The waterhole sounded really nice right about now. "yea, lets go," at Mkaa's offer of distracting their father while she spoke with mom, she felt so touched, and felt guilty for not telling him right away. But she knew he would understand, and that Mkaa would meet the mystery male soon enough.
"Thanks Mkaa, I owe you," she said with a smile, and arted off towards the waterhole as if egging Mkaa on for a race.
Mkaa was always there when she needed him.

"Ok," he agreed, and snorted when she jogged ahead quickly. If she wanted a race, he supposed he could go along with it. They could rest at the waterhole, but now was a good time for some fun- it was a relief to see she was no longer panicking. So he chased after her.
"You bet you do!"
