"Dodge it!" The short trainer shouted nervously, his hands clenched into fists as he tensed up.
This was getting to be too easy, the dark-type thought as he zoomed away from yet another failed attempt to paralyze him. Just one, maybe two more hits and the girafarig would be down for the count.
"Try dark pulse again!" Kazuki called, relaxing a bit and sighed, relieved that the umbreon had avoided the thunder attack.
With another growl, a dark blue aura erupted around the blind pokemon and he paused a few moments before he pushed it out, sending it shooting towards Hea.

 "This is getting ridiculous!" Kayla shouted in anger. How can her luck be this bad!? Every time she tries something it either gets backfired or it misses completely!
Hea did another dodge of dark attack that umbreon had sent just now, in atempt to silence her.
"Hea! Use Thunder one more time and cover the whole stadium in it!" They were not taking anymore chances! They have to do it and do it now or all is lost!
Another Thunder attack went straight for Ryou. Hea was getting to the point where she could not go on much further.

Ryou smirked as he nimbly avoided the thunder attack once more, internally rejoicing at how well he was doing. He was glad he hadn't been hit yet, as dodging thunder was a lot easier if he wasn't struggling to move.
"Dark pulse again!" The blue-eyed trainer called, proud of his blind pokemon for doing so well.
"Umbre!" The dark-type replied, and he hurried to comply to his trainer's order, as he wanted this battle to end as quickly as possible. This was his best battle yet! "Bre..." He growled as his eyes and rings glowed blue, and the dark aura surrounded him again for several moments, before he sent it out in waves towards his opponent.

This was getting really tiresome. It's basically repeating the last few turns. Hea would miss the attack and same goes for Ryou. Hea couldn't dodge forever, as much as Kayla wish she could. If they went ahead and just did an attack, the end result would be the same. If they tried to do a paralysis again there will be a small chance of them winning but it's really small. However, even the smallest chance could make all the difference.
When Hea dodged the pulse, Kayla didn't have to command Hea to do Thunder again, she already knew and went ahead and sent another lightening show. It would be unlikely that Ryou would miss again this time so this THunder had to count.Quote: 200/1000 Watch, it will be a miss agian. XDD;; -prostate self to the dice gods- THANK YOU!! T___T

And it did count. Fortunately for Kayla and Hea, the petite dark-type had grown quite cocky from dodging all her attacks, and he slipped and dashed -- accidentally -- into the water.
Bad idea.
"Ryou, don't!" But, too late; the short trainer covered his eyes at the next part, unable to watch.
The thunder attack had also struck the water, and everyone knew how wonderful a conductor water was. The surprised umbreon let out a yelp before the force of the attack sent him rolling over the sand and landing in a stunned heap on the sand. All he could do was growl threateningly -- a lot of good that did.

Kayla growled predatorly as the umbreon finally got caught in the paralysis and could not do anything until he was released by it. By that time, Kayla hope to catch Ryou again until the battle was over.
"Alright, Hea! We got him cornered! Let him have it with Double Kick!" Hea, who had been renewed with energy at the effectiveness of her thunder, she charged at the paralysis Ryou and lept over him before kicked back at the black cat with both her back hooves.

Kazuki flailed on his half of the arena, panicking at seeing Ryou down. He couldn't have fainted after that attack, no; but things like this had happened before, he was even encased in ice in one battle, and still managed to come out on top. "Come on Ryou, snap out of it! Try and move!"
All he could do was growl. He was trying to move, couldn't he see that?! ...well, he probably couldn't, but oh well. He sensed the psychic-type's swift approach and braced himself as she jumped over him, fully expecting the attack that would come...
...but it didn't. How the girafarig could have missed a sitting duck like himself, when she wasn't even confused anymore, was beyond him. All he could do was sit and wait, however, and attempt to get some feeling back into his limbs.

Hea and Kayla was getting more frustrated as time passed. Every attempt they had tried at Ryou, it was a miss or an injury to themselves. They may have bought some time with the thunder but they needed more soon when the affects have passed.
"Hea, use Rock Smash! Make sure to aim this time!"
Hea was angry with herself that she had missed when nothing was blocking her sights or mind to it. Now she will aim her attack as she reared up onto her hind legs and came down onto Ryou with her front hooves.

The short trainer's eyes widened as he stared, knowing full well that Hea would land a crushing blow -- literally -- to his under-sized pokemon. "Ryou, look out!!" He shouted, covering his face in his hands again and peeking through his fingers. Oh, he couldn't watch -- but he had to!
The paralyzed dark-type growled, and he managed to flick an ear. Aha, success! He was slowly regaining control of his body, which was starting to rid itself of the irritating status condition. At the petrified shout, and Kayla's command, the blind umbreon panicked. Hea was directly over him, and such a powerful move -- when he was paralyzed, no less -- would most likely be fatal. With a gutteral noise that could only be described as something between a grunt and a whimper, he managed to force his body to spasm, a twitch large enough to jerk his entire body, and succeeded in avoiding anything fatal. Instead of striking him square in the side, his body twitched at the last second -- a sure sign of the paralysis fading -- and the girafarig's hooves sliced across his back. His body jerked again, this time due to the immense pain that surged through him instead of attempting to avoid an attack, and blood began seeping from the two identical wounds Hea's powerful attack had made. He bared his fangs as his eyes glowed dark blue, and the petite pokemon began trembling from nothing short of anger and sheer will-power as he forced his way through the paralysis, managing to move a little bit at a time.

Kayla felt kinda bad for Ryou as she watched him struggle to aviod such a deadly attack. He had manage to aviod it becoming deadly but could not aviod the attack itself. It caused him a bloody injury nontheless.
Kayla winced but Hea glared meancingly at Ryou, hoping to trap him again under her hooves for the pain he had caused her. "Good work, Hea. Let's try this again! Thunder!"
Again, it was a risk but if they want to have a chance to win this battle this was the only way to do it.
Hea super charged her little horns on her head that caused the dark clouds that were disappearing to reappear and sent another jet of a lightening bolt at Ryou.

Kazuki could barely stay standing after Hea's rock smash, all he could do was stare at his pokemon's injury. Well, injuries. He felt absolutely terrible for him, it made him want to crawl into a hole. He would have felt worse if he'd made the dark-type battle, but the blind pokemon had insisted on taking on as many challengers as he could, and inevitably he brought this upon himself. The short trainer still felt awful, though. "Come on Ryou, you can get through this!" He had to, if he didn't want anymore injuries like that.
The umbreon was struggling to stand when another lightning bolt struck -- it didn't hit him head on, thankfully, but it landed near him with a loud crash and sent him sprawling on the sand again. He could tell the paralysis wasn't as serious as before, so he merely glared blindly at Hea, baring his fangs and hissing threateningly. If looks could kill...

Even though the Thunder attack was not as effective as before, it still delayed the end of this battle, which was great. If they kept this up, it would last forever but give them a chance to win.
"Come on, Hea! Again but with more juice!"
Hea sent another Thunder attack out at the hissing umbreon, hoping this time it will last longer. Quote: 200/1000 Watch...it's a miss. XDDD

Kazuki shouted with his hands clenched into fists, hardly able to stand watching his blind pokemon get hurt like this. He didn't care about the battle anymore, he just wanted Ryou to be okay.
The dark-type paid hardly any attention to his trainer as his body trembled and he slowly struggled to stand, still growling and hissing at the girafarig with his ears pinned back. Thankfully, finally, he was almost fully rid of the stupid status effect. At the mention of 'again' spoken by Kayla, the petite umbreon's ears flicked and he managed to dodge just in time, although he did stumble a bit, but not much. He whirled around and bared his fangs at Hea, whipping his tail back and forth, his anger multiplied tenfold due to the throbbing pain in his back. He ignored the blood for now as his eyes glowed dark blue and he hissed again.
"Shadow ball!" Kazuki shouted, his voice relieved with perhaps a tiny hint of anger mixed in, his fists still clenched.
With a snarl, the fuming pokemon eagerly complied as maybe ten baseball-sized orbs of dark energy formed and swirled around him, swelling to the size of basketballs and gaining speed before he sent them hurtling around the field, all going different directions, but they all curved around and headed straight for the psychic-type. Oh, she would pay.

Kayla and Hea knew that Ryou was out for murder if he could get away with it and also knew that the effect of Hea's attack wouldn't last very long.
The moment the umbreon manage to shake off the paraylsis, Ryou let a shadow ball at Hea. Forunately, Hea was on her feet this time and dodged it by a inches.
"Niiiiice, Hea!" Kayla praised but it was not needed. Hea was still out for blood if not murder too and once agian attempted to paralyize the umbreon by sending several lightening bolts at Ryou, making it difficult to dodge it.

"Dodge it, dodge it!!" The blue-eyed teen shouted frantically, flailing his arms in his desperation. He did not want his pokemon to be laying there, helpless again. It was too much to take.
The petite umbreon didn't need to be told twice, and with effort he managed to avoid all the lightning.
"Try--"
"Breon!! The dark-type snarled, shooting many more basketball-sized shadow balls as he completely ignored his trainer. No, this was personal now. He would do this his way, and no one would tell him otherwise.
