Still around the corner there may wait,  Eledhwen, the enslaved bard. When he introduced himself as Zarud she smiled back and nodded. It looked like she had hit a sort of jackpot for slaves in the Underdark and his smile was real enough. Eledhwen decided she had little to fear at the moment, as long as she didn't push her luck. "I'd like some yes. But a glass of water would be enough to clench the thirst." she gently answered her master. Eledhwen usually drank water anyway.a new road or a secret gate.

Zarud called over the waitress and ordered her a glass of water, "You may be wondering why I'm not treating like a slave, the truth is I don't enjoy the slave trade so I would like to give you a job instead."

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen, the enslaved bard. Eledhwen smiled when she heard the explanation of Zarud. It was good to know that there were others down here that didn't agree with slave trade. "Thank you, that's very kind. But won't that give you problems with the others?" she wondered a bit worried. The woodelf had heard alot about the drow, but Zarud was the first that acted against what they learned on the surface. It was like a living image that one should always judge individually and not on race and such.a new road or a secret gate.

"You don't need to worry for my safety and to make sure no one thinks your a run away slave I'll give you my written concent," he put some money on the table "now we should go and get you some new clothes," he smiled to her once more, he enjoyed talking to her, he could see that she was kind hearted, so he just be himself.

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen Eledhwen drank her water as she listened to Zarud, she didn't want to hold him up just because she was drinking and she was thirsty anyway. When he ensured her she didn't need to worry for him she nodded gently as she placed the now empty glass on the table. "So if I understand correctly, you are going to allow me to walk freely trough the tunnels. While doing my job offcourse." she asked him just to be sure.
When he told her they needed to get her some new cloths, she blushed a bit. She had totally forgot that the slave master had taken all her stuff, including her flute. The woodelf smiled back to Zarud and got up when he was ready to go. Eledhwen was quite certain she would learn to enjoy her time here atleast a bit. Zarud was kind and gentle, she hadn't expected that from a drow. But that didn't mean the others would be aswell, she kept that well in mind as she knew it could be the difference for her between life and death.a new road or a secret gate.

As they enter a clothes shop Zarud looks at her "To answer your question earlier yes you can go where you please, now go pick out some clothes I won't hold you back," smile

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen Eledhwen looked around them as they entered that shop and smiled a bit. Though the clothings were all of a dark tint here to ensure the camouflage she knew she could find something here. Truth was that with the cloths she was wearing now she did quite stand out. The woodelf smiled thankfully to him then she looked around at the cloths. She didn't know what kind of job her master had in mind for her. But if it included bringing messages around and such, she would have to blend in.
With that in mind she looked around for a while. She considered to take cloths of a colour she liked but also that could camouflage her if needed. Eventually she settled with a dark green shirt with long sleeves and a dark green trousers with a black cloak. Certain she would have what she needed to do whatever job was thrown at her she walked back to Zarud. It wasn't much but it was all she needed.a new road or a secret gate.

Zarud happily payed for the clothes but as they were walking down the street Zarud stopped "Don't turn around, there are four thugs that have been following us since the café."

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen Eledhwen was glad with her new cloths, with these she could blend in a bit with the environment. She was carrying her own bag as she smiled when she walked next to Zarud. Though when he suddenly stopped and explained they were being followed, the smile made place for a worried expression. But she listened to his words and didn't turn around or even look around as she stood next to him. She only looked at her new master. "What do we do now?" she asked him softly.a new road or a secret gate.

He looked up the street "We'll go into that alley," he continue to walk as if nothing was wrong but he feared for Eledhwen's safety.

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen Eledhwen followed him into the alley playing along the 'nothing is wrong' condition. Though inside her heart was raging and she felt really scared. Though she didn't feel very at ease in the alley, she followed Zarud closely.a new road or a secret gate.

As predicted the group that were following them also entered the alley, Zarud stopped "Eledhwen please get down," he turned to face them "What do you want?" the thugs smiled and with out saying a word ran at Zarud. The first swung at him but Zarud grabbed his arm and broke it like a stick, the second tried to shoot him with a handheld crossbow but hit his friend instead, the third picked up a piece of wood and tried to hit Zarud only to hit air as Zarud punched him in the gut, the last two looked at him and drew their knifes. Zarud looked at them as they came at him the first knife missed by an inch, Zarud took the chance and kicked him in the jaw, the second knife went into Zaruds chest. He cough up blood as he broke the mans hand. They then fled leaving Zarud for dead.

Still around the corner there may wait, Eledhwen Eledhwen didn't ask questions she did immediately as she was asked by Zarud. She was useless for fighting anyway, she would only get in the way. The woodelf moved further to the back of the alley as the fight occurred before her. This showed of all that the stories had been true about the Underdark. Though she was also amazed by the talent that Zarud showed for fighting. When the thugs ran off, Eledhwen ran to Zarud and knelt next to him and helped him to face her. "Zarud, Zarud?" she called, to see if he would be answering her. The woodelf looked around aswell but she didn't know the way here, nor if they even had healers and that sorts, so she looked back at her master, hoping he would know what she could do to help.a new road or a secret gate.

Zarud openned his eyes "Yes,yes?" He smiled he then sat up and removed the blood coated knife from his chest "tsk, tsk those thugs ruined a perfectly good robe."
