I would have to say Greensleves for a christmas piece. Other wise it would be Sadow Rituals by Michael Markowski.
Also A Christmas Festive is wrote by Leroy Anderson. I get to play it for a concert. Yeah!!!!

Connexus (meaning a place to connect) Our band is on YouTube. Search Bryant High School band and look for where it says Connexus or something like that. ^_^

Azaurmyth A Christmas Festival, I don't remember who wrote it redface haven't seen it in a while. But that was my favorite christmas orchestra song. Edit: I lied, but that one is my favvey christmas song that I've played. The favorite song I've played was Golden Sierra, then Yosemite Fall by Gary Gilroy. I got solos in both and the songs were just plain awesome. We played "A Christmas Festival" for our last christmas concert; it's by Leroy Anderson-- that's definitly one of my favorite Christmas pieces The TEmpest is actually my favorite piec I've ever played though; I learned it in seventh grade and i've had it memorized since then....

A favorite...If it's any piece I've ever read, then Concord by Grundman and the Walking Frog by K.L King/arr. by Robert E. Foster (I somehow actually memorized it after our band read it for an hour. We haven't even looked at it since.) If it's a piece I actually played for a concert, then Sun Dance by Ticheli and American Heroes March by Williams.
Edit: Add "Highlights from Wicked" by Schwartz/Arr. by Brown. We just played it for our concert about 2 and a half hours ago. Dang audience applauded before we were through (we had just finished No Good Deed when they started), which was both interesting and insulting at the same time. We finished the piece, but I'll never forget that that happened.

Hmm... I've got several.
- Night Soliloquy by Kent Kennan (flute solo) - The Rite of Spring by Igor Stravinsky - Children's March by Percy Aldridge Grainger - Blue Shades by Frank Ticheli - Holst Suite in E Flat by Gustav Holst (ESPECIALLY the second movement!)
And one I haven't played yet...
-Redline Tango by John Mackey.
