Bijoux was inteested in what Thirteen had to say, he was very honest when it came to things. Very nice to have someone who didnt cover up the truth to make them seem more mocho or more sensitive. She followed his lead, he obviously knew his way. The mare picked up her feet some more as it seemed she was dragging them. She looked around taking in the scenery, she had never been to the ocean. Non the less know what it looked like. How did they get here if there was water surronding the island? They didnt swim here did they?!
Thirteen was really easy to get a long with. She didnt have to deal with trying not to blow up because the person eaither bored her to death or they had an additude. She was glad to be adventuring with Thirteen because she was easily having a great time, and all they had been doing so far is talking to eachother, learning about eachother. She smiled mentally as she nodded, "As do i. Learning something new, its just so nice! I must agree, i think some soquili are scared to learn new things, or get into danger, but that stuff happens sometimes."
She grinned happily and listened carefully to what he said. Bijoux nodded, "Well yes, that would have helped me a little more seeing your wings." She giggled quietly as she listened to him speak again. The black mare coughed a bit, "Well may they be blessed with those wings. And you were made how you were supposed to be made. Theres nothing wrong with the way you were made." She smiled looking ahead as she continued, "But I am a little jealous of your siblings. They can see the treasures of the sky, and be closer to the stars then us normal soquili."
Steadily following Thirteen she laughed, "Well, I'm sure you can get it out of 'em! Your Thirteen! They'll have to tell you how they breathe, and there other secrets! And i'd be guessing there home would be watery, right?" She winked jokingly and gave a small laugh.

Lucky tried to be as open and honest as he could. There really was no need not to be, unless you had something to hide. And the young stallion didn't have anything that needed to be hid. Being open minded and welcoming new opinions of others always gave you a greater insight to the world. And he loved learning and hearing new things, even if they challenged some things he himself might believe in. Being macho about things never really crossed his mind. And being sensitive wasn't such a bad thing sometimes. He wasn't afraid to cry or be silly like some others were.
"I think its sad though. Being afraid to learn new things or get into a little danger here and there. As long as its not life threatening. You never really see the world and everyone in their own luster of light if you shut yourself away from the world." He chuckled lightly, pulling his chin into his chest just a bit as he closed his green eyes for a second. "Sometimes I wish those who were like that weren't. And that they were perhaps a little like me and wanted to see what the world had to offer them. But I guess your right. Stuff like that happens and you can't just change a person."
Lifting his head again, his nostrils flared as the strong salty scent of the ocean became more and more apparent in the air. They were getting close. "Mmm, that's a common misconception about Flutters. They have wings but they are not strong enough to get very high like perhaps a Wind or Angeni. Even a Kalona. Their wings are really delicate. Like a butterflies. Even when in a size similar to a normal Soquili's size they still have a bit of difficulty getting any height."
He grinned, bobbing his head and puffing out his chest. "Right! And then I'll be able to sneak into their watery home and see all that's there to see." Nodding his head, he glanced out in front of them. The slight shimmer of water in the distance and sight of seagulls in the air brought a soft smile to his lips. "Yep, watery as water can be. Though they can come onto land. Some are shy about doing that though. So we'll hafta be careful when tromping about so as not to scare them away."
