Bourne is able to wiggle free. He quickly jumps up to his feet and attempts a low level dropkick to Punk.

.X.X. Punk was caught by the dropkick and rolled to the side. He braced himself
with the ropes and got to a knee, trying to shake away the pain from the kick .X.X.

Bourne was well aware of the type of competitor Punk was and knew he couldn't slow his pace for a second. He kicked up to his feet and quickly attempted a running Shinning Wizard to Punk as he was on one knee.

.X.X. Punk saw Bourne charging and used the ropes to propel himself up to attempt a clothesline .X.X.

Bourne gets clothslined, he corkscrewed in the air since he was clothslined at an awkward angle while in mid attack. He hits the mat oddly and lands on his neck. Bourne clutches the back of his neck as he rolls around on the mat.

.X.X. Punk tried to capitalize on the injury he saw Bourne nursing and came
off of the mat, attempting to land a knee drop onto the back of his neck .X.X.

Bourne is kneed in the back of the neck. He wiggles in pain while clutching his neck. Bourne rolls under the ring to the outside and paces around while the ref starts his count.

Bourne is still clutching his neck as he stops pacing to catch his breath.

.X.X. Punk does a baseball slide to the outside, restarting the ref's count. He
grabs onto Bourne's shoulder and attempts to spin him around in order to try
and irish whip him, shoulder first, into the nearby steel ring steps .X.X.

Bourne gets Irished Whipped towards the steps, instead of smashing into the steps he leaps into the air and lands firmly with both feet on the top step. Without missing a beat he attempts a quick Moonsault off the top step onto CM Punk.

[[ Sorry man, I went to L.A. for the Dragon Gate show, forgot to announce my absence ]]
.X.X. Punk was completely awed at Bourne's quickness and agility, he was
hit by the moonsault and landed hard on the pads surrounding the ring.X.X.

(It is ight, you are a really good RPer so I don't mind waiting)
Bourne hit Punk and rolled off of him after they hit the floor. Bourne used the announcer's table to get back up to his feet. He threw up one arm in the air waving around a peace sign taunting the crowd. As the crowd chanted "Bourne, Bourne, Bourne" he rolled under the bottom rope back into the ring. He rose to his feet and patiently waited for his opponent.

.X.X. Punk got to his feet, gingerly rubbing the back of his head that had
smacked hard against the floor. He shook off the haziness from Bourne's
moonsault and slid in the ring under the bottom rope. Getting back to his
feet once more, Punk tried to hit Bourne with a kick aimed at his gut .X.X.

Luckily since Bourne wasn't as hazed as Punk he was able to diligently hop over the kick, in mid air he attempts a side kick of his own aimed at the side of Punk's head.

.X.X. Punk had adapted to Bourne's fast-paced style and expected a counter
attempt from his opponent, so as Bourne's left his feet, Punk caught his foot
and attempted to counter the jumping side kick with a dragon screw .X.X.

Evan Bourne gets Dragon Screwed, but Punk must have misjudged the distance because he ended up flinging Bourne right into the corner. Bourne's head smashed against the second turnbuckle. He went limp and collapsed to the mat breathing slowly.
