We actually just had new carpet put in a few years ago, but the wood on our risers were stained with spit puddles when they pulled up the old carpet. Ewww.

My band room's carpet and band room in general are both over a century old. I'm not kidding. And I love it whee
I think the funniest moment was when someone had a cut on their foot and it got infected. We had jokes about the infection being from the first trumpet player in our school. It was hilarious XD

Well, we just got tile flooring, but before that it was all carpet. The school has been around since the 20s... I think. Possibly before that? I don't remember the history and whatnot. It was a drama room before that.... but I'm guessing at least 20 years of spit was on that carpet. And people were getting horribly sick from it. sweatdrop

We just got new carpets like2 years ago, but the carpet gets super cleaned every year, so It's not too bad...I hope xp

My band Room has probably 60 some years of Spit on the floor at least the Jr high does the High school's probably has about 5

We had tile on our floors in the old high school, like 40+ years. Then we got a new high school last year. Carpet. About a year of spit there.

Get used to the spit. Yes, it's disgusting, but we have no where else to put it. And we don't care where it falls. There's been times where my valve has accidentally leaked on my pants and I don't notice until like 15-20 minutes later.
Who the heck knows how much spit is on our band room floor? I think it gets cleaned every summer, but I'm not sure. If it stinks I'm probably used to the smell by now.
My school is over a hundred years old though. So it could be like 20 years or more of spit on the rug. I don't think that's the case cuz my BD's sorta likes things neat and cleaned.
