He winced at her laugh. It was the cruelest thing he thought he'd ever heard. He breathed her in. "No...you could not understand what I mean. All I'm saying is that you need to--." He broke off and brought his head up. He looked at her urgently. "I have to go. Teacher's meeting and I completely forgot," he said, his eyes wide, glistening. "Will you talk with me later?" he said, a need in his voice.

"Yeah. Send me a letter or something telling me when and where," she walked over to an owl, and looked over her shoulder. "Don't worry Dameon," she giggled, "I won't tell anyone." Her face went straight and she looked back at the bird.
(I know, right? XD. I suppose we shall continue on Sunday. I might be on a little tomorrow, but I doubt you will be. XD)

As she left him standing in the middle of the damp room, he felt a slight pressure on his shoulder and turned his head just in time to see the last of the white bird dung land evenly, sealing the deal.

Lina walked up the stairs to the owlery, she had hoped with all her heart that he father would allow the house elves to send her the brooms she had so carefully toiled on during the summer break. She had cursed silently when she realized she had forgotten them at her home. She pulled out a sheet of parchment and wrote:Lina Dear Milly and Tilly,
I'm most certain that Father would allow you to send me the broom sticks I crafted during the summer. They can be found in the guest room downstairs. I'm also enclosing my earnings for the small time i've been here so far. My broomsticks are selling well and Olivander has taken me as an apprentice for wand making just as father instructed. Assure him that my real place is crafting broomsticks, I know how he disapproves, but perhaps some careful prodding and these earnings might make him realize other wise.

Lina smiled, "Just sending a letter out to the house elves," she watched as her owl became smaller and smaller into the distance. "Hoping to get a few belongings from home hopefully." she squinted at her, "Hana...right? What are you doing up here? Sending a letter home too?"

Lina smiled, "Well golly that's swell." she stood up and walked toward the stairs, "You know I thought I saw a professor on my way up.." she rubbed her head, "I'm sure it'll come to me. I always thought they had a private staff place to mail their stuff." she shrugged.
