Delita moved away from the kiss gently and just looked at Vi, not saying a word, but for some reason, even though he felt that after the kiss he just did that things probably would've worked out between them, he couldn't shake the feeling that something about this wasn't right. When he noticed the tear, he slowly looked away and sighed softly. "Vi...I want you to answer this one question for me. If we start over again, do you think it will work out between us? If you want me here, I'll stay with you for as long as you'll have me, but...if you don't think we'll last, then I'll go away...I don't want to make life any harder than I've already made it." He said as he looked back to her and smiled. "But if it helps your decision, I'm liking the odds if you give me a second chance." He said with a slight chuckle, making a joke in order to lighten the mood a bit.

Vi let her gaze stray as Deilita spoke. As she listened, she furrowed her brow, trying to make a decision. "Deilita, I wish I could take you back- God I want you back, but-" She shook her head, trying to figure out what was so conflicting about all this. But when she looked up into his eyes, it seemed to go away for a moment. After a short pause, she reached out to touch his face. "...those eyes..." She said softly, smiling slightly as well. "I missed those eyes...they always seem to sparkle, as if they're trying to tell me it'll all be alright..." slowly her smile faded and gaze fell along with her touch. She had made her decision. "If we fix this...we're going to need to take it slow...so no one gets hurt again alright?" She asked, looking up at him in all seriousness. Or at least be more careful... She added to herself as she looked to him for a reply.

Deilita nodded and held her gently in his arms, his eyes filled with joy at this decision. "I understand Vi." It was all that he could manage to say. At first, he expected her to just say, "No, it's too risky." But this just dashed everything that he thought would happen. As he held her he sighed a bit, then let her go, looking at a book that had all the orders for room service. "Now after all this, I suddenly get hungry..." He laughed softly as he went to it and picked it up, looking through the book for something decent to eat.

Vi smiled and studied him as he got up to order something. She hoped she wasn't making a mistake, but just decided to wait and see how things went from here. "Be careful, I hear some of the meals are decent while the others are so bad, no amount of hard vodka could cover the taste..." She laughed, remembering trying one of the dishes for a complementary meal she had received.

Deilita laughed a bit as well, handing the book over to Vi carefully. "In that case, I think you better order. I don't want to end up killing the both of us by accident. Heheh." He was happy again, for a year he had been without Vi and he had been taking more and more dangerous jobs since he had no one to worry about him. Sure the money was really great and he made a lot of friends in dangerous places as well as enemies, but every job he did, he hoped that he wouldn't make it back for the same reason.

Lorelee had just finished cleaning a newly vacant room three doors down from where the others were staying when she heard a tremendous bang from what sounded to be the kitchens. Everything was so cramped in the hotel that one could drop a pin and have the floor hear it. Anxiously, she poked her head out of the doorway to look towards the south wing for the source of the noise. All she could make out was a vague yelling noise, at first male, but soon followed by a feminine voice, and both definitely coming from the kitchen. "Oh dear."
No sooner had Lorelee been able to identify the voices, an absolutely raging Berta Harris came storming out of the swinging doors. Berta was middle-aged, rather heavy woman with a temper as hot as the peppers she worked into her dishes. Though her disposition was usually very warm and loving to those she liked or didn't even know, her face then was glowing with an indignant anger. Lorelee had certainly never expected her to be spewing the words of the most seasoned space truckers so close to the guests.
Mr. Heany soon followed, though there was the odd addition of what seemed to be pancake batter to his angry features. Both continued their row right into the living area by the front desk, passing right by an astonished-looking Lorelee without a second glance. "And if you think for one moment I'm going to stay in this hovel to cook for the likes of you--" Berta yelled before being cut off. "Assuming I'd even keep trash who can't even bring together eggs and milk without creating the next poison!" For a moment, it seemed like he would be struck, but instead, Berta just stared daggers. "Then make the bloody poison yourself, Heany!" And with that, Berta slung her purse over her shoulder and trotted right out the door.
Lorelee was still standing in the doorway, watching Heany, who appeared to be riveted to the floor, pancake batter still dripping off his hair and onto the rug. To her dismay, he had left a trail right from his spot to the kitchen where there was no doubt an incredible mess, all waiting for her. A sigh from her was the only noise on the floor.

Vi nodded and smiled lightly as she took the menu and made a call down to room service. After a short conversation with the obviously confused man on the other end, she thanked him and hung up. "There seems to have been a disagreement in the kitchen so all orders are going to be delayed. But one of the concierges promised to send up the specials once it all got worked out..." She explained, looking back to Deilita. "Food can wait anyhow, I'm curious to how you've been doing this past while..." She said, cocking her head as she laid back against the head board.
Richard and Enty finally made their way to the Stargazer Hotel, expecting to find some 5star snobby hotel. What they found instead was a moderately snobby but overall, unimpressive building with a nicely dressed man covered in batter, standing in the lobby, looking furious. "Are you sure we've come to the right place Enty?" Richard asked quietly as Enty shrugged.

"BURNHEART!" Heany's voice rose to tremendous volume when crying out her name. Lorelee scittered out from her doorway, right to his side as two guests came in. "Yes, Mr.--" "Don't stand around acting stupid. Clean this up, all of it! The kitchen's a bloody mess, too." With a burning look as if the entire affair had been her fault, Heany stormed off to the men's room to clean himself.
Lorelee wasn't sure if she should walk out as well. The small cloth in her hand was held tightly like a child's teddy bear as her eyes followed the trail of batter down the hall. Some of it had even dripped onto her shoe as he had fumed in front of her.

Richard cocked his head as he looked the girl up and down. There was something about her... He pushed the thought from his mind. What infuriated him most right now, was how the man treated her. But he decided he would have to let that lie since they were here for Vi. "Excuse, Miss?" Richard called hesitantly. "I don't mean to distract you from your...duties...but I was hoping you could help us out..." Enty nodded, deciding to keep quiet since he would prefer not to be translated.

"Uh..." She really wasn't in guest relations, or any relations, really. Lorelee barely had any friends to her name. Talking to a complete stranger was almost nerve-wracking, and looking at the two strange people--perhaps person and one... thing-- made it no better. But, she put on her best, straight-backed professional stance. "Of course. What may I help you with?"
Lorelee gave a nervous look once more down the hall before resting her eyes on Richard once more.

"We're looking for a certain guest who we believe is staying here. And as it seems, there is no one at the concierge's desk to aid us with this dilemma...though I can understand why they'd be hiding..." He tried to joke, rubbing his neck awkwardly. He guessed the man covered in batter was in some sort of management or owner position since he acted as if he were in charge.

"I'm sorry, but unless you have some kind of authority, I can't simply hand out the names of those staying here, unless you're with their party." Suddenly Lorelee wasn't so trusting of these two oddities.

"Oh of course I understand..." He said with a slight bow. While he struggled to think of an answer, Enty spoke up. "Rowta do eesu!" He chirped with a hand gesture. Richard nodded and smiled. "Yes, she's my...sister, and I've been to every hotel in town trying to find her, so I'm hoping to find her here..." He hated lying, especially to a young lady as this one, but he felt it was necessary.

Lorelee cocked an eyebrow at him in an obvious, suspicious fashion. "Then perhaps you can tell me her name and I'll simply go and fetch her. I'm sure she'll have no trouble coming out here." She waited for his answer, anticipating the exposure of a terrible lie.

"Ah! of course, her name's Miss Vidori -" Richard paused for a moment, forgetting her last name. "Ru-nal-ian..." Enty coughed under his breath. "Yes, Runalian. Vidori Runalian..." He gave her his most sincere smile.
