destroyer also featured a Class 1 hyperdrive, allowing it to get out of any mess it couldn't handle (there were'nt many). The first Nebula-class was comissioned the Obi-Wan and saw action during the Black Fleet Crisis.

One interesting bit of information to note is that the New Republic tried to repeat the same success that the Galactic Republic had during the Clone Wars with the Venator and Victory-class Star Destroyers, one of which was a dedicated battleship, while the other was a carrier but capable of combat.

The Nebula served as the dedicated battleship while a larger version with less armory called the Endurance-class Assault Carrier played the role of the Venator-class.

Identity: Force Training toys
Capsule:
Force Training Toys are used to teach the basics of force use. There are three kinds of toys that have some general basics in common.

Alter toys- Alter Toys teach the basics of force powers that manipulate the outside world with the force. Telekinesis Toys are common, being made of clear plastic with switches viewable within the toy itself. Each switch activates a different function of the toy, the basic example would be a toy that lights up with patterns when the switch inside is flicked using the force. This kind of toy is how most younglings are taught how to use telekinesis. More complex versions of the same kind of toy would make sense. Such as one that isn't clear, requiring the user to sense where the switches are hidden inside the toy, then activate them without seeing them (which would be something an older youngling or padawan would use to train two aspects of force use at the same time, sensing things and altering the world around them).

Sense Toys- Not really anything more than a viewer screen with a database and a randomizer. Sense toys are an activity that two people participate in. An example of a sense toy was in episode one when the council was testing Anakin for force abilities.

Control toys- Control toys teach the user how to manipulate the force within their own bodies. They are generally nothing more than medical detectors that are available for civilian purchase. Heart beat monitors, thermometers, that kind of thing. The point of the game is to teach the person how to control their own bodily functions with the force.

Identity: Flechette pistol Attachment to all E-11 blaster rifles and derivatives.
Capsule:

User Imagecourtesy of Wikipedia E-11 and FWG-5 articles.

A foreword flechette pistol attachment for all E-11 Blaster rifles, Carbines, and other derivatives.

The Pistol attachment is a modified and simplification of the FWG-5 Flechette Pistol design. The pistol is redesigned with a male latching component instead of the laser tracker system, the component attaches to the female counter-part latch placed on the E-11 barrel grip.

The attachment allows a soldier quick access between returning distance fire and close quarters fire without switching between the two different weapons independently.

It is a favorite among imperial Marines on the Carbine E-11 when concerning missions involving the close quarters combat of ship to ship boarding and other similar combat missions.

This attachment is also available for other more modern designs such as the ARC-9965, and some other modified blaster rifles and carbines that are not E-11 derived.

Type:Fanon
Identity: Kana Dao saber technique.
Capsule:

A lightsaber combat form utilizing a quick system of precise strikes and parries to divert an opponent's defenses and attack with a single killing/disarming blow to the opened defenses. The technique is perhaps more of a purification of the offensive concepts of Form V than it is a full form. However it is still more than a single maneuver, it holds a philosophy all of it's own and reveals several options of different possible maneuvers within itself.

The technique is performed by defending one's self with minimal to no effort. Then, when ready, unleashing a quick fluid attack deflecting the opponent's defenses and striking a single finishing blow in the matter of a split second. Rather than waiting for an opponent to open his/her defenses, the Kana Dao practitioner forces the opponent to open his/her defenses with either shear strength, leverage or distraction.

The defensive posture of this technique avoids any contact with the enemy's attacks not by parries and acrobatic dodges but instead by using space to hold the opponent back from the practitioner until he/she has gained enough knowledge of the opponent's own technique and style.

Offensive postures of this technique requires great strength, leverage, and speed. The practitioner may wield the blade with two hands using the opponents own weight, and momentum to control the opponent's blade, forcing the defenses open for a single finishing attack. The technique of the offensive maneuver often requires fluid, agile, and precise movements of the entire body shifting and levering around the opponent's own body. (similar to Ninjitsu swordsmanship)

Offensive postures might also simply use powerful strategic parries to bash the opponent's own saber blade out of the way of precise vital locations on the body.

Offensive postures might also use false attacks to bring the opponent to parry at a strategic location then fluidly moving the attacking blade to another location forcing a mistake in the opponent's defense capable of delivering a single finishing blow before the opponent can return his/her saber to a viable defensive location. One might also use the force to aid in this kind of a distraction technique.

Entry: 024
Subject: Imperator Series of Star Destroyers
Status: Canon
Capsule:

User Image
They have been the symbols of Imperial might and authority for over fifty years, and have fought in three galaxy wide conflicts. These vessels are the heart and soul of the Imperial Navy dating from the Clone Wars to the Vong Invasion and beyond. Called a number of different names, the Imperator Series, the Imperial Line, or the Tector Line these vessels form the backbone of the Imperial Fleet.

Know them, love them, or hate them. Just be sure you’ll have to face them at some point.

User Image

The venerable line of the Imperial/Imperator series doesn’t begin with the Imperator-class, but a lesser known warship that fought alongside the Acclamators and Venators of the Clone Wars, the Tector-class. The ship would see service until at least the Battle of Endor where several of these vessels assisted in the engagement.

The Tector-class is the only member of the Imperator Line to lack a hanger or reactor bulb, this reflects its design and the doctrine of the Republic navy at the time. The Tector was meant as a direct combat starship that would be supported in combat by starfighters from other ships such as the Venator. Few of the ships saw active service due to a number of limitations including slow speed, support requirements, and crew requirements. Its armament is roughly about equal to the armament later given to the Imperial I.

User Image

Launched just after the end of the clone wars the Star Destroyer Imperator was meant as the launching point of a new class of combat ships, the Imperator-class. Soon after its launch the ship and its class were renamed Imperial-class starships by the personal decree of the Emperor. This ship is not one you want to face… period. She’s fast for a Star Destroyer and is capable of running down a CR90 Corvette with a gravitational assist. Not only that, she’s armed to the teeth.

Most people only read the official public statistics for this vessel provided by the Imperial navy, and immediately are given the wrong impression of just how well armed she is. The often vastly underestimate the assembled firepower of the ship because of the use of the Imperial misnomer of Turbolaser Batteries. This can be quite a poor way to categorize the ship’s weapons array, after all a battery can mean between one to eight guns. A much more accurate way to tell the ships firepower is to list it by individual guns.

The Imperial I carries a grand total of: 12 class-10 Turbolasers, 4 Class-5 Ion Cannons, 240 Class-5 Turbolasers, 120 Class-3 Ion Cannons, 8 Class-2 Laser Cannons, 2 Minelayers, and 6 Class-6 Heavy Torpedo Tubes. Additionally the ship houses a total of 72 Tie Starfighters and a plethora of supporting craft in its cavernous hanger bay. Her Hyperdrive is a Class-2 making it adequate for rapid response to incidents within her patrol area.

You don’t want to find yourself facing down all those turbolasers, and if that armament was scary just hold on for the next class.

User Image

Apparently in development before Yavin, the Imperial II would become the cornerstone of the Imperial Starfleet for the next thirty years even seeing service in the Vong Invasion. She’s got all the basic abilities as her older cousin but a heavier hull and much heavier armament.

The ship has a dramatic increase in offensive turbolaser armament, now she’s equipped with: 64 Class-10 Turbolasers, 200 Class-7 Turbolasers, 100 Class-4 Ion Cannons, and 8 Class-2 Laser Cannons.

User Image

After Endor and after loosing a number of the venerable Im-418 Interdictor Cruisers in combat the Empire began commissioning a new type of Interdictor ship based of the Imperial-II Star Destroyer’s hull. The ship sacrificed offensive firepower by doing away with the Class-10 Turbolaser batteries to make room for four Gravity Well Projectors. This makes her a large and well protected Interdictor ship, in combat operations this ship is usually paired with another combat centered Star Destroyer like an Imperial II.

Also called the Interdictor Star Destroyer.

User Image

Shortly before the Imperial Remnant’s surrender and peace treaty with the New Republic the Empire commissioned its latest incarnation of the Imperator Series, the Imperial-III. Additionally a number of Imperial-IIs were upgraded to Imperial-IIIs among them was the Chimaera.

The upgrades that came along with the Imperial-IIIs didn’t affect offensive firepower as much as it did survivability. The armor plate was given appliqué armor as well as the addition of a cloaking device standard. The ship was still quite well armed with: 64 Class-10 Turbolasers, 200 Class-7 Turbolasers, 80 Class-5 Ion Cannons, 6 Class-6 Heavy Torpedo Tubes, and 10 Class-2 Laser Cannons.

This class was never put in full scale production due to the expense of installing a Cloaking Device and would serve primarily as an adjunct to the older and venerable Imperial-II. Note- The Imp-III is fanon

The T-97 isn't a fighter, it fullfills the same combat role as the old ARC-170 and is meant as an assault bomber in addition to reconisance and close support roles that were carried out by the ARC.

It's something of a role reversal in that way, the Incom starfighter we've seen in Legacy is a flimsy and clumsy ship that is cheap, the Predator is easily superior. The same can not be said for Bombers where the T-97 is the superior beast.

It's like a K-wing made out with an X-wing and this thing popped out. It's as fast as an X-wing of the era, fairly well shielded and has three directly mounted weapons, a pair of laser cannons and a nose mounted autoblaster that is only barely visible. It isn't meant to engage in dogfights but can fly through a furball and survive, something K-wings seemed to have trouble doing.

It has fourteen hardpoints on the underside of its wing that can be equipped with a variety of different weapons systems, from Heavy Rockets and Plasma Bombs (K-wings carried these) to Cluster Missile dispensers.

So the Empire has got the best dogfighter and the best strike bomber known in the Galaxy. Are we surprised?

The bane of smugglers and pirates in the core worlds, the Gladius-class Star Frigate is a nasty piece of equipment utilized by the Imperial Fleet. Many a smuggler has a tale of being nabbed by one of these in the dense space lanes over Bestine, Yaga Minor, and Coruscant. If one of these lights up its gravity wells on your ship… its almost certainly all over.

Armed with 10 class-7 Heavy Turbolasers, 20 class-5 Turbolasers, 10 class-5 Ion Cannons, and 8 class-7 Laser Cannons the Gladius is capable of fending off attacks by light star frigates and corvettes with ease. At 600 meters from bow to stern the vessel is classified as a heavy Star Frigate, but her armament is not sufficient to hold off other vessels of her class. Her primary role is customs, hyperspace patrol, and combat interdiction.

Equipped with three Gravity-well projectors the ship utilizes the most advanced gravitational projectors in the galaxy. Their design is so slick in that it can literally hold and track individual light freighters and heavy starfighters in its beam thus enabling it to capture a smuggler’s ship without interfering with other ship traffic. In its interdiction and patrol role the vessel is often paired with a Wombat II-class Star Frigate or other true combat vessel.

In addition the Gladius-class has enough room in its hanger bay to store up to a full squadron of Predator fighters. Though this is often not the case in patrol operations where space normally allotted to fighters is given to assault shuttles and ion equipped craft.

What a funny name for a ship… the Wombat. Still, the vessel packs a wallop in its 400 meter long space frame. The ship, while technically light frigate has enough firepower to intimidate most, heavier vessels. Equipped with four quad class-12 heavy turbolasers, six class-9 heavy concussion missile tubes, and eight class-4 point defense laser cannons this ship can deliver a beating to almost any ship it runs across.

Like most units assigned to the Rapid Response Task Forces the Wombat II has a class 0.5 Hyperdrive. Equipped with an enormous power plant the ship’s capable of being propelled up to 60 MGLTs. Still her hull is weak and powerplant unstable making her vulnerable to overloading and containment failure, if hit hard enough the powerplant was certain to cause the destruction of the vessel. Also the ship is equipped with both primary and secondary shielding giving it a double layer of protection.

The ship’s hanger can only accommodate a single shuttlecraft for transferring officers to meetings on command vessels and vice versa.

Subject: Stalwarth-class Star Destroyer

When Grand Admiral Thrawn chose his first command as admiral during the galactic civil war, he chose the Victory I-class Star Destroyer Stalwarth as his command. The Victory-Is were a constant weapon under Thrawn’s watch, representing the only dedicated missile destroyer in the Imperial Fleet. When the designers at Rendili Stardrive began work on the replacement of the aging Harrow II-class Star Destroyer they went back to the lessons which Thrawn had dealt in galactic civil war.

The resulting craft was the Stalwarth-class, named both as a celebration of the Victory line as of Thrawn’s influence and promotion of the Victory classes.

The Stalwarth is a marvel of modern imperial engineering, equipped with eighty class-12 proton torpedo tubes, sixteen class-9 laser cannons, and one-hundred-twenty dual phase class-7 turbolasers. The dual phase turbolaser enables the weapon mounts to switch from normal fire mode to ion pulse mode, removing the need for dedicated ion weaponry. Additionally the modular design of the torpedo tubes enables them to be loaded with variable warheads including ion-pulse and mag-pulse. Often times captains would use a mixed load of missiles to give the greatest possible damage to the target.

Finally the torpedo tubes themselves are the next generation of Imperial Torpedo technology, unlike most torpedoe tubes of earlier eras these weapons can be loaded with multiple warheads to fire a salvo of missiles from a single tube... Standard procedure is to utilize a stack of three warheads per tube for maximum effect, though it does delay the reload time between missile launches.

The ship also is equipped with a class 0.5 hyperdrive and an advanced engine system enabling it to reach a top speed of just over 40 MGLTs. Additionally the spacious hanger bay can accommodate as many as six squadrons of predator fighters in addition to shuttles and support craft making it capable of carrying a complete imperial fighter wing. Like all dedicated combat ships of the Legacy era Empire the vessel is equipped with both primary and secondary shielding.

One shouldn’t mess with this class of vessel unless they have a really good point defense system.
