Now that I know how easy it is to get into my room, I gotta lock my window.
Luckily none of you know where I live...
  OR DO YOU?!
  DDDDD:
I'm still a minor! I can sue for child molestation!!

Ha, nice XD

I've had to break into my houses over time...

When I was in 4th grade I didn't need a house key because my arm was skinny and long enough to reach through the mail slot and unlock the door.

In my last house, there was a broke door, buut to get to it you had to climb up a side wall onto the balcony.

And I recently got locked out of the house I'm in now. I used a lawn table to reach a balcony so I could try and get through this giant door that doubles as a window. I accidentally broke the door but I was inside. Then I found out the room I was in had been locked from the other side DX So when my dad got home I was dismantling the door handle with a tool set (I was locked in the storage room). He was not pleased with my resourcefulness...

Man, I wish I was as creative as you, Oscar...D: I wanna use tools, too!!

If they'd listened to me, we would've just called a locksmith and it would've been boring.

Well I had to, because it was cold, I had no socks or sleeves, and most of all I was bored.

LOL xd Nice way of celebrating your dad's birthday and breaking into your own house. You should be glad that no one tries to call the police on you. LOL xd

When my brother was...feh...2 or so.

He locked mom out.

So she had to stand outside, watch with grim horror as he smiled at her through the glass, and began to eat the dog food.

She implored the neighbor to break the window for her, so she could come forth inside and keep him sanitary.

Hmm...Breakin' into Huey's nest.

I can pick a lock rather adeptly.

That must be AWESOME. It'd be even more awesome if you can do it yourself! XD Stupid skirts...

I had to do that a few times fit my house when my mom locks me out when she leaves. .____. I usually keep my window open [shhhh!], so I scaled the ledge thingers that stick out and kept my balance by gripping those water things that collect rainwater. XD The part I hate the most is getting into the window because I have evil metal blinds.

Also, talking about freaky experiences... last night around two in the morning, my two cousins and I heard noises. We first heard it from an area that seems to be upstairs from the basement and then it moved towards my dad's desk. It was a... scrabbling noise combined with the creaking of stairs. >___> After a while of small freaking outs and grabbing a weapon [for me, a pen, and my other cousins, Breaking Dawn and a plastic kid's chair. XD], the noises just STOPPED.

But they continued a few minutes later near the window above my dad's desk and the area where the outdoor stairs were. This time, it was a scratching against the wood kind of noise. D; I ventured upstairs to see if it was my mom at that time, but everyone was asleep [but us, that is]... Now, it's starting to form a pattern here...

After a while, it stopped again and a few minutes later, it moved towards the HUGE window that lets light through the basement. Thank god I had blinds, or else I'd be in hysterics. The noises this time here more scrabbling, scratching, and the squeaky noises from rubbing against the window. And it was a heck of a lot louder then before, plus, whatever it was could kinda see up from the inch not covered by the blinds. .____. At this point, we were all on the big bed a good few feet away from the window...

The next place the sounds moved to was around a foot away from the window near the tube thing that transported the water away from the gutters. D; This was really freaky because the noises sounded like it was in the room. The sounds for this was like... the noise you get for scratching against a cardboard box, as well as just scrabbling. I decided to see if this noise was INSIDE the house and I went over to the source of the noise [we had a cardboard box] and it became REALLY loud, since it seemed to be coming from directly behind the wall separating the backyard from the basement. As usual, it stopped and as usual, it moved to another area. At this time, we all noticed that it was making a clockwise movement around the house, we realized that it was going to come towards the area near the bed where we were, next.

And we were right.

Then, right when you got inside, you remembered that you never lock the back door.

I've never had to break into my house... it seemed a rule when I was little, though, that every single one of us three siblings (older brother, younger sister) would not have our house keys on the last day of school. So every last day of school in elementary school, we all had to sit on the porch and wait for a parent to get home. XD

My roomates and I break into the apartment all the time. Same goes for when I used to live in NYC, I had to break into the apartment through the fire escape, and into the window.

Then there was just one New Years night where my friends and I were locked out at 2am in the blistering cold of 0 degrees and under in our nightclothes........ ...... .....so we went to her mom's busted car and stood there until someone came. This was in the outskirts, too.

I've never had to break into my house before, although my mom did lock me out once when I went back to get HP4 without telling her first. My sister and I did have to break into our grandparents's house once, but we knew where the spare key was kept on the outside of the house.

@ Ilyana: Breaking Dawn makes a wonderful weapon, yes? Nice, thick, heavy book that it is. XD Did you ever find out what was making the noise?

ILYANAAAA. gonk

@Amelia: I only started carrying house keys when I started going to high school, because I walk home sometimes.

@Heather: I've always wanted to go on a fire escape~! And that New Year's thing sounds dangerous...D: Were you still in New York?

@Ursula: I don't think I've ever had to break into anything before. XD (I have broken locks before, though.) And I want to read Breaking Dawn...I haven't read New Moon yet, though. Is it Harry Potter book level of thick?

Breaking Dawn is over 700 pages, so it is rather long. biggrin But I loved it. new Moon is the hardest book of the series to read, so that did take me the longest, but Breaking Dawn is amazing.
