Ezuzu smiled. "Well ain't you sweet." She stopped walking and looked at her paw. "Since you are so worried about me...how about we go back to your den and you can watch me for the night. You most likely wouldn't be able to live with yourself if my foot got infected." She could read him like a book if she wanted too, she just just too tired to keep talking to him and walking all the way toward the watering hole she stayed by.

Farai blinked at that, actually stopping for a second or two. "Uh," he said, rather unintelligently. "I uhm... don't live that close either really ... but... I know a place.."
So saying, he turned just a bit and headed deeper into the trees - soon coming to a huge tree that was dead, but hadn't fallen over for some reason. There was a space underneath it, not quite a real den but close enough, the roots and hollowed out trunk of the tree making a small cave in the middle of the jungle.
By the time they got there, he'd recovered his wits a little and motioned with a paw. "Will this do for the night, my lady?" he asked, gently teasing.

She held her chin up high then walked into the den, much like a spoiled princess would. "I guess it will have to go." She smiled then curled up on the ground. Her paw throbbed with aching pain...she hoped she would be able to sleep.

After a moment, Farai followed her inside and curled up next to the cheetah, craning his head around to look at that paw. It didn't look too bad, not like it was infected or anything, but he would stay with her tonight.
Then he could make sure she was ok... at least.
