Dinosaur! <3 haha, that's beyond cute.

My boyfriends little girl who's 3 this year likes to run up to me and point at her lip going "booboo!" and then point at my face XD It makes me chuckle.
She likes to stick her fingers through my clear skins when i wear them, too XD the giggles she gets out of that is adorable.

I love being around the lil kid :] I have so many stories!

Although, most kids that see me in the high street etc just sort of stare at me, and then say things like "mommy I want _______ like her!" much to their parents annoyance, or just grin when I do "magic tricks" with my piercings (i.e straw through ear.)

Man, I love kids. They'ev got the right midset about piercings and things.. Y'know? Funny shiny things to look at and play with. It's a shame that when most of them grow up, they won't keep the same mindset.

Hahaha, the dino comment is awesome. xd

Yeah, little girls seem to like my hair... o_o""" They tell their moms they want my hair or they will have hair like me when they grow up.

(The weirdest was when I had just coloured hair, like red or blue or green, and people would come up to me, total strangers, and TOUCH my hair... wtf?!?! gonk )

I've had that too. Although, It was mostly my fringe at the time. People would run up to me, stare for a bit then tug on it real hard. They're excuse was "I wanted to see if it was real".

They either got a massive slap, or angrily yelled at for even thinking my hair wasn't attached to my head when you could clear see roots etc.

It was worse when I had dreads >.< Dear god it made me want to kill people.

*gets on her high horse*

Ahem...

People who think that just because someone has interesting hair, that they are a petting zoo, should be shot.

That is all.

*gets down*

rofl

No but seriously! My boyfriend gets his mohawk grabbed, I always got mine grabbed, people touch my hair when it's newly dyed, my friend Kevin ALWAYS got his dreads tugged on... ALWAYS BY STRANGERS!! Wtf?!

The best is when I was working at Halloween USA(which, btw, was a really fun job and I miss it), I had people ask me "is that reeeal?!" to my chest tattoo. What do I even say to that?? Haha! "Um... no. It's fake. I draw it on every morning while looking in the mirror" or maybe "No. I got it out of a quarter machine at the grocery store". xD I just reply with "Um.. yep." and laugh out of being uncomfortable.

OR! While I was cruising the isles at said job, I had a guy grab my sleeve and just pull it up to see my tattoo. No words. Just. Grabbed. And I can't count the times strangers grab at my chest to touch my chest tattoo! D:

And there are more stories where those came from.... Like oh.. the guy who tried to pay me to touch my lip ring..

You know.. I love my mods and all.. but I am not a petting zoo. It's like.. people see tattoos and piercings and just think that that means that we must have NO personal boundaries. I don't get it.

So true. I hate having random people just run up to me and stick they're nasty hands on my mods/me. It grosses me out. I'm not a germ-nut, but I don't take nicely to random strangers tackling me and poking me or running they're hands in my hair. Ew.

I was watching some show earlier in the week, and someone said "Back in the day, you used to pay a quarter and go into a tent to see that kind of thing" about tattoos/piercings. It amused me for a bit, but then I got thinking - since when were we freaks on display or some kind of circus act?

For that... I'm going to start charging people a couple of bucks everytime they starting tackling me over my mods. That'll make 'em leave me alone..
That, or i'm going to have to go back to sticking my finger in peoples eyes/grabbing bits of their anatomy and playing with their hair. See how they like it!

All of this petting zoo stuff is making me think of something I was reading on The Gaian Parents Guild about people randomly coming up to pregnant women and rubbing their tummies without asking. Some people like to rub their tummies back to show them that the gesture is not welcomed. I'm not looking forward to strangers rubbing my bump when it gets bigger.... lol.

Cutest comment ever, a little girl pointed to me and said "Mommy, she has her heart pierced!" and my sternum piercing.

Omg thats adorable

My ex boyfriend was sitting at the bookstore once with a big green mohawk and some little kid walked by and goes "look, mommy!! a dinosaur!!" I love that story. xD

And thats too good!

those two kids just got rid of the anger I had for this crazy guy who wanted to beat you razz
But seriously... your parents should beat you... what a thing to say to a person... although Ive said it plenty of times for jokes to my friends though sweatdrop

Straying away from the topic of cute children...

I hate when random people come up to you and ask you if 'it hurt'(stretching, tattoos, etc). But what I hate more is when people ask you 'why do you hurts yourself like that'? What?! eek

Thiiiis! It's like, "yes, I'm in constant pain, thanks for asking." Idiots. Or when they ask DID it hurt? Uh, no dumbass, having needles shoved through my flesh didn't hurt AT ALL. stare
Yes, also on "Why do you do it?" Uh...cos I like the way it looks?

I'm right there with you on the thing about people grabbing at hair and such. I wear cyberfalls sometimes when I go out and people just seem to think that it is PERFECTLY okay to come up and GRAB my falls while asking me stupid questions about them, like if they're my real hair. Yes, of course, my hair grows out of my head in shiny silver and red tubes. rolleyes I seriously want to slap people sometimes.

Also the piercing grabbing. That usually happens when people are poking at some other thing I'm wearing, like my studded vest or patched up jacket or the cyberfalls. The only time that has EVER been okay was when I was at a Billy Idol concert pressed up against the stage and Billy ******** Idol himself reached out and tugged on my nose rings and grinned at me.

As for the incident in the OP,you handled it better than I would have. I'd have flipped out on his a** and gotten fired, at the vry last. Stupid ********.

I swear I would have jumped the counter and ripped his eyes out or beat him with the register Dead Rising style.

I've never had anyone physically touch me, as I live in a fairly small town and people are too scared to come near me xd But there was one kid who ran up to me when I had a green mohawk. She was cute, she asked me how I made it stay up like that, and if she could feel my ears and junk. Then there was a little boy, he came up and asked "Why do you look like that?" I said Why don't you? He didn't really know what to say to that.
