My instructors will not teach me Aeroblade because they hated it while they were in Drum Corps. I'm upset by this because I at least want to learn how to do it before I say I hate it.

I'm a sophmore and been in guard since marching season freshman year. My guard is a bit different, the director exposes you to all equipment we use (sabre, rifle and flags, sometimes swing flags) when you first join and we have ensemble rifle and sabre pieces in our show. But we don't have airblades. I SOOO wish we did though!

Four people in our guard got to use Airblades. I didn't get to because my guard instructor chose only upper classmen and her favorite guard members. -_-

I should recommend these for our guard! We go to use rifles for the first time this year, and more tan one flag. Our guard coach made the flags herself. Plus, we're using "protester signs" (the theme is Woodstock, so we're protesting the Vietnam war). We create a wall with those. AND we dance with flowers during one of our songs. So many props!!! There is a chance that we will get sabres next year, too. That makes me SUPER excited. emotion_kirakira

This was my first year on a high school guard, and since we were only 8 people we all got to spin airblades for the weapon in our show, I LOVED it but it hurt soooo much when you hit yourself xd
