Anna looked over at the male for a second as he seemed to side by her. She kept pace with the pack, her hair brushing and slightly bouncing as she moved. Giving a slight huff, she looked over at him. "I guess they're still deciding." At his question, she nodded. "My name is Anna. Some call me Ryuu, but it's your choice. This is my first time, yes. Usually Anastacia and I go in the day, but she wants me to get used to all the times possible.

"Anna that's a nice name," he smiled a little. "And Anastacia is right. If you want to survive you need to have skill hunting in the evening and night." He liked Anna, a bit shy but she seemed very kind hearted. She'd make a good friend he thought. "So do you have a favorite food? What do you do for amusement?Do you know the vampire raptor well?"

"Well..." Th female trailed off a little, not used to being questioned or talked to for that matter. "Food? Uhhh...I'd say anything that I can sink my teeth into, and that's not too horribly bad...." Her feathered hair brushed against her cheeks and neck. She shook her head a little before trying to answer the other questions. "I like swimming...kinda. And stargazing....running. Just simple things. The vampire raptor?" It took her a moment. "OH! Alucard! No, Anastacia and I just met him tonight...strange isn't he?"

"A little but then again I can't judge, some raptors think I'm a bit strange too." He nodded to Anastacia. "I think she's one of them," he chuckled. "If you don't like me asking questions I'll stop. I noticed you're a little uncomfortable with me asking them."

"Anastacia's not a vampire! She's just...a little cold." The female gave a slight squawk noise. At his comment, she blinked. "I don't mind questions. I actually like them...it's just that nobody ever really talks to me except for Anastacia and her pack...I don't have very many friends.." Anna snorted a little, tail flicking.

"You miss understood me Anna, I wasn't saying that Anastacia was a vampire, I just said that she probably thinks I'm a little odd." He chuckled a little, and wagged his tail. "I'm glad you don't mind the questions, I hope we can be good friends."

"Elk it is, then!" Alucard nodded. "It was inconsiderate of me to suggest grizzly. I have no intent to allow Anna- or any of you- to be harmed tonight." He began to wheel to the right, the general direction of the elk. He turned his head slightly back as he ran even with Anastacia, gazing at the black male and the littler female. "Ought to keep it quieter, you two. If they get spooked from the sounds of voices, we may be less successful than we'd hoped. Running feet are a common sound, common enough not to startle them until we're practically on top of them, but speech- they don't trust it." He spoke in sibilant whispers, like the hissing of a snake, but his words were not terribly harsh. Anna was a beginner, and the dark male- Alucard realized he didn't know his name- was of uncertain skill level, and trying to befriend her at the same time. There was nothing wrong with wanting a bit of company; after all, wasn't that the reason he was out there himself?

Anna was about to reply to Echo when Alucard spoke. She forgot to keep quiet in a hunt, and instantly felt guilty about her rookie mistake. With her mouth snapped shut, she followed the other two, head slightly down in shame. As they padded along, she couldn't help but wonder if they were to ever catch anything tonight. And hopefully it wouldn't be her fault.
Her dark eyes rolled back to see where the two raptors stood. They were following as close as ever. But their banter was slightly annoying. At Alucard's comment, she gave a gentle snort as if to agree with the male. Even if they weren't close to the food source, they could still spook worthy prey and it wouldn't be a successful hunt for any of them.

Echo became silent, not only had he stopped talking but his movements where also quite. The smell of the elk was growing stronger. Judging by smell one of the does was weak. Not diseased by something contagious though. This would make their hunting even easier. The three of them came up to the clearing and saw the two does and their calves grazing in the moon light. The clearing was in a horse shoe shape making it look like there was one rout for escape for their prey. In the shade of the trees Echo waited with his new found companions. Echo new the best way to catch the weaker elk would be by setting a trap for it. Cornering it between the trees and the exit. Two would start the ambush and two would come out from the trees and make the kill. Echo looked towards Alucard and nodded, waiting to see which position he'd take in the hunt.

Excellent. This prey was fantastic! This hunt couldn't be lined up better. As they entered downwind of the elk, Alucard stopped for a moment, jogging in place. Looking at Anastacia, he twitched his head backward, indicating that she should prepare the ambush with him. The other two would start the charge. The ambush was the part that required the best timing, while the younger pair could do with the practice of chasing the elk towards the two waiting for it. Before taking his place, though, he removed his hat and coat, tossing them onto a low tree branch. Black tendrils flowed freely from his head as he shook his mane-like frills free. Shaking loose his cravat, he stuffed that into the pocket of his coat. He left his tighter-fitting shirt and gloves on, as well as his sunglasses. "Clothes make noise," he whispered. "Anna, why don't you chase the weaker one, you should be able to smell her, and you," he said, indicating the black male, "You make sure that she doesn't break loose and head for the hills. I'm going to fall back and wait on this side, then blitz her when she makes for the neck of the clearing. I'll bring her down. Anastacia, feel like hopping on top and breaking the neck tonight?" The final part of the hunt, the actual kill, would be a suitable role for the blood-red raptor; not as heavy as he was, he who was better suited to hit the elk and knock her to her knees, but experienced enough to know how to hang on and not get thrown. This would be a glorious hunt if it all went well.

"Anna," whispered Echo we are going to drive the weak one into an ambush. Make sure you let the other two go and the weak doe's calf. And just remember to drive the weak one to Alucard and the alpha."

Anna blinked a little as Alucard began to take charge of the hunt. She felt the butterflies well in her stomach at the thought of chasing something. Looking over at Echo, she nodded at his advice wondering if she could go through with this. She was extremely nervous, but what better way to learn. As Alucard took off his clothes, she began to wonder about her own. Would she be as noisy? Anastacia hadn't said anything before about her clothes, but they always got messy and in the way during a hunt. Grabbing the tail end gingerly, she slipped the cloth over her head, placing it over a tree branch. She then slipped off her tail bracelets and socks on her feet and arms. Her necklace, however, stayed on her neck. The female refused to take it off for any reason, for why she didn't even know. Anna looked over at at Echo nodding a ready.
Anastacia gave a slight hiss of approval, her gripping claw tapping the ground with anticipation. The two with the clothes have started to annoy her slightly, her blood pumping, wanting blood shed and success. Flicking her tail, she looked over at Alucard. At his question, she smirked. "Oh, darling, I'm always on top." Smirking and giving a light wink, her steps light against the ground. "Hurry up, Alucard. I'm feeling a little fire." The red disappeared into the brush trying to sniff out a good spot.

"Follow me Anna," whispered Echo. He began to crouch low in the grass predicting his position to the elk. His coloring was perfect for stalking the huge animal. He had already decided to be the one to lead the weak elk to the kill spot. Anna could drive of the other three and then tighten up the hole to his right. He hoped he could get a good slash at the animal's leg making it easier for the other two to get a good grip on the elk's throat. He hoped the poor creature would have a fast death. Anyways it would at least be a better way of perishing than the slow and tourturious way the disease would have gotten her.

Alucard leered widely, shaking his head at Anastacia. He liked her, he really did. She made his blood boil, and not in a bad way, either. When the Master showed up, he'd have to introduce the two of them. "I'll be sure to remember that," he said quietly, wanting to throw his head back and laugh. However, he wasn't going to throw this hunt for the rest of them. He nodded kindly at Anna as she followed his lead and took off her accessories. Clothing was nice, but it did make such a mess sometimes... Hiding himself in the bracken, he waited across from Anastacia for the other two to begin the charge.

Anna felt the beat of her heart thrum against her chest, hair-like feathers brushing against her face and neck as she walked. She made her way to the other side of Echo waiting for him to take his lead. Anna moved from side to side a little, her motions quick and jerky, mouth slightly opening showing a flashy motion of teeth. Her pupil seemed to shrink a little more, what was left of sense was sinking...and fast. "Echo..." She hissed. "I'm ready whenever you are to start."
Anastacia hissed lightly at the two chasers. She was ready to begin, and right now they weren't exactly helping her patience. The tribal stared over at Alucard for a moment before back at the herd. She sensed in the air that the stupid animals were starting to get some sense. They were starting to feel in the air that something was around. Many times the animal would stop grazing, lift their heads, and listen. Everything became still and quiet...too quiet. The hunt needed to start and start quickly.
