Deilita smiled a bit at Vidori and smiled, shaking his head affectionately at the two in front of him. "Well I can tell, but Richard and Loralee were pretty worried about you two. Speaking of fixing...." Deilita looked up at the engine they were working on and noticed something a bit off from the last time he had seen the ship. "Where exactly is the cooling tank for the engine? It looks like someone tore this poor girl apart."

Vi nodded, a bit wearily. "Yea, this hunk of junk is almost not worth fixing..." She sighed, though Enty shot her a look.
"Benta tu rad no...." He growled indignantly. Vi shook he head with an apologetic smile.
"I'm sure it's the best deal you guys could of got in these parts..." She reassured but then realized what Deil had said about Richard and Lorey was probably true. "Ah, I didn't think of that...I hope they're not too worried...should we check in with them?" She asked, looking to Enty then back to Deilita.

Deilita merely rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. "Well, it's really up to you guys. If you want to keep working till the apocalypse comes, then that's cool. But it really up to you two."

Deilita smiled warmly, he could feel himself going back to the carefree guy he used to be, aside from that though, he chuckled a bit when he saw Vi's face smeared with oil from working on the ship in front of him. He could remember when he first showed her his ship, she was so funny to him sometimes.

((Gosh I swore I replied to this! ><))

Vi shrugged, attempting to wipe her face clean. "What do you think Enty?" She called, looking over her shoulder at the furry little creature. Enty dropped a wrench like tool on his foot, cursing in some unknown language.
"Rada furato!" He shouted, obviously ready for a break. Vi laughed and returned her gaze to Deilita, giving him a million watt smile. "I guess that means we're done here for now..." She laughed putting away her own tools and stretching her arms above her head, showing off her newly well-tone abdomen. "So did you sleep well?" She asked as Enty finished putting things away.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was getting late and Enty had just made the call to Richard and Lorey that they'd be a tad longer. Vi had been under the huge chunk of metal fora few hours, grease and oil splotching her all over as she worked away, not letting up until she at least made a dent in this little 'project'.
A few hours had passed and Enty had fallen asleep in a pile of scrap, seeming to purr as he dreamt of something. Vi, who was usually calm and at peace with herself while working on engines, found herself cursing and banging what displeased her. She could usually lose herself in the inner workings of the different compartments and pipes and just hunks of metal, but for some reason, she felt too emotionally charge at this point to continue much longer. After a few more thumps and bumps she sighed, exasperated, flung herself out from under the hunk of junk, and threw her tools down, making Enty twitch in his sleep. She pushed her bangs back, leaving a little smug of black on her forehead. She was breathing heavily, her back turned from everyone, resting her head on the engine itself. Her deep breathing turned to soft sobbing, as her shoulders shook ever so lightly. She cursed softly, banging her hand on a piece of metal, cutting her as she did so. "Dammit!" She cried louder, sinking down to her knees, crying now, a bit more audibly. Just this morning she was looking up and so happy to finally be heading home. And just as she was about to be free from any more hurt or hate, Deilita showed up in her life...again. The odds of him showing up when he did were astronomical, but here he was. Vi hated herself now because she couldn't really figure out why she was upset, she tried to stifle her cries as she held onto her hand, feeling embarassed and strangely alone.
Realizing how late it was, Deilita decided that he'd check up on Vi and see if she or Enty would want something to eat or something like that. With a sigh, he rubbed the back of his head while holding a bottle of water that he had drank halfway down by this time. While she worked, Deilita had been working on a job that he received, which was delivering some sort of foreign package to another person that was well on top of the food chain. Sure he didn't look inside it, he never did unless told to, but something felt wrong about taking the money he earned. But then again, he hadn't been doing much of the right thing since Vi left his life. Maybe it was time to start fresh.
In any event, he had reached the ship, but hesitated when he saw Vi crying softly. This action instantly made Deilita melancholy. He had brought this poor girl out into another planet, made her abandon her home, and for what? A broken heart and hard times. Deilita felt horrid about what he had done, did he deserve a second chance with her? Something didn't quite feel right with this, so he started to back up, thinking that he would merely walk away and let her cry things out.
No, that would be stupid. It was obvious she was feeling alone, but would she want him around her? "Looks like I'll just have to find out myself..." He thought as he walked over to the ship and tapped on it lightly, just to get Vidori's attention. Hopefully she wouldn't mind his company. "Hey, you okay? I sorta....heard you crying Vi..." From where he was standing, he couldn't see the cut on her hand, but he could tell that something wasn't right around here.
Vi jumped slightly, seeing Delita. She quickly wiped away her tears with her one hand and stood, acting as i f nothing was wrong. "I'm just...Just frustrated." She said with a small forced smile, heading over to where she kept her tools, so that she may find a clean rag to put over her hand. "You know...It's funny.." She began, as she pulled the fabric tight around her palm, watching the blood soak through a little bit. "...I missed you terribly...But I still hated you for some reason." Her back was turned to him as she chuckled a little, her eyes watering again. "Weird right? And even when I know in my heart that I love you...I still have that pain...its crazy right?" She laughed a little louder, a tear starting to roll down her face. Vi had a lot more than that on her ind but it was the only thing she could really express to Del right now.
*sorry i'm heading out the door literally, its kindableh but w/e. >,<*
Deilita understood what she meant, and instantly, he felt horrible for the things he did in the past. No matter how much he tried to forget, it seemed that his feelings on how bad he was to Vidori that one day seemed to come back to him, taking a piece of his being away with it like a thief in the night. Sighing and forcing a pained half-smile, he started to say something, but stopped when he saw the tear roll down, causing him to sigh once more and look away.
"This isn't going to work out....I just have a feeling something is gonna go wrong..." He thought in his head as his smile slowly faded to a worried and somewhat saddened frown. He wanted to be optimistic about his and Vidori's situations, but considering the circumstances, nothing was sure to work out for him anymore. It was like playing a round of Russian Roulette, no one was sure who'd get the bullet until the gun went off.
Slowly, he looked up at Vidori and sighed, his eyes slowly looking at her slender body before meeting up with her own eyes. Those eyes were like a great flood of comfort for him when he and her were finally together, but with the thought of a possibility of her leaving him in mind, he felt as if things couldn't get any worse. "Vi...I.....Do you think we'll..." Deilita fell silent when his phone began ringing, It was the last thing he needed to worry about, but something felt that this one phone call was important.
Vi looked to Delita, suddenly feeling guilty for letting him see her breakdown. "Del I-" She had began as well when his phone rang. "...I'm gonna call it a night...SInce my room is probably being used, Could Enty and I spend the night with you on board your ship?" She asked, knowing he should answer his phone.
(I know my posts are crappy. I'm sorry, I'm like rushed bc i'm only home early in the morning or late at night this weekend and i cant be on long... sad Sorry I'll get better i promise)
Deilita nodded to her question, which was a quick sign of saying yes before he reached into his pocket and put his phone to his ear after answering it. "Hello? This is Deilita..." It was Harry, and his voice sounded the opposite of happy at the moment. "What's wrong Harry, did something happen.....yes, I did deliver that package to the client, what's wron....what do you mean that was the wrong person?!" Deilita's whole demeanor changed when he heard the news of Harry making a shipping mistake and sending the wrong client a set of diamonds that was supposed to be for a richer, more prominent person.
"Well don't worry Harry, if you need help, I....you told them that it was my fault?! What the hell Harry?! You know what, for the moment, don't call on me to help you out! I'll see you around, cause you ******** owe me for this one man!" A very worried voice started to speak of an assassin, but it was cut off before it could finish. Looking back to Vidori, Deilita sighed and shook his head. "God, it's just one thing after another....yeah, you and Enty can spend the night on my ship, don't worry, it's cleaned and everything." He said with a weak smile.
Vi had headed over to where Enty lay and tried to provoke the little fellow awake. but he simply batted her hand away and snored a bit louder. Vi sighed, scooping up the little alien as if he were a child. She couldn't just leave him out here in the dark like this. That and it was getting a bit chilly. She had heard Del's conversation on the phone and furrowed her brow in confusion as she approached. She heard something about an assassin or something of that nature when he had hung up. "T-thank you..." she said with a tiny smile as she walked ahead a few steps.
Though after a short distance she stopped, turning to him and cocking ehr head. "...hey, is...is everything alright?" She asked, referring to the phone call. She didn't mean to pry, but her curiosity and worry were now pricked. Enty was still dead sleep her her arms, his little paws around her neck, his fluffy head on her shoulder.
Deilita was thinking to himself about how to deal with whatever consequences that may come his way whenever the real package owners decided to come for him. At first he assumed the worst, but evenutally shrugged it off when Vi spoke to him. Looking up at her, he shook his head and sighed softly. "Ah, just some stupid stuff from the last job coming back to haunt me. Apparently Harry, the guy that I've been working for, messed up on a delivery of a package, causing me to send it to the wrong person. And its supposedly my fault that he gave me incorrect information."
Rubbing his temples gently, he began to walk forward in the direction of his ship. Things wouldn't be so bad soon. He'd have enough money to pay off his debt to the docking bay, and soon he'd be off this planet with or, god forbid, without Vidori. But there was no sense in thinking so negative about things now is there?
Vi nodded, seeming to get a view of how His life had been the past year. Besides the drinking, fighting, and overall recklessness that is. She couldn't help but feel a little bad. But then again, it was that pity and compassion that she knew would make her fall in love with him again. And she wasn't sure if she was ready for that again...at least just yet. "Well, what can they do to ya?" She asked with a small wink back at him. "Fire ya? Make you pay for it? Kill you?" She meant it as a joke, but it still felt weird. She had heard of and seen too many people who had been killed for the simplest and stupidest mistakes. She tried to push that thought from her mind as she looked up ahead. "So You've been able to keep your ship clean since I've been gone?" She asked jokingly, as she thought back to the largish ship. She remembered her first night... she was so naive and impressionable. She was wooed by a big window essentially. She remembered the large atrium like room where She had Del had kissed- or...almost kissed. she reminded herself before pushing memories from the past out of her head.
Deilita laughed at the killing part, figuring that Harry wouldn't allow that, especially since he knew what would happen if he died because of his screw up. "Nah, I don't really work for Harry per se, I'm more of like a hired hand. A mercenary if you will. I just pick a job that he needs done, and if the job and pay are good, then I take it. As for cleaning my ship..."
He stopped for a moment as one of the floating droids that usually worked on the ship, made it's way over to Deilita and the others. It's childlike, feminine voice could be heard as it called out Deilita's name. "Mr. Deilita! It's good to see you again! Me and the other guys cleaned up the ship while you were gone, so everything is- Ms. Vidori! Is that you!" The droid who was first hovering around Deilita, then floated over to Vidori and spun around her once, excitedly.
"It IS you! Ooh, I heard you got lost, we've been trying to find you for a while now! It's dangerous out in the city, you know?" Deilita merely sighed at this and chuckled a bit. "Heh, Seth I'm glad to see that you're so excited. And thanks for cleaning the ship." The droid turned to Deilita and saluted after saying a quick "You're welcome!".
Vi smiled widely when the little droid approached them. She laughed a little until it mentioned her being lost. "Huh...Lost huh? Sure..ok that works for me..." She gave Deilita a sarcastic look before laughing a bit. "Well, at least someone's looking after you here..." She noted watching the little droid flitting around. "A seemingly steady job, droids to clean your ship...besides a few too many beers, it looks and sounds like you've been doing just fine." She noted, a bit more serious as she continued walking towards the silhouette of his ship.
