My bands is skipping it this year to go to NJ state finals! Woo Giant Stadium! This is my greatest rookie year ever, since it's my first.

My highschool was going ( Fort Walton Beach ), but it was cancelled due to homecoming dates being moved.

We went to BOA at Towson yesterday, it was awesome. Last night was the first time our band has ever made BOA finals. We performed so well at finals that almost everyone on our band's staff cried, and most of the band did, too. It was great. I liked talking to the other bands, too. =D We got 8th...I think we were the smallest band at finals. xd (Our colorguard stood out, though- their uniforms lit up the stadium. xd )
It was great, though. Best night of my life, no matter how exhausted I was.

Wow, I can;'t believe I didn't reply to this thread again, yet. ><
My band went to the BOA in Syracuse. It was fun! We didn't win....but I think we were awesome, so it's okay. Congrats to West Geni for winning!

Is no one going to the one in Indy? My college, Western Carolina University, is going to exhibit and so is... I think it was... Riverside? In CA? Both of us are exhibiting. =D I've never been to BoA before, so it should be lots of fun!

We were going to go to a BOA regional, but it cost too much to travel...
We're a pretty poor program, so traveling from the Northwest to Southern California would be a financial burden for our members.
We've always wanted to get out of the Northwest and see how we stack up though, since we've been the NW champions for a few years. Though, that really doesn't mean anything anywhere else in the country.

This year my band went to BOA grand nationals in Indy
it was amazing being on the same field as all those other bands
u noe the legends like broken arrow avon
Ld bell
yea it was breathe taking
we made it to semi finals and got 19th out of 95
we did awesome it was our first time ever at a BOA grand national competiton

Ooh, did you get to stay long enough to see the Western Carolina University exhibition? I'm really wanting to know what the kids that saw us thought of the show. I had a couple come up to me and tell me it was great, but still....
I would like to know if there was anything not cool about the show. lol

there are different regonals and supraregonals, and grand nats...
some in different states&days&such...

I love BOA.
: D Especially Texas BOA.
So many amazinf bands. The San Antonio Super REgional is the best one I think. It's like the cream of the crop.
Our band was in it. But we didn't make finals. Boo. sad Maybe this year.
